Thank goodness we've got a real frozen yogurt place in town after years of having something that fell miles short in the same category. The place is spotless and well-staffed. The owner is present and attentive. It's not serve yourself, which I know is a bummer for some folks. But after having personally viewed the onslaught of local wolves disguised as schoolchildren remorselessly attacking the dispensing machines at the old yogurt place, I can understand why control had to be given back to the employees. I came in tonight excited, one of the lovely ladies working there, Lilly was incredibly kind, helpful, efferent and was excited to greet people and talk to them. The was one small tiny incident where I forgot to get one of the ice creams I had purchased. So I called, lily picked up and gave me a whole new pint. This place is not somewhere to go. The service here is horrible, and the workers are really rude. The frozen yogurt isn't even that good. It's overpriced and comes with a horrible attitude while being served. The ambience of this place isn't great. We ordered 3 yogurts and they only gave us two of the three. We payed for 3, this place is ridiculous, we called the place to ask them if we could get our 3rd ice cream we payed for and they said "no you can't" and to never come back. This is ridiculous, my 72 year old grandmother is upset because she doesn't have her yogurt. This place is unbelievable and the worker who looked to be 15 and was incredibly stupid. This place is the best! Before Golden Spoon opened, there was a place the same but 1000% worse. When Golden Spoon opened we came almost daily every day starting at the first time they ever opened with the kindest and best employees in the world. Right when you walk in you smell that amazing smell of these places but after a second you notice it smells way better and fancier. Just stepping foot in feels amazing every time. The food is the best I had in my life. I first got the small and it was a foot tall, like it was actually a foot tall. The taste was like nothing I ever had before, and trust me, I love these places, I went to tons in my life and this is the best I ever had. Wow !! Finally frozen yogurt that taste good, clean, reasonably priced w fresh topping and served quickly by young professionals who smile and are attentive. I love that they serve you and it's not self serve. Come on, in what world is it a good idea to have 100 people (kids) come in and touch candy and ice cream and expect them not to eat it or do gross things with it. Its one of main reason I hated frozen yogurt shops in the past the other main reason was the taste. Golden spoon address both those issues. The only two suggestions I would make is to add more fruit flavor options ( strawberry was the only flavor when I was there ) unless you count coconut which is nut and to offer a size In between mini and regular. My son says that is stupid suggestion because I can just not eat all of the regular or ask them not fill it all the way plus the price difference is just a $1.5 . he said they had a small but neither of us actually saw it when we were there. The staff here is very friendly! What's interesting here is you don't get to make your own froyo, you order it Chipotle/Subway style and they make it for you. The pricing is very good! You pay for 4oz, 8oz, etc. amount of yogurt, and then for 2, 4, etc. scoops of toppings, instead of having your froyo weighed. I paid around $8, whereas Yogurtland or Menchie's probably would've cost $12-15 for the same amount of yogurt. Definitely recommend! read more
