    Our whole experience buying our first RV was wonderful. Diana was helpful, knowledgable and professional During negotiations and our first test drive. Luis was amazing explaining all the ins and outs of our Unity from chassis to shower and sooo much in between -Not that we remember it all but we took a lot of notes! And last, but not least, Devon was very kind and flexible when we needed to change our delivery time more than once. She was "johnny-on- the- spot" to make sure we had everything we needed before we took our new baby home. Thanks to everyone from Rey and Karla Campbell

    The overall experience was really smooth very helpful. We actually worked with them living two hours away, showed up the RV was ready to be looked at walk-through, which was done very well in details and then the rest of the process was very very smooth actually moved our trailer that we were trading in very close so that I could clean it out and get ready to leave. Would definitely recommend LaMesa. They're amazing. Extra special touches I love the welcome sign that was in the foyer and at our RV, walking in our specific family by name!!

    La Mesa RV in Sanford is the worst dealership I've dealt with in 20 years of buying vehicles. We came in for a Solitude 390 RK, asked them to match a fair price from another dealer, and spent three hours being strung along. They demanded $16,000 just to add a 5th wheel hitch, generator, and washer/dryer, refused to match the competitor's price, and held onto our driver's license during "negotiations" a shady pressure tactic. We sat at a table for over an hour while our salesman, Kevin, claimed he was "fighting for us," but in reality, the sales manager was just on the phone the entire time. Then they tried to trap us in a false choice: either a better price or a better interest rate, never both. Kevin even played the sympathy card with a personal story about his pregnant wife instead of giving us straight answers. Whether it was true or not, it was completely unprofessional in a negotiation. This place is manipulative, dishonest, and wastes your time. If you value your money, your time, and basic respect, shop anywhere else.

    When I started the process of trading in and updating our RV I had the usual apprehension that comes along with this task. Don't overpay and don't get taken is what I kept telling myself. Because a motorhome is such a high-ticket item, you have to broaden your search area to make sure you get what you want and pay what you think is a fair price. I was in the market for a new or barely used Diesel Class A or Super C, and I was trading in a 2022 Jayco Seneca Super C. I started locally and then expanded to get numbers from known nationwide dealers like NIRVC, MHS, Blue Sky, General, and La Mesa. The best numbers I got were from La Mesa, and they had no hidden or inflated fees like some of the others. I felt extremely comfortable with my saleswoman, Diana, and felt as if she was always brutally honest with me. I wanted and respected that. We did the deal via text, email, and phone, and I was still very apprehensive that the "deal" would change once I arrived at their Sanford location with my trade-in coach. It didn't!! The buying and delivery processes went as smoothly as possible, and the staff were over-the-top warm and friendly. I need to spotlight a few people. Thank you, Diana and Mike, for a no-nonsense sale. You guys were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you, Devyn and Gus, for a smooth, informative and friendly delivery. Devyn, you went above and beyond with that FedEx, and I really appreciated your follow-up after delivery on some parts needed. Thank you, finance team (Di and Rebecca), for making our delivery day simple, pleasurable, and without pressure. Highly recommend!!

    Just went looking at new shinny RV's But, after all the time and knowledge salesman Ed spent with us we couldn't leave without buying a new Tiffin coach.. Ed was great, and had all the answers to my sometimes nitty questions. My wife kept saying how nice he was for driving us all over the lot... because of nice people like Ed and the rest of the folks at La Masa in Sanford we will be back and highly recommend them to our friends and family. This business is an absolute disaster from top to bottom…read more My RV was severely damaged under their care, and after four months they still could not complete the repairs correctly. To make matters worse, they even painted my unit the wrong color. The problems start with ownership and management. Andre (owner) and Dennis (VP) have shown a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. Instead of correcting serious mistakes, I was told by service manager Chris in DeBary that I was "too picky" for expecting repairs to be done properly. Poor workmanship, terrible customer service, no accountability, and complete disregard for customers' property. This has been one of the worst business experiences I have ever had. In my opinion, this place should not be operating until they can provide competent and honest service.

    We brought our camper to KA RV Repair in DeBary for a slide adjustment and cable repair, and it…read moreturned into a three-month ordeal. During the slide adjustment, three gashes were put in our floor, and it had to be replaced. After three months, when we finally got it back, the floors, walls, and cabinets were damaged, and the camper was unbelievably dirty. The workmanship appeared careless, with mismatched screws, chipped molding, glue on the floors, and uneven and missing caulking. The slide was still crooked, and the fireplace no longer works. We tried many times to speak with the owner, but communication was poor. When we finally did talk, the conversation became heated on both sides. We were frustrated, and the situation had already gone on for months. The owner showed little interest in resolving the issues. After more than 90 days, we received our camper back in worse condition than when it went in. I have pictures and a diary of calls and messages to support this account. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. In my opinion, I would not recommend this company.

My entire experience with this particular General location was incredible from start to finish. I will start with my first text messages and meeting with my sales manager George. He was knowledgeable, patient, supportive, personable, and reasonable. He was absolutely stellar during both the negotiation process and the closing process. He made me feel like family the entire time and definitely left a lasting mark, that will keep me with General for all of my future RV needs. Samantha, who did the walk through the day of my delivery was also awesome, sweet and thorough. I was running 2 hours late (out of my control) and she was flexible and kind about it, showing me nothing but smiles and grace! She even set my puppy and I up to stay the night in their lot, since my drive that night was going to be 4 hours and I was exhausted. Safety first with this bunch! Ryan, who not only perfectly installed my weight distribution hitch (with several roadblocks due to my negligence with a trailer hitch key AND my tardiness) but also went above and beyond with sharing his personal RV experiences/tips/tricks. His technical expertise was comprehensive and meticulous. He was also SO loving to my puppy, who I had to bring with me that day...making sure she stayed cool in my truck. Even when he was finished with the job, he brought her water and love while I was inside with finance. He walked me through my entire list of questions that I had the next day, still tweaking a few things to make sure my rig was perfection and that I understood every nuance. Now that is incredible customer service! I also want to through props to Tom! While on site, I had some mechanical issues with my new truck (which was my tow vehicle). He went out of his way to make sure that my vehicle was safe to drive home, as well as taking his precious time (it was past closing time) to educate me on the problem, how to remedy it, and how to discuss it with my mechanic who sold it to me...making sure I understood their liability and how to approach the situation to be successful. GRATEFUL! This is a long review because I am still feeling SO much gratitude for my experience with General RV in Winter Garden. I feel like not many customers get to say that after making a major purchase like this. I usually hear horror stories and this experience from start to finish, was like a dream. Thanks ya'll!!
