Run away. Total untruths. Total disrespect. Had a tire sidewall separation. Called and asked explicitly if it was covered. Told yes. Booked an appointment. Did not drive it for 3 days until my appointment. Arrived early. Well over an hour later and still with the car in the queue to get into service they said "you have a bulge in your tire". Yes!! We will have to order a tire. What? You bring me there and don't even have a tire for a Mazda 3?? AND it's not covered. What??? The only reason I waited three days and drive to the dealer was because it WAS covered. And then the service reception lady threw a snit when I said I would just leave. So I called my regular tire guy at integra and he had a tire in and repaired in 3 hours. Run run away from the LA Mazda. read more

Hello Jared (General Manager) It came to my attention yesterday that you sold the vehicle I wanted and was going to purchase. I called you multiple times during the day yesterday to arrange the meet to purchase the CX5 GS 2022. I left you voice mails, spoke with Gurpreet (sales manager) to find out info. All I got was you were busy with customers. Well I was a customer as well and one that got no attention to the fact of you earning my business. I am especially shocked And disappointed that someone in your position would allow such lack of professionalism in business. To me this dealership now unfortunately reflects the used car shop down the road where a car sales man is out to only earn the cash and not out to earn cliental. Yes I did not put a deposit down but I thought my words were clear in that I'm going to purchase this vehicle. Besides, you didn't even ask for a deposit. Also the common courtesy would be to have called me to see where I was at with purchasing this vehicle before any of you moved forward. My frustration will be forwarded to Mazda Canada and another review along with word of mouth will be shared in respects to this incident and the in lack of professionalism this dealership presented. The price they advertise is no where near the price you pay. We agreed to buy a vehicle from them at the advertised price. They then tried to charges us a lot more and the best offer they could come up with was over 10% higher than the advertised price. Additionally they had apparently replaced the brake pads, drums etc. but when we had a one day extended test drive they squealed every time we braked, something was wrong and they refused to fix it so we went elsewhere. So I wouldn't be getting my repair work done here either if they cant even do a routine job like break pads etc.! If you want to buy a lemon, go here by all means! read more

Just drove up from Red Deer to Leduc to pick up my 2021 Mazda3. The whole process was impeccably done. My salesman Jas Safri was outstanding. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to do business with. All the staff were the same. I do buy a lot of cars and this won't be the last from this dealership. If you live in Alberta it's well worth the drive. Customer service has been a rare thing in the past 10 years. I recently bought a mazda speed 6 from these guys. I was impressed with the returned phone calls before I bought the car and all the information Sean gave me regarding the specs of the car. However, after I gave the dealership my money, it seems as if they forgot all about me. Part of the conditions for buying the car was a new set of all-season tires. The tires on the car are good for nothing in the winter and only have aprox 3mm left. I have been waiting for a month and I think I'm being shafted. For this reason, I am not giving these guys a wicked review. I feel as if I've been lied to or avoided. I hope Sean and Gilbert keep their word. I haven't even received a text telling me roughly when tires would show up, although I'm certain it doesn't take a month to get tires in Edmonton. Review update!! I called in to see what the status of my tires was and the person I had spoke to said my tires weren't even ordered yet....after a month... needless to say, I wasn't happy. But then service called me in the afternoon to schedule a tire swap...so maybe someone just lost my information.... Second review update!! I had to service my car and the service department really made my day. The manager Steve put my mind at ease and fixed my car ASAP. I couldn't have been happier. I will continue to use the service department as my primary mechanics. read more

