Because they are only open until 6 pm on Friday's (Monday - Thursday they close at 4 pm), I had to book an appointment with a financial adviser with a month wait time. No big deal, I just wanted some investment advice with my RRSP's. My profile even reads that I have a very low knowledge of RRSP's. My appointment was from 5 - 6pm, expecting that if it were to run a little late that would not be a problem (well it's not with most banks). Long story short, 5:55 pm came and next thing I know he is printing me off 8 pages with roughly 10-15 Scotiabank investment options and then continues to tell me to go on "Google Finance" and "research them and decide which one I want to invest my money in". Really? Did that just happen? He then continues to tell me that after I invest in one I can watch them and change to another option whenever I want if that one is not working for me. He continued to tell me that he would follow up with me on Monday (it's been 2 weeks and I have yet to hear from him). Needless to say, I nodded and smiled while being pushed out the door. I had an appointment at ATB the following Monday and I have already been recommended a wonderful profile and in the process of moving my funds over.

Go visit Trevor Pahl, he is highly knowledgeable with investing and answered every single one if my questions on the spot. We explored all of the options and I am very confident in the portfolio that he recommended for me. Today I completed the process with opening a checking, saving and TFSA accounts. I met with Rachelle to complete this process, and again, she is very knowledgeable and helped me decide on the accounts that would work for me. Low monthly fee on the unlimited checking account and a free savings account. As an added bonus, I get $300 for opening an account with ATB and my mom will get $150 for referring me to them. Nothing wrong with free money!! Wonderful location, additional parking at the back of there is nothing left on main street, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great hours! No complaints here and I'm excited to be a new customer!

They essentially require you to have a cell phone to receive security number texts with them to log in. Since when am I required to have, or even if I do have one, to provide them with a cell phone number? Believe it or not, there are people who do not have a cell phone. They do allow a voice mail system but doing that requires you to be a home, and it doesn't work most of the time. and what if you're not at home? I ended up being late on a payment to a credit card because of this. I was in the hospital trying to make a payment with my wife's phone, but because it's not a registered number I could not do so. I have complained but nothing changes. So goodbye TD. Done with you. Moving my savings account, my TSFA, my RRSP and my Trading account.

There also isn't a drive through here. That being said I bank with PC Financial, which allows me to use CIBC bank machines (for withdrawals, and deposits) for free. I come to this bank to use the ATM from time to time. I used to be a CIBC customer, at this bank actually. A couple years ago I had a student account, which doesn't charge any account fees. Then during my 4 months of summer break (May-August) I noticed bank fees on my account. I went in to talk to someone at the bank. Me: I have bank fees on my account even though I have a student account. Bank Rep: Sorry you're not in school right now so we have to charge you account fees. Me: Okay, but I'm going back to school in September, and last year I wasn't charged account fees during my summer break. Bank Rep: Sorry nothing we can do. Me: Okay then I would like to close my account. So yes CIBC lost me as a customer because of a pretty stupid policy (which I understand wasn't the bank rep's fault), but I still come into this bank from time to time to use the ATM. It would be nice if this bank had a better parking lot or drive-thru, but there's not really any space for that. As a bank it's okay, considering I'm just using the ATM.

Did not drive it for 3 days until my appointment. Arrived early. Well over an hour later and still with the car in the queue to get into service they said "you have a bulge in your tire". Yes!! We will have to order a tire. What? You bring me there and don't even have a tire for a Mazda 3?? AND it's not covered. What??? The only reason I waited three days and drive to the dealer was because it WAS covered. And then the service reception lady threw a snit when I said I would just leave. So I called my regular tire guy at integra and he had a tire in and repaired in 3 hours. Run run away from the LA Mazda.

I called you multiple times during the day yesterday to arrange the meet to purchase the CX5 GS 2022. I left you voice mails, spoke with Gurpreet (sales manager) to find out info. All I got was you were busy with customers. Well I was a customer as well and one that got no attention to the fact of you earning my business. I am especially shocked And disappointed that someone in your position would allow such lack of professionalism in business. To me this dealership now unfortunately reflects the used car shop down the road where a car sales man is out to only earn the cash and not out to earn cliental. Yes I did not put a deposit down but I thought my words were clear in that I'm going to purchase this vehicle. Besides, you didn't even ask for a deposit. Also the common courtesy would be to have called me to see where I was at with purchasing this vehicle before any of you moved forward. My frustration will be forwarded to Mazda Canada and another review along with word of mouth will be shared in respects to this incident and the in lack of professionalism this dealership presented.
