I get my eyebrows done here every time !! She does me really good. One time I went to go do my eyebrows at another place then I came back here and she was explaining to me that they did my eyebrows wrong that the arch was gone and they took more hair off in one eyebrow she was literally showing me, so she fixed it and told me to come back in a week from there I KNEW TO COME here for my eyebrows I LOVE HER ! 0 stars. Their hours state they open at 9:30, I arrived around 9:35 and they're closed. I call and they say they don't open until 10:30..so I wait until 10:30, no one shows up, salon is still closed, I call the same number at least 5 times and no one is picking up all of a sudden. Can't speak on the service, but the management seems horrible. Don't waste your time. read more

I made it back, I had a bunch of life events preventing me from coming to this side of town. I love tiger! He never fails with the vision you gave. I just let him do his thing with his own twist. I also Had a pedicure time and I feel so bad that I forgot her name but she did an amazing job turning these dogs into puppies. Now I have more time I can come back more frequently. I love the whole team and I'm very great full for them! read more

This is a great spot! I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure with just a few minutes notice. It's clean (they make you take your temp and use hand sanitizer and masks with Covid times) and airy. It was 50 for the gel manicure and regular pedicure, pretty average I'd say. read more

If I could leave less than one star I would. Terrible job, extremely rude when I told them they were hurting me their response was "no pain no gain" On top of that I told them I needed a mani-pedi. Did my pedicure while the manicurist was sitting in the back room doing nothing. When I got done with my feet and asked about my manicure he told me he didn't have time he was too busy.... I was the only person in the shop. read more

Omg I've been searching for a great nail place and I'm so happy I finally found one! The whole staff is so nice they do such a great job. They take their time to make sure you get the best service and quality. Usually nail shops rush to finish your nails so they can go to another customer and that's when they do a crappy job. This is the only place my girl or get her nails done considering that she moved from Malibu and that this is a place in Highland Park right by our house is funny to me because it shows it doesn't matter where you're located the people are who matter I even got a couple pedicures here myself and I was more than skeptical at first because I had never gotten one before but honestly after getting one or two done it's the most relaxing thing you can do and I don't care about my ego honestly it's a foot massage isn't it? Ask for Tiger, I haven't had my nails done from someone else so this review is solely based on his work. Awesome nail tech, call before you walk in to avoid waiting. He pays close attention to detail but could improve in the area of not leaving old visible nail polish with a fill or new color. Example: I had a deep burgundy color when I went in for a fill a month ago and decided to go with a light color, as I was inspecting my nails closely, I was able to see some traces of burgundy in the corners and sides of some nails, his nail polish applicatiom could also use some improvement. The best local nail salon ! Ask for tiger he never fails you and tries to make your nails look perfect ! The only reason why I don't give it a 5 star is because their prices went up tooo much ! I used to pay 32$ for a full set with gel and now I pay 42... also there's a lady (she's the shortest of them all who wears her wedges with socks) who does not know how to do either pedicures nor nails she messed my big toe nail and my full set ! Other than that place is my to go place ! read more

From the moment I walked in, the customer service was terrible. No one greeted me. The first thing…read morethey said to me was, "What do you want?" in a rude tone. I showed them a reference photo and clearly said I wanted exactly that design because I know some salons say they can't do certain shapes or colors. Instead of being helpful, they immediately responded, "We can't do it exactly. We do similar," with an unprofessional attitude. Throughout the appointment, the technician kept pulling and jerking my hands instead of handling them gently, which made the whole experience very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the nail work itself was horrible. The design looked nothing like the reference photo, the shape was unflattering, and the overall quality was disappointing. I came back the same day because I genuinely didn't like the result, but they refused to fix it, saying it was "too soon." I paid for a professional service and received poor customer service, poor workmanship, and zero willingness to make things right. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon.

This final time, I called and asked for an appointment time when the nail tech was actually open and available. I stressed the fact that I could not wait. They assured me she would be available. I show up at said time, and was asked to wait next to booth where she was working. I can see she was still working on a full set. The owner then told me she was just polishing, even though I could see she was not ready to polish yet. I was asked to wait. She then tried to get someone else to do my nails. But I am very picky, so I knew this would be a bad idea. I ended up leaving before I wasted another 30 minutes of my life. Overall, they do a decent job. But if you are in a time crunch and make appointments expecting to be seen on time, expect to be disappointed. This is not good place for people who value appointment times and being on time.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.