I bought a new car from LA Mazda almost a year ago. At that time they had recently switched ownership from Autoworld Mazda to LA Mazda. I held off on writing a review because I wanted to assess their post purchase service as well. The purchase was made pretty easy. They gave me a great price right away and I knew it'd be tough to beat that. I did my homework and no other Mazda dealer in town could come close. After a week I phoned back and asked for some winter mats to close the deal. They said there were some left over mats in the back that someone ordered but never picked up. Good enough for me. They also told me they would pay for a cab ride out to their dealership when it was time to pick up the car. That was pretty nice since I live in Downtown, Edmonton, didn't have a car at the time, and saved me about $50. When it came time to pick the car up, they said there were some paper work issues and I wouldn't be able to get it for another few days. That kind of ruined the weekend but things happen. When I finally was able to pick the car up they gave me a full tank of gas and because of the delay, they gave me my first oil change free. I had to remind them about the mats, which when I got them they looked a bit dirty, weren't stock Mazda mats but they were Michelin brand. They tried to convince me they were good so I didn't think too much of it. Took the obligatory new car photo and was on my way. After a few days, I noticed the mats were not just dirty, but they had been used to the point that there were holes and cracks in them. This was pretty upsetting because on the phone they told me that they had never been used. I didn't think they would do anything so I left it for the time being. When the sales manager called after a week of having the car to ask me how it was going, I let him know about the problem. He did a great job to correct the situation and told me to come down and he'll replace them with new ones. I did just that and he grabbed a brand new box from the service department. So far I've had two oil changes here and they've done a fine job from what I can see. I've had to pay for one oil change so far and they offer better rates than all the other Mazda dealers in town. They are now in the process of building a new building for their dealership next door. I'm hoping the rates won't change with the money they're spending on construction. Overall, I didn't think it was possible for a car dealership to receive more than 3 stars but I've been happy for the most part in the entire process from the point of purchase to the servicing of the vehicle. It's a bit of a drive out to Leduc but as long as I continue to receive the same level of service I'll continue to go out of my way to give them my business. I will say that none of the guys that helped me purchase the vehicle work there anymore so I can't really comment on the current sales staff. read more

Posted a review a week or two ago and oddly its been removed, must of hit a nerve with the truth. Here we go again, I made my down to LA Mazda (60km one way) only to find out the vehicle i was there to test drive (2013 VW Passat) had almost 3000km more on it than advertised. The sales person Delanie kindly pointed out the manager drives the car to Fort Saskatchewan to pick up parts and whatever else. A real turn off knowing that staff at LA Mazda uses cars they're trying to sell to run parts or joyride in. The car had been cleaned on the outside but was filthy on the inside and missing floor mats as well. Good start The manager Amit Verma clearly pointed out in his email "we're in the business of selling cars and we bring the vehicle in to recondition it according to AMVIC rules and regulations." Must of missed the one I test drove. Another reason I drove all the way down there was that I was told by sales person Delanie had a potential buyer for my particular car making it quote "a hot piece" and "This means I will be working overtime to ensure you get as good of value for your trade in vehicle as possible. Help me help you." Sounds like a scripted line out of the greasy car sales guide just to get me in the door but did nothing to keep me from walking out after i was low balled on my trade in value. I was firm on what I wanted for my car but there wasn't even a counter from their end. On a positive their website team did update the KM's on the car ad, I wonder if they updated all their inventory they've run errands with? I will not return to LA Mazda and will be sure to share my experience with anyone and everyone I know so that they will not be suckered into going down there. Had to give the rating 1 star only because you have to but the reality of my experience is ZERO STARS, thanks for wasting my time! Keep your car, you won't get my business. read more

Absolutely horrible finance service.. I was told by the finance manager they would have me approved for what I wanted and he told me to turn down the deal I had in place with another dealership so I did.. Then to not hear back from anyone for days finally got word back from sales not even the finance manager that they only got me approved on a vehicle I had absolutely no desire for.. so not only did they waste most of all my days from work which is when I had to get all this done they talked me into turning down a deal I had in place already with another dealership.. Total bullsh!t.. very unhappy with this place.. Sara in the sales department is great and was the only one who was doing anything and without her I would still be waiting in the dark expecting good news. Other than her this place is a total joke. Pretty disappointed with the experience at this dealership. Mazda has a great product, their vehicles are very reliable and reasonable on price but this dealership was a nightmare. The sales staff and management seemed disorganized and unprofessional. Their finance staff and sales staff sold me my vehicle that had the wrong vin number on a bill of sale, which in-turn caused an issue with my insurance and registration, do you think they went the extra mile to help me out and fix the issues? Nope. From the outset it was a one cluster after the other, and when I went to pick up my vehicle that was a day and half late, it didn't have the options in it that my salesmen told me would be in it. I had been through to much crap to put up a fight about it, I just wanted to get out of there. Have already directed friends and family to other dealerships cause I can't rightfully put them through that same experience. I understand mistakes happen but not that many and when they do happen, do something for your customer to make them happy when their purchasing a 50,000$ vehicle. When a customer comes out of his way and misses work to sign papers so the salesmen can get paid, maybe do something for him in return, especially when you drop the ball again and again. I didn't get any of that from this dealership. read more

