I am very intimidated going to a new place where I can't read anything but was so glad I got out of my comfort zone and stopped in. What really stuck out to me here was how clean everything was! It was very organized. I liked being able to walk and browse easily. I wish I knew how to cook more Hispanic food, this is definitely a great place to get everything you need. I loved the premade food there! I couldn't leave without trying the tamales and the chicken mole. It did not disappoint, those were the best tamales I've ever had!! I wish I wasn't so shy and knew how to order everything I wanted here. I wasn't in the mood to get a bunch of food since it was just me but this is definitely a great place to order a bunch of stuff with friends. The carne asada tacos here are the best I've had in the twin cities. All of the tacos are generously filled with meat. The nachos are a massive portion. They do not skimp on anything. Food aside, the aguas frescas are great. The store has a massive selection of grocery items. Full bakery, cremeria, and meat counter. Store looks huge from the outside & it is pretty big however things are pretty spaced out which is nice for getting around the store. There wasn't a ton of produce but enough. Decent bakery selection and even an aisle of baked goods. Prices were pretty standard for a grocery store. They had some hot bar/deli stations as well as ice cream which i'd go back to checkout. They don't have self checkout and when I went they only had 1 cashier so the line was long in which we ended up putting our items back. Overall worth checking out. read more

Grabbed lunch at the deli and it was delish! Had the tacos (chicken, barbaxoa and carnita) and barbacoa quesadillas. Generous portions. Ordering wasn't as easy as it should be. It would be nice if they had a menu right at the deli counter with pics to order from or more signage to make it easier for first timers like me. They did have some signage closer to where you pick up the food so if they moved those towards the deli area, that would make more sense. Large grocery store with icecream and popcicles and drinks. Meat and bakery items widely available. Overall fun store to explore. It was a hot day so all the coolers in the cold/freezer sections had condensation so it was hard to see all the products. Came here for lunch while the nearby FedEx printed some stuff for me. The market was entertaining and interesting with things I had seen in Mexico and things I had never seen before. I picked up a pastry before making my way to the place to order a hot lunch. Another Yelp reviewer had ordered a Al Pasteur quesadilla and that's what I wanted. I ordered at one section and then paid at the nearby cashier; I also got a bottle of water. I went to the main registers to pay for the pastry while I waited for it to cook. It was incredible!!!! Wow the flavor!! It was a good portion too. It included beans, rice, lettuce, and sour cream. There was a nearby fixings bar that had cilantro, raw white chopped onions, chopped radishes, and some sauces. I would go out of my way to come here in the future!! AMAZING Horchata! I had one of my favorite horchatas over here, and loved the variety in the grocery store. They offer a fresh bakery, produce, dry goods, drinks, and a restaurant! Wow wow wow! You gotta check this place out! The deli has a HUGE variety of mexican goodies including the THICKEST tamales you have ever seen, pupusas, sweet plantains and a variety of meat in sauces. The pupusas are so good and are only served on the weekend and certain weekdays. The service here is quick and knowledgeable. The taqueria is a blast with 10 different taco meat options (unfortunately currently not any shrimp). The shredded beef was my favorite but the al pastor smelled heavenly. $3/tacos. The tacos has quite a bit of meat and you can self serve salsas, cilantros and onions. They have rice and beans that come on platters. The store is clean, large and carries a large array of produce and other mexican goods. Already planning a trip back! read more

Wow. The Taqueria is amazing. Order at the taco station for all items. Then pay at the kiosk and select your beverage. There is also a salsa bar. The tacos are excellent with a lot of meat. The Buche and Al Pastor were my favorites. My husband has an Al Pastor quesadilla which had rice, beans and salad as part of the platter. The refried beans were awesome. Great grocery store for the Hispanic community. The meat market is always my favorite place but they also had Jarritos in Guava and I haven't been able to find that anywhere else! The food court has enough to satisfy anyone. I had 4 street tacos *carne asada* and of course the salsa bar had so many options to choose from. Nothing beats authentic Mexican food. Found my most FAVORITE spot for a good taco de tripa 10/10, tripa was crunchy, melted in every single bite, seasoning was on point. I'm normally picky about my tripa, but this exceeded my expectations Lengua was good as well, super fresh 9.5/10 since it was just a bit cooler when I got it. Alambre was another 10/10, I have never tasted a restaurant-made alambre this flavorful and tender. Suadero was 8/10 since it was not as tender as I would love it to be, still pretty good though. I wanted to try cabeza but they said they ran out super early in the day, which made me guess it must be very good as well, will definitely come back for that! Also tried a couple of bakery items. Concha was tasty and strawberry tres leches was AMAZING, not too sweet, very soothing. Cheesecake was decent as well, maybe it would be better if you warm it up a bit since it was hard in the middle. Overall, combining them with milk or coffee would make a perfect dessert Service was fast and friendly staff, the line moved super quickly, they also offered an option for fresh made tortilla right in front of you from scratch. So excited to have lomabonita open in Richfield! An impressive display of options, clean, and popular in its early days. Lots of fresh produce, snacks, candy, deli, meat counter. Lacking some listed prices on items, so it is a little confusing. Lots of parking! They are currently lacking signage and completion of the taco area. If you don't feel like cooking today or need some groceries, you need to stop in. Clean, bright, well stocked and friendly workers! Bakery, ice cream counter, huge meat counter, hot food, piñatas, kitchenware, they have it all! I've been here a few times and have not had a bad experience. We grabbed tacos, tamales, fresh salsa and bakery for dinner last night...DELICIOUS! So good, I forgot to snap pics The aqua frescas are my favorite, they were sold out last night. The chicken tamales are full of flavor and melt in your mouth. Tacos had so much meat and perfectly seasoned. The bakery items are reasonably priced, fresh and perfectly sweet. The custard that fills some items is creamy and well balanced. The fresh food ordering is a little confusing at first, taco ordering is first station, tortas and plates are second station. Tamales and a few other things are where it says Deli. Grab your fresh, serve yourself salsa behind the cashier. All three were equally good. We also grabbed some fresh meat from the meat counter for dinner tonight, their fresh made tortillas are fantastic as well. read more

