Been to a couple other La Michoacana and this is the biggest one with the largest variety of treats/desserts offered. It's a nice place to hang out too. Love the fresh fruit/veggie drinks, paletas, and various water and dairy based tropical fruit (ie. Guayaba, maracuya) and nut flavored ice creams (Ie. Nuez). HOWEVER, i think they would get a lot more customers if they could have a menu explaining what goes into an Esquite, Papas, Raspados, Mangoneado, Esquimales, etc. I would definitely try some of them if knew what toppings I could ask for/omit! I used to come here months ago for the guava raspado and LOVED them because you can taste it was made from REAL fruit. I can in today, all the way from Hollywood and ordered one. It was brown in color so I was a bit confused and when I tasted it ... it tasted nothing like guava, it had more of a jellylike tamarind taste to it. They assured me it was guava and offered for me to get something else. So I opted to get the passion fruit one and the pored GLOBS of this jelly like substance that resembled passion fruit. The food was okay, we ordered ice cream. We ordered 3 smalls which are 7.50 each. We got one that was the cajeta, another pitaya and fresa, last one was watermelon and guava. We also got a lime palleta. Service was okay we got an older lady that seemed another when we asked for samples and not the friendliest. The employee who helped us, Patricia, had a very negative attitude and didn't seem interested in being there. As a manager, I would expect much better customer service. Her demeanor made us feel unwelcome, and it really affected our visit. Had a craving for something sweet after dinner and was pleasantly surprised to discover this in the plaza right next to Aldi market. This place has so many options to satisfy a sweet tooth, including fruit bars, mango ads, and ice cream. They even offer hot dogs and pizza. We decided on a couple of ice cream scoops. Only one lady here is genuinely kind and actually seems to enjoy doing her job. She's welcoming, patient, and makes the experience pleasant. Unfortunately, there is another employee who does the complete opposite. She consistently gives attitude, comes off annoyed when you order, and makes you feel rushed--almost like she's brushing you away. She is also extremely stingy with the condiments, barely giving any at all, which just adds to the poor service. Overall, the inconsistency in customer service really affects the experience. Avoid coming here at all cost. Came here well over an hour before closing. I told them what I wanted and they complained that that they had already cleaned the machine basically telling me to get something else. I apologized for essentially making her work which is what she's there for but told her that that's what my friend was craving and she's pregnant so that's what I wanted. This is a heaven on earth!!! It's so refreshing to walk into this place, not only because everything is freshly made but because you can smell the cleanliness! Staff is kind and helpful. The only dilemma I have here that drives me crazy is that I never know what to get, I want everything! I go for the smallest sizes in what I order that way I can order more than one thing lol. They have delicious, thirst quenching aguas frescas, all the frozen paletas de agua and leche you can imagine! Tons of ice cream flavors and toppings. Came in and it looked so clean and nice there was a line but the employees were getting through customers so quickly and efficiently. I ordered a double scoop order of cucumber chili lime and mazapan ice cream. The clerk who took my order was very nice and told me that I could sample the ice cream. They have a lot of flavors not seen in other stores like rum, tequila, Ferrero Rocher, tamarind, and others. You can make your own sundae with many flavors and toppings. I'm happy the clerk was patient with me because with so many flavors it's hard to choose from. The store is clean and there's tables with chairs to enjoy your treats. The inside of the shop is big and there's restrooms available. On the left side corner is where you can order the drinks and on the corner is all the paletas. If you've never tried this place.. you're NOT DOING IT RIGHT! I grew up eating paletas so I pretty much waited in anticipation for the grand opening of this locale! Since it was on my way home, I drove by today just to randomly check if it was finally open, and my face lit up to see that it is! Given that it was my very first time ever visiting one of their locations, I wasn't sure what to expect walking in. I felt lost at first but as I approached the counter, their employee Jasmin greeted me and was kind enough to walk me through the store. She offered to give me samples so of course I had to say yes! A few samples later, I finally decided on what I wanted and sat down at 1 of their many tables to eat my Summer treat. I thoroughly enjoyed the rich flavors of the milk-based ice creams, which I believe are prepared there.
