Been to a couple other La Michoacana and this is the biggest one with the largest variety of treats/desserts offered. It's a nice place to hang out too. Love the fresh fruit/veggie drinks, paletas, and various water and dairy based tropical fruit (ie. Guayaba, maracuya) and nut flavored ice creams (Ie. Nuez). HOWEVER, i think they would get a lot more customers if they could have a menu explaining what goes into an Esquite, Papas, Raspados, Mangoneado, Esquimales, etc. I would definitely try some of them if knew what toppings I could ask for/omit! The food was okay, we ordered ice cream. We ordered 3 smalls which are 7.50 each. We got one that was the cajeta, another pitaya and fresa, last one was watermelon and guava. We also got a lime palleta. Service was okay we got an older lady that seemed another when we asked for samples and not the friendliest. I went yesterday with my mom and boyfriend to La Michoacana for drinks and ice cream. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. The employee who helped us, Patricia, had a very negative attitude and didn't seem interested in being there. As a manager, I would expect much better customer service. Her demeanor made us feel unwelcome, and it really affected our visit. If she's unhappy in her role, it might be better for her to consider a position that doesn't involve customer interaction. read more

This place has so many options to satisfy a sweet tooth, including fruit bars, mango ads, and ice cream. They even offer hot dogs and pizza. We decided on a couple of ice cream scoops. When we ordered the lady was pretty rude, there were certain things on the menu we wanted and she'd blatantly say we don't serve that after countless times of switching due to not having the items like it was our fault and we were dumb. When we finally were able to get some stuff I just wanted to pay and get out of there because our experience was so horrible already well upon getting out of the car I realized my "Agua de fresa" and "Yogurt de fresa" were WRONG! Instead I got and agua de horchata and fresas con crema I was so disappointed for my first time. Avoid coming here at all cost. Came here well over an hour before closing. I told them what I wanted and they complained that that they had already cleaned the machine basically telling me to get something else. I apologized for essentially making her work which is what she's there for but told her that that's what my friend was craving and she's pregnant so that's what I wanted. This is a heaven on earth!!! It's so refreshing to walk into this place, not only because everything is freshly made but because you can smell the cleanliness! Staff is kind and helpful. The only dilemma I have here that drives me crazy is that I never know what to get, I want everything! I go for the smallest sizes in what I order that way I can order more than one thing lol. They have delicious, thirst quenching aguas frescas, all the frozen paletas de agua and leche you can imagine! Tons of ice cream flavors and toppings. I usually get blueberry cheese, mixes the flavors in a subtle, yet flavorful combination. I also enjoy their fruit popsicles. The mango, strawberry kiwi, blackberry popsicles are refreshing, especially on a hot day. Came in and it looked so clean and nice there was a line but the employees were getting through customers so quickly and efficiently. I ordered a Mangoneada, the lady that was helping said what flavor..... Let's all scream for ice cream! This place is amazing and it's like an ice cream shop on steroids. They not only sell ice cream, but they have smoothies, juices, bionicos, and salty snacks. I ordered a double scoop order of cucumber chili lime and mazapan ice cream. The clerk who took my order was very nice and told me that I could sample the ice cream. They have a lot of flavors not seen in other stores like rum, tequila, Ferrero Rocher, tamarind, and others. You can make your own sundae with many flavors and toppings. I'm happy the clerk was patient with me because with so many flavors it's hard to choose from. The store is clean and there's tables with chairs to enjoy your treats. The inside of the shop is big and there's restrooms available. On the left side corner is where you can order the drinks and on the corner is all the paletas.
