I have gone in here during the rush-hour between the times of 515 and 615 because I get off work at 5 o'clock, and my mother loves this yogurt. They refused. They told me. I've never attended to you. I've never spent a service to you. And I said yes you have, but you guys always have a line out the door and I said, but I'm here almost every other day because my mom likes your guises yogurt, so the fact that they were disrespectful. The fact that it was them that we're right in the customer was wrong. It's the fact that your own people discriminate against you. It's the fact that I thought I spoke to the manager when I brought this up to their attention and after it was addressed, they kept charging me $10. They've got some savory-type food here--mostly snacks--for sale but the reason you're here is for the Mexican ice cream and paletas. It's all really good. Now, fair warning: there's no menu to be found anywhere and no labels or prices on anything. So you ask questions about what you want unless your eyes are far better than mine. We tried a Twinkie ice cream (seriously), a Mexican chocolate ice cream (with a wonderful cinnamon flavor), a beautiful and refreshing watermelon paleta, and a mangonada with pineapple and mango/chamoy sorbet. Everything was terrific. There was a long line inside but they had a ton of workers hustling away so the line moved quickly. This is a no-frills shop but the frozen treats are delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable. Free parking in the lot. Well worth a try. There are two pull doors to enter and then it is very well lit and spacious inside. There is nowhere to sit inside or outside. The employees speak both Spanish and English. La Michoacana is full of creamy cold treats and, of course, mangonadas and tostilocos! Their ice cream is the absolute best, better than Coldstone's or Baskin Robbins. Their flavors have real chunks of fruit (literally full of fruit) and are not artificial tasting. My favs are strawberry & cheese, the guava, and the fresh cheese. The tequila flavor is also pretty good (try it first) and has a subtle flavor. They have so many paletas and I never know which to get, but they are literally ALL good.
