As always Las Palmitas locations are always consistently good. They have great prices. The portions are fantastic and the food and drinks are always great. I did notice this location was dirty. You can find parking behind the building and street parking in the front. When we arrived there was a line. It moved fast. Good customer service means fixing mistakes quickly and fairly, unfortunately, that's not what happened here. I've been coming to Las Palmitas for over 10 years, and on 9/12/25 I pre-ordered my lunch as usual, a torta de milanesa during my 1 hour lunch, but when I got home my order was wrong. I decided to call and there cashier, Susana, confirmed she entered it correctly, so the mistake came from the kitchen. When she checked with the manager on duty, Araceli, I was left on the line and then told that the manager said I had to drive back and return the torta I had already bitten into just to get the correct one. That makes no sense and wastes the customer's time. After 10 years of loyalty, I expected better. Management should rethink how they handle situations like this. Extremely disappointed. read more

I visited the Downey location to purchase some corn on the cob. The transaction was assisted by a short, stout (chubby) male employee. On that day, he was the only male staff member present, as the remaining staff were female. My mother had specified how she wanted her corn prepared. However, the employee disregarded her instructions and was observed laughing with the cashier. He made a comment that made my mom feel extremely offended. She felt sexually harassed by his comment. His words were, "si lo quiere duro, que venga y yo se lo doy duro". What type of employee comments with the rest of the females and laughs? He literally touched his front and said, "Yo se lo doy duro." I told my mom I'm going to tell him off. She said, "No, leave it like that. We come here often, and plus, they're not going to do anything." Your employee need to get proper training that such comment it is considered sexual harassment. read more

I love this place. Everything is so fresh. The fruit is cut when you order it so it taste delicious. The tortas are loaded with meat and cheese. They have different types so if you like chicken beef ham or a veggie torta, it's made to order.
