    SEC sandwich.

I thought I knew what I wanted out of an English muffin: a healthier carb with "nooks and crannies" to hoard pockets of less healthy condiments. But my life has been a lie-- what I really needed was Michael's English Muffins with their pillowy thickness that makes me crave them more than the average bagel. I'll never be able to go back to store-bought or fast food English muffins. Four stars and a half stars. This reflects how good their English muffins are despite me getting the wrong muffin for my sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. They had run out of turkey bacon an hour before closing, so that sweet/savory sandwich on the menu must be pretty popular. They were also all out of bags of original flavor English muffins, but we ended up quite happy with the 4-pack of sweet potato cinnamon. Service was polite, and there was plenty of parking was available in the shared lot. We enjoyed watching another small batch getting worked on at the plancha behind the counter. We'll absolutely be back for rosemary olive English muffins and to try more sandwiches. We'll probably also harangue any friends traveling through to area to pick some up for us since shipping them home runs about ~$20.

I dropped by on a Wednesday afternoon for an early lunch before Michael's closed. The restaurant is small and it appeared clean. I ordered the bacon and egg on an original English muffin with bisccoff butter. I enjoyed the sweet and salty of this and I have no complaints. Very good and satisfying. The staff here were pleasant and helpful. The order and checkout process was effortless. When my food was given to me it was fresh and piping hot.

Michael's sells a variety of English muffins and toppings that can be added such as sausage, eggs, bacon, cream cheese, etc. I decided to check out this restaurant after it got a lot of attention on social media. I expected there to be a long wait but going early in the morning in the middle of the week prevented that from happening for me. The owner or possibly manager of the business stated that Saturdays are really busy. The employees were pleasant. There are tables to dine inside of the business and a shared parking lot out front. You can also get your food to go in a timely manner. I decided to order the sweet potato muffin with bacon and biscoff. It was amazing! I wish I would have gotten another one. I also got an order of hash browns and a raisin muffin with honey butter. They were also good. Some of the potatoes could have been cooked a little longer. They were seasoned but needed a little salt. The sandwiches are toasted and served warm but they are small. The hash browns were served hot.

100/100 This has to be the absolute best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I stopped by Michael English Muffin and was blown away the English muffin was soooo delicious, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The ambiance made the experience even better warm, relaxed, and welcoming without feeling crowded. It's the kind of spot that's easy to settle into and enjoy your meal. The service was excellent and incredibly friendly too. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted by the warm, comforting aroma of fresh English muffins sizzling on the griddle. The menu offers a great variety of options, and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. The service was quick and friendly, and every staff member I met was genuinely kind and welcoming. Michael's English Muffins is the kind of spot that makes you feel right at home from the very first visit.

Oh. My. Gosh. If I I could give 10 stars I would! We ordered the breakfast sandwiches (one on original and one on the rosemary and olive) and they were UNREAL. I will never eat a plain, grocery store bought English muffin the same way. I strongly recommend the rosemary and olive muffin for savory lovers! This place instantly became one of our local gems that we recommend and frequent. Easy, accessible parking. Cleanly and cute seating! Very friendly staff!

Went here on a Saturday morning. I'm not usually big on eating English muffins, but these were not your typical muffins. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and the muffin was soft and tasty. I also got a pack of muffins to take home. I will definitely be back!

this place was great! the only downside is the sandwiches are a little small. parking was easy and the cashiers were very nice! i loved the hashbrowns. i have never tasted an english muffin like this

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese muffin and also a sweet potato muffin topped with this delicious coconut spread. Both were really good, the muffins themselves are delicious! Everything seems to be very fresh here, except the coffee . Unfortunately the coffee was just lukewarm. That said I got there shortly before closing. I would definitely come back!

Went by for the much talked about breakfast sandwiches. I got the BEC and mom got the SEC. And I also got the potatoes. Both sandwiches were good, but a bit greasy. The potatoes were very greasy but well seasoned. Now let's talk about the English muffins. I love the variety of flavors. I mean, who doesn't want a sweet potato English muffin? All the flavors are good. If you like a denser English muffin you'll like these. More biscuit like to me. I personally like a bit thinner EM and I love the nooks and crannies in a Thomas's EM. But these were tasty and very good as well. Service was good and pretty quick. The cashier was very helpful in making suggestions. The place is small but has adequate seating. They also have muffins packaged to go. Now here's where I dinged them. A 4 pack of EM were $9.50!!! You read it right. I think it's too high for bread, but that's just me. This and the greasiness of the food accounts for the 4 stars. And they don't have a variety pack which they should since there are a variety of flavors. However your can just order different flavors individually. Overall I would go back. It's definitely worth a visit.

THE BEST ENGLISH MUFFINS YOU'LL EVER HAVE!!! I especially love the rosemary olive and blueberry muffins. They are unlike any store bought English muffin I've had, and I recommend them to all my family and friends because of how good they are

Best English muffins around! Super friendly staff. I love that they sell their muffins packaged so you can have them later at home. 10/10 will return.

A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.

A bialy (bee-AH-lee) is a traditional Polish-Jewish bread roll, similar to a bagel but with key differences: it is baked, not boiled, has a dimpled center filled with onion bits and poppy seeds, and is generally softer and less dense. Originating in Białystok, Poland, these rolls are traditionally served plain or toasted with toppings like butter or schmear. 2. Rye shortbread. Not too sweet. Just perfection! 3. Bran biscotti. I like the idea of a high-fiber bran biscotti over a refined flour one. 4. Buchi Tepache. I got the mango-pineapple flavor. This is a local NC brand. It's a mildly fermented drink that originated in Mexico. I got the ingredients from their website (drinkbuchi.com): Organic Tibicos (Water, Organic Fair Trade Certified™* Cane Sugar, Organic Kefir Culture), Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Mango Puree, Organic Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Organic Whole Lemon Puree, Organic Mango Natural Flavor, Organic Pineapple Natural Flavor, Organic Monk Fruit Extract. 5. The baguette. Unlike a refined flour white bread baguette at La Farm Bakery, this one is made of a red wheat flour. Turkey Red flour is an heirloom, organic hard red winter wheat brought to Kansas in 1873 by Mennonite immigrants. Prized for its rich, nutty flavor and superior baking qualities, it is often used for artisan bread, sourdough, and pasta due to its unique, sometimes more digestible, gluten profile. It is commonly stone-ground and available from local Kansas millers. 6. The star of the show was the Everything Croissant. Like the Everything Bagel but soft and buttery. Topped with all the sesame seeds and seasonings with a cream cheese interior. So good! I do plan on returning!
