Everyone goes out of their way to meet the needs of the client while keeping is touch with family and respecting their input. I would like to give a big thank you to Nadine who assisted us with this difficult process. She took care of everything for us, including the arduous process of navigating the insurance company The second person, and probably the most important one is Ruth. She is amazing with our dad. She goes above and beyond with her care and compassion and makes him feel comfortable and valued. Ruth constantly puts in the extra effort and her hard work is genuinely appreciated.

She goes the extra mile to assist me in becoming alive again after the loss of my husband of 64 years and my vastly limited body mobility. She takes me to doctors and health service appointments, takes notes of what I might miss and makes sure I understand what I need to do to participate in my wellness. She has taken to do "projects" with me- housekeeping chores like kitchen reorganization for bettering my access to cooking tools and dishes a project at a time. She is making me love my home again, to love being alive and stop cursing my disabilities. Another above and beyond person is Jane, a staff nurse who has become a dear friend. She and Elianna both have found me in critical condition and called 911 when I was so altered in consciousness I didn't know how close I was to crashing. The office staff is always available when I need them and I haven't received less than quality care given in friendly, efficient manner. I feel safe with Comfort Keepers.

My son is on the Spectrum and I receive services through regional center for respite care for him,…read moreand this company is the approved service. The first person they sent the first time my son ever had care was a self medicating diabetic who came to the job with low sugar and passed out. Paramedics had to be called. When I called them to say what happened they said they didn't even have emergency contacts for her on file. It took over a year for them to find another person who could come one day a week after school. I specified any day. But they never had anyone. When they did, she was great. After 2 months she said she couldn't come anymore. Another year goes by and they finally find someone. At this pointu sin was too thin due to ARFID issues. I explained to her we needed to get weight on him. I was taking a college class and when I would get home he'd be asleep and exhausted. Next day he said his legs and arms hurt. The next week I set up a nanny cam since I wouldn't be home. She was having my son do planks and other calisthenics!!!! She did t even ask if this was okay. I had her removed fromu son's care. Another year goes by and I finally find a friend of the family. So she jumos through their hoops for bothering process. Took her a month of CPR class. Orientation, etc none of which was paid. Then she starts watching son, I sign the timecards and 2 months later she has NEVER been paid!?? We have been back and forth and they keep giving excuses as to why they haven't paid her, trying to blame her and the regional center saying things I was able to prove as untrue. This is probably what happened to the other great lady that suddenly couldn't come. We kept calling and every week for 6 weeks we were told she'd be paid and then wasn't. So now she won't want my son because she hasn't been paid. This company is a joke! I don't even want to give 1 star. Shame on them for not paying their care providers.

Our elderly parents needed physical therapist and a registered nurses to come to our place for IV fluid and physical therapy with a licensed physical therapist and also a care taker. Livingstone is the most wonderful home health agency. All of their nurses are extremely well trained and very caring. Their skill level in medication infusion, IV fluid, wound care and complex dressing changes and explanations on medications and physical activities were better than any other professional nurses and therapists that we encountered before. Their professional demeanor was real and deeply caring. I have to admit that our elderly parents were saved many times due to these deeply caring professionals from the Livingstone Home Health Agency. If we have any questions or concerns they always answer the questions immediately. Many times we actually got a call from the president of the company. I strongly and highly recommend this agency without any reservations. I give them five stars. We all have dealt with this agency for over twenty years and they are the best place for our family's home health care needs. If you ever need them, please call them and ask to speak to any of their helpful staffs. They are wonderful people.

Where can I possibly begin?! This organization was highly recommended to me by a senior health…read morecare agency. And I am so grateful they did. After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I am forever grateful for them.
