I always come here and get my nails done with max pedicure with whoever is available. Recently I came with a person who is a "new" manager that use to be here once or twice a week now he is here daily and he overcharged me $17 and did not want to refund anything max said he charged me $40 for my nails and the lady said she charged me $25 for pedicure making my total $65 he charged me $82. It's sad that they make a mistake when charging and they refuse to give a refund. This makes me upset because aside from what I pay I gave $15 dollars tip between the both people who provided me with my service. read more

WORST nail salon ive ever been to, and i get my nails done biweekly! My nail tech closed on my days off so i chose to go here because it was closest to my house. All i needed was a pedicure a fill and mani pedi for my niece. Immediately they took us in (there was 3 ladys ahead of us but they took us anyway) we were gonna choose our nail color and they all started shouting out that i needed to get the fill first and then i can choose the color. I asked for regular polish since again i get my nails done regularly but the women went off about how it wasnt gonna last and then pretty much used gel polish because supposedly they only had limited colors and they had more gel colors. I also found out the woman chose the nail color for my niece because the color she chose was too "mature". This woman was also trying to force us to get my niece gel, let her know due to medical conditions she couldnt go under the lighy but she went off for a few more minutes that she was little and was gonna ruin them at school. (Again not an issue we get our nails done biweekly as a treat so) back to me. So after she did my fill she asked if she can add some stickers to my nails told her i wasnt into the stickers she had they werent very much my style but she proceeded to add them to my ring finger. Said it was "cute" and didnt remove them. She then attempted to put some holographic rainbow sticker over a baby pink and it looked REALLY BAD!! i immediately asked her to remove it because obviously i didnt want it. A woman who looked as if she was her supervisor came and started talking to her and she pretty much got in trouble from what it looked like i couldnt understand them. Anyway she finished my nails and i noticed that after all the "work" she did she didnt remove my cuticles or actually "fill" my new growth. It looked like she just polished my nails!!!! I thought i was crazy but the very next day at work my coworker asked why i changed the color that I HAD!!! Anyway so then came toe time and at this time im FED up just want it to be over. The lady takes out a DRILL and mind you i get my toes fone often so theyre in good condition i just needed to get cleaned and polished. She cut my nails very short without asking, filed until my toe nails were "smooth" but really all she did was damage Them and thin them out. Then she kept stabbing me (btw i got cut and stabed a few times toes and finger nails) and then again they were trying to force me to get gel which i refused and the lady got very upset about. There was no massage, she slapped a bunch of oil and my legs then wiped it with a towel and refused to let me sit for 5 mi utes for my polish to dry. (Its beena week and my polish is all chipped off). Now the most annoying part. So im not confrontational so i was like whatever i just wont come back here just pay and go right. So i asked the lady for the checks MINE AND MY NIECES! Which shes a little girl so i would assume they would have common sense that i would be the one to pay for her. NOPE! they brought my checks which seemed oddly cheap for what we got, i asked the lady if that was the actual amount and they reassured me that that was it. I still tipped them because i felt bad they kept getting in trouble (Now back to medical restrictions, my niece can't walk on her own very well so she always needs assistance) i went to go grab her and proceeded to walk out. I started hearing everyone yell out hey she didnt pay she didnt pay stop her, stop , call the police etc... I ofcourse did not think they were talking to me because you know i PAID!! Theres a bwnch right outaide3of their door and since they didnt let our polish dry i sat my niece there and myself because i didnt want our polish to mess up and a lady comes out yelling at us for not paying, i told her i paid and shes like yea but she didn't she needs to pay me i was like BRUH! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! I was like shesa little girl. Isnt it common sense to you that the adult here would pay, dont yell at a child first and not a special needs child. I asked her why she didnt speak up when i asked about the check being oddly a small amount and she said she thought SHE THOUGHT!! THAT THE LITTLE GIRL WAS GONNA PAY FOR HER SELF!! Not only was it the most painful nail experience, they rushed us out, half assed their services but they added the cherry on top and mistreated us. This is a review solely based on my personal experience. I went to get my nails done there because I was visiting a friend. It was packed, so I wrongly assumed they were good. I am not one to think much about spending on myself.. More so when it's quality. But, to be charged $35 for grotesquely thick, small when I asked for medium, under filed on the sides and filed excessively to an idiotic short length nails? At first I walked in, to see how long I needed to wait. A girl in the back shakes her head, I understand, she was eating her lunch. Then I was asked to seat at station 3. This guy hurt my nails taking them off with no care whatsoever.. I protested but he continue trying, and failing. (wsh now I wish I hadn't taken off.. My worn down nails looked better than the end result.) My nails were so hurt, that it was almost burning once the acrylic touch them.. I was told it's because "It's creating a stronger bond" no.. Just no. He was sloppy, careless and rushed. I was burnt on several occasions by his motorized nail filer. The nails were cut semi medium length, and then filed to a way shorter length than requested. Yes, I paid and gave a tip $37 total. .in the end that was his absolute best that he could give and perform and I always pay for what's done. It was just a disappointment and a $37 dollar lesson. I guess my standards have been raised from other nails salons I have been a cross California. Se la Vie! I usually have spent from $75 to $100 plus $20 for an exceptional job that to me resembles artwork. I took my complaint to the manager, all he did was to file a chip of acrylic that looked like it was bitten off because this was just an awful job. I also asked him if he had a most requested artist for nails.. He said yes. When I come back. I seriously doubt it. This place is well located, has a lot of stations and if it charged according to service provided it would do well. And one customer review doesn't make an impact, but seriously.. To add insult to injury, I get up to wash the filed down (if you can say that) acrylic dust and I caught the girls who at the beginning declined to do my nails because she was on lunch... Laughing alongside her customer. I held eye contact through the mirror and she said "sorry, I was staring at your ass" all I said was "good" and walked back to the station. I don't mind being stared at, laughed at or anything.. In the end that behavior speaks volumes of the person(s) character, manners and professionalism than it does of me. I will probably not be returning to L.A. Nails Spa in this lifetime. read more

Only reason I'm giving them a star is because I have to in order to put a review in. First of all, the second guy in charge has no professional way to run the place. Second of all, he is very rude. You don't just go talking shit to the customer if you want them coming back! Freaken Asian guy, don't you know it's because of the customers that you have a job! Third of all, they charged me $3 to just remove my regular nail polish color. If they would of told me from the beginning that they were going to charge me for that, I would of just removed it at home! It got to the point where my entire foot had to be put into anesthesia. I was told I had a severe infection all around my nail it was difficult to even walk or make any sudden movement. The last three times that I went here were the absolute WORST. These people are so concerned with money. They could care less that they are doing a good job. This is my last time coming here. I asked my nail tech to do coffin shaped nails. Every single one of my nails are a different shape. The job was rushed and the acrylic was applied really thin. and he used different nails than the ones that they normally use. I went home that day because I was tired and had been up for a few hours. When I got home I called them and told them that I was not happy with my nails and I wanted them fixed. I just got here today and talked to the guy at the front desk. He is hell bent on having the same guy that messed my nails up fix them and I don't want him to touch me. I hated the costumer service experience. The lady who did my manicure kept offering me things I didn't want, and suggesting colors that I didn't like, even after I had chosen the one I wanted. I had also told her I wanted my nails square, but she kept telling me that round would be better, that pink would be better. I also asked if she could cut my cuticle a lil bit more, but she said no and kept laughing with her partner after showing him my nails.