What a terrible experience. I was looking at a newer used car and they asked me to trade my 2013 Elantra (Others posted on Kijiji for 8-10 thousand). I waited around the dealership for almost 2 hours while they looked at my car for about 5 minutes. Finally called me to the office with their "offer". First off they jacked up the price of the car I was looking at $1000 more than they themselves had advertised. They then offered me $1000 for my trade (remember this is probably realistically an $8000 car. After they added all their dealer fees, they were asking me to pay more than the asking price of the car after trading in my own. This dealership is what gives car dealers a bad name!!!! read more

I had dealt here before the change in ownership and was far less than happy but i was told the new owners had really cleaned the place up. i ha been looking for a specific car for a few months (2011 dodge challenger SRT8 in Mango Tango orange) and my regular dealership was no help. I drove by one day in December and poof there it was. I quickly went in and started dealing. I did the deal and was told it had a clean Carfax and i would be the second owner. I bought it, literally. Even though it had F1 tires (that i was told were freshly replaced yet were down to less than 40% tread) i drove it through the rest of the winter and very much enjoyed it. Summer came and I really got to see what driving a great performance car can do for ones happiness. After i replaced the "fresh" tires of course. I put 21000KM on the car and was meticulous about keeping it clean, serviced and maintained. Three oil changes, full diagnostic and warranty work performed and i was content as it rolled past the 3 year/ 60000KM warranty deadline. Having paid for a bumper to bumper once over before the expiry and getting all the stuff fixed i was sure it would be a great vehicle for many miles to come. That was May. Then in mid August i was doing some banking and when i got back in and started it the engine check light came on. I immediately drove to Dodge and into the service dept. They said to bring it in but it would be out of pocket for the repairs. After a few hours they called and said it was only firing on 7 cylinders and would need further diagnostics. A few more hours passed and they called to say the #8 piston had struck the plugs (there's 2 per cylinder) so hard it destroyed the electrodes and it could be as simple as new plugs or as bad as a new piston and re-sleaving of the cylinder. Luckily it was just needing 2 new plugs. They suggested replacing all 16 just to be safe but they were on back order. While i waited for the plugs to come in they asked if i would be interested in trading up for a new vehicle. I didn't want to but i was scared and the repair costs were adding up fast. They were already closing in on $1000 so i said OK. The dealer did the usual test drive and so on then they did a Carproof on it. That's where it got bad, They came back and informed me that i was the third owner and the first 2 were rental companies. I was not happy. Further they informed me that the car had been in a major front end collision only a few hundred KM before i purchased it. They lifted it on the rack and showed me a few things that were fixed but not to the point of "good as new" I took a loss to the tune of about 14K but i traded it anyhow. I feel duped and disgusted that i drove my kids and myself around in that wreck for months oblivious to the hidden mechanical problems. I know I will never deal there again and i advise anyone who is going to brave buying from them to get an INDEPENDENT mechanical done on anything used. It could save you big bucks or maybe your well being. read more

I had taken my Mazda in due to a grinding in the engine. I was told it was a dust cover grinding on the rotor & that the mechanic was going to cut it off and charge me the $100 fee. When I picked it up later the car continued to grind but I was reassured it was just something rubbing on the rotor. The grinding persisted to the point where it became worse around different exhalation points, it is now at the point where it needs to be towed to a different mechanic because it's underivable. Moral of the story: don't trust this dealership with your car for anything other than oil changes. read more

There service department was great. My car was dropped off and when I called in the morning I was told they were completely booked and that it could be a day before my car was inspected. They were able to get it inspected in just a few hours. They kept me informed about the status of my repairs. read more

Salesman knew nothing about the car i test drove (a Mazda...from a Mazda dealership), so i had to google everything i wanted to know. When it came to talking about numbers, my salesman said that i had to sign something as a commitment to buy before he would tell me what my trade in was worth; he said this was a way to make sure i wasn't just shopping around for trade in values. This was a HUGE red flag, and i refused. After waiting forever, he came back and told me the numbers anyways despite me not signing the paper (this wasn't an actual requirement?, no shit). I wasn't comfortable with the numbers or with the service i received, and i ended up wasting almost 3 hours (just test driving for 5 minutes, them appraising my trade, and waiting). I believe that me coming to this dealership alone made them think that i was an easy target and i feel they had full intentions of taking advantage of me. I will never be back, and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