We decided to go during a week night, located in a big commercial area with plenty of parking lot. Big store with lots to offer. We walked through the grocery section and checked out the cakes. Delicious hot items with an area to sit and eat fresh! Highly recommend eating hot off the griddle. Tacos were delicious. The al pastor was maybe the best pastor I've had in town. The pork tamales were spicy and good. Papusa was very good, also recommend eating this fresh. You can pay for the hot items with your other groceries, but you have to pay for items at the beverage/ice cream stand before the check out. The agua fresca was delicious. Well, the family unit went to go check out the new LomaBonita Market that opened up near the Hub Shopping Center in Richfield this morning. Wow. This was the largest Mexican market I have ever been in. It wasn't too busy when we went at 1030 am (they open seven days a week at 0600). The best way to describe the market? A Mexican Target, only without the clothing section. It was pretty amazing to see. The good: It's huge, and I enjoyed walking around checked everything out. The market is broken down into sections such as veggies/produce, baked goods, butcher shop, cold deli, hot deli, regular grocery goods, a giant tortilla machine in the back cranking out fresh and hot corn tortillas (so good, just ask one of the workers if you can try one hot off the press. A large fresh bag of them is only $1.99!), a florist shop, a fresh juice bar, and a large sit down restaurant area and taco bar. Make sure you check out the butcher shop. They have many non-traditional cuts of meat like the Korean flanken cut (cross section of the pork and beef ribs), and it runs the gambit from beef, lamb, chicken, pork, and fresh seafood. The meat prices are very reasonable, and beats most Target meat prices. The hot and cold deli has a great selection of fresh made salsas, soups, and pre made raw carne such as Al Pastor and Asada. They also have these heated up and ready to eat as well. Make sure to check out the massive sheets of fresh chicharrones. Some of them are so big they have to use plastic garbage bags to hold them! On to the restaurant area. It's like a cafeteria style zone, where you order your food from the overhead menu, grab a tray, and tell the guy manning the plancha and grill what and how many tacos (and such) that you want. Then you wait. It takes about 5-8 minutes per order to make because they make everything basically to order. It's worth the wait though. Just tell the two guys making the food if it's to go or for here. You then get the food and pay for it at the end of the line. Napkins and forks are located here as well. Don't forget about the small salsa bar in the dining area as well. Everything is pretty mild, so don't worry about picking the wrong salsa. The chunky green salsa was excellent. I just wish they had a salsa with some heat to it, but they are all good. If you want something to drink, go to the drink area next to the seating. The wife and kid got the carne asada tacos, and I got the Al Pastor tacos. Wow. The Al Pastor tacos were so good that I had to go get more because the wife and kid ate my tacos! Seriously, these were the best Al Pastor tacos I have ever had, and I've been to Mexico numerous times. Plenty of parking as well. The bad: Nothing really much to say here, except the produce area was looking a bit weak. The veggies looked and felt a bit past their prime, so I'd skip it. The food service was a bit slow as well as mentioned earlier, but there were only two guys working it. So, in closing, it was a great trip, and we came home with a lot of food to make at home for future dinners. We bought some of the raw Al Pastor (yum) and all it needed was to be cooked on the flat top grill, with added pineapple, onions, and cilantro. Also picked up some flanken cut pork ribs, some cooked carnita pork, fresh guacamole and pico de gallo, and some fresh pastries. In the future, it looks like I'll be doing all My meat shopping here since the prices are so good. And tacos. Mmmmm tacos. read more

I shop a lot and especially for dry goods and ingredients. The place is neatly organized. The prices of the majority of the items are a little over priced. A mango for $3-4 it's over priced. A lot of these items can be bought at Asian markets or less and more fresh. The bakery is decent with all the pretty cakes. All they fancy fresh breads, slices of bakery all taste the same. They look different but taste the same. I think they put vanilla in everything. The food court, the food some are over priced as well. It's more expensive than the restaurants. I think they can do better with better pricing so people can come and support them. read more

Really bad experience with their customer service. They didn't want to replace an item that, I forgot in one of the grocery carts. I paid for it, had the receipt they also checked the cameras, to see where the item was. They can see that I forgot the item in their shopping cart. I went back to the store to let them know what happened, manager didn't care she didn't want to replace the item. They would rather lost a customer than $20 dollars. NOT going back to that store again. read more

This place is absolutely amazing, the food is amazing and fresh, the service is great, and the place is beautiful! You should definitely go if you're looking for fresh pastries, cheap but delicious meat, and a warm fresh mexican meal. Stopped in to support them during this turbulent time in our state and I will definitely be back. The store is big, clean, and has a great selection. Their meat, dessert, and bakery cases are really impressive and the prices throughout the store are good. I had dinner at the food market and the food was great! They could have better menus/signs that more clearly state the options and prices but hopefully that will come in the future. The staff is super friendly and will help you get what you're looking for. I ended up getting the taco platter with Al Pastor tacos - the platter comes with 3 tacos, chips, rice, and beans for 16.99 (plus tax). I've had Al Pastor all over the twin cities and this was some of the best I've had. They have a salsa bar with 3 kinds of salsa and all of them were good. I ended up purchasing a container of one of the green salsas from the market to take home because I liked it so much.
