The cupcakes were unbelievably moist, and the frosting was so light, creamy, and flavorful. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. They disappeared so quickly that I didn't even get a chance to take any pictures! After trying the cupcakes, I checked out their social media and saw they offer a wonderful variety of desserts. I also learned that their cakes are made by pre-order, and after tasting these cupcakes, I'll definitely be keeping them in mind for future birthdays and celebrations. I finally got the opportunity to visit for a live music event series that just started at the business. The bakery is nicely decorated with tables inside. They offer beverages and a variety of cakes, cookies, pudding, and other desserts for purchase with a changing menu. The event and musical guest was great. I really enjoyed the singer. The female clerk that I engaged with was pleasant. The male owner was also present during my visit. I ended up buying a piece of pound cake during the event. The cake was moist and tasted good.

The sugar cookies were beautifully decorated and tasted good. They would make a great gift. We also purchased one of the gluten free cookies. We have tried numerous gluten free products before and unfortunately did not like the taste of this one. They even have drinks and cupcakes. I grabbed a marble pound cake slice with sweet vanilla icing and 3 cookies. Everything was really good. The cookies were sweet... so sweet it took me about 2 days to eat them but they were yummy! The pound cake was good as the icing was my favorite part. I greeted the older woman who came from the back, but she didn't respond, and I immediately felt unwelcome, like I wasn't going to receive service. She then mentioned whether the cook would turn the grill back on, which only added to the discomfort. Based on her tone and body language, I decided it was best to leave rather than stay in an environment that didn't feel inviting. What really stood out to me was what happened next. While sitting in my car, I saw another customer a white male walk in a few minutes later at 1:01 PM. He was greeted with a smile, positive energy, and a completely different attitude than what I experienced. I came in respectful and calm, so the difference in treatment was hard to ignore so what else could it be? Besides my race?? and honestly that is what raised concerns for me. They had run out of turkey bacon an hour before closing, so that sweet/savory sandwich on the menu must be pretty popular. They were also all out of bags of original flavor English muffins, but we ended up quite happy with the 4-pack of sweet potato cinnamon. Service was polite, and there was plenty of parking was available in the shared lot. We enjoyed watching another small batch getting worked on at the plancha behind the counter. We'll absolutely be back for rosemary olive English muffins and to try more sandwiches. We'll probably also harangue any friends traveling through to area to pick some up for us since shipping them home runs about ~$20.
