We've always had good service here. The staff is friendly, happy to chat or talk to you, and give recommendations. We stopped in this last time to grab a couple drinks on the patio and the waitress was nice enough to warn us that they've had bees recently. There were alot of bees, but we got through it and were happy that she warned us ahead of time. Their specials are excellent including their double Entre special on Thursdays and their Taco Tuesday deals. Really if you haven't given this place a shot either for groceries or for their restaurant you should stop in!

Before we left, we noticed another couple clearing off a table themselves because there wasn't a clean place to sit. My favorite dishes were the quesabirria platter, the honey macha wings, and a few of the street tacos, specifically the pork carnitas and the pork al pastor, because both were pretty juicy. One major advantage this establishment had was the kinds of sauces they had, because innovatively, they had some chili oil hot sauce that I enjoyed putting on my street tacos, even if it wasn't the most common combination. The carne asada steak street tacos had their own sauce called "salsa real" which was pretty tasty. All of those dishes had good flavor and were juicy. Other than those, some of the street tacos relied on the sauces for juiciness, and the meat themselves were a bit dry (carne asada, for example). The pork al pastor gourmet tacos were a bit dry as well, and relied on the sauce on the side for flavor. The churros were a bit hard, and because of such, I couldn't really use them to pick up the chocolate sauces. The tres leches cake lacked some sweetness, but was on point in terms of consistency. There are still some dishes on the menu that look appealing, so I am certain that I will be back, especially since I live very close to this restaurant. The portions were generous, but the food was a little bit too salty. The 80 people, and it was a little less than half full tonight when we were there. It was noisy, and it got worse for two birthday parties when the staff turn the music up to a level that from having a conversation until it was over. I have to admit that it was surprising to hear whistles at a Mexican restaurant in light of events. Unfortunately, we will probably not go back because the service was very very poor. We had to ask for multiple times before we got them, and it seemed like the staff just kept forgetting us. Prices are OK.
