Amanda was my piercer, and currently I believe she is the only person that does piercings here. She was extremely professional, educated, experienced, clean, and kind. She told me she has been doing what she's been doing for 20 years. She was very thorough, and made my piercing experience tolerable. I had my daith and conch pierced. I will not lie, it was painful, but it was fast and totally worth it. My youngest came with me, and really enjoyed Amanda's office. She had a ton of gaming figures, and he really enjoyed looking at all of them. He was so well-behaved Amanda gave him some treats as well. I'm mentioning this part in case you're a mother or father with young children, because well-behaved kids are able to stay in the piercing room with you. Overall, I can't really say anything negative except that it's more pricier than going to a store at the mall, obviously. This is a professional tattoo and piercing studio where they use a needle instead of a piercing gun. Way more cleaner and way more professional. I booked an appointment that night and went back two days later to get it. My artist was Sam. He made the process super fast and easy and I seriously didn't feel any pain. For those wondering about pricing, I'm sure it varies, but mine cost $75 (I got "opportunities." in typewriter font on my left arm and it's about 5 in. long), which I think is a pretty good deal. He proceeded to draw what he wanted which was a deviation from the design I presented. My tattoo is out of proportion and I hate it. I am remiss for not having spoken up. I should have insisted my design be transferred instead of allowing the freehand drawing. I have never left a tattoo shop (12 separate tattoos) without my new tattoo being covered, this tattoo shop handed me a paper towel! This is my fault and the purpose of this post is to warn others. I have no idea what it costs to have this removed but it is coming off.

For context, I've slept on fresh ear piercings before, they were not (and still are not) flat backed, and I do just fine. Based on the website I expected around $110 before tax for some CZ studs and a device piercing to the lobes. The studs I wanted are advertised online as $60 per pair but in store were $80. The associate tried to upsell me to needle piercing and mentioned needle jewelry has flat backs for comfort and with device piercings, I'll need to twist my jewelry daily while it heals. I understand those points but I'm 1: an adult capable of twisting my jewelry (kids may struggle with this one, I get it) 2: a nurse myself who understands clean hands while I touch my jewelry (again, where kids may struggle) and 3: a woman who has multiple other ear piercings all with butterfly backs. She seemed a little put off when I was firm on the device piercing route. Didn't really bother me, I understand upselling is probably part of her job. The nurse was nice, procedure easy and quick. At checkout I noticed a $20 charge for the cleaning solution that they gave me in an "aftercare bag." I suppose I could have asked them to remove it and I'd have picked up a solution on my own but honestly, I didn't want the hassle of explaining myself and I didn't want to seem rude or be judged/reprimanded. It would have been nice to be asked if I wanted the solution rather than handing it to me and tacking it on my bill. After it was all said and done I spent $180 on two earlobe piercings. The jewelry is quality, the store is clean and bright, the employees are very sweet (the only deviation was when I declined to upgrade to a needle piercing), and I love the look of the piercings but $180 for second holes is quite ridiculous in my humble opinion.

When I went back they told me tht was normal. Both of my arms are sleeved as is a portion of my back and this is not normal. They offered to fix it but I passed. Tht person has since left and some of the other tats I've seen look pretty good. All about giving them another chance but you sure hate to hear the artist go OOPS! Always check out their work before you commit to yourself and ask if you can watch them doing some work. Usually up to the current customer but at least ask. It's too late once it's done.
