I called asking if they could do full sets of acrylic with nail art. They said yes. They were…read morewrong. Jay did my nails, at least that's the name on his cart of supplies. He started measure gel x tips and I had to remind him we were doing acrylic. He should have said that he cannot do acrylic because, he cannot do acrylic. It was some of the worst acrylic application I have ever seen in my life. Sloppy, lazy, trash. I should have got up after seeing his acrylic application on my first hand. That's my fault. When he was done filing I asked if he could even out the nails because they were lumpy. He proceeded to make the shape even worse and still lumpy. I asked if I should wash my hands after filing (every shop I have ever gone to in my life has told me to) and he said no. I should have stopped him here too. It took him an hour and a half just to put the acrylic on. At this point I realized he was either talentless or purposely messy my nails up. So I skipped the nail art I asked for and asked just for plain gel polish on top. At the end I told the lady at the front that I hated my nails and showed her and she understood and told me I could come back and have someone else fix them. Initially I accepted the offer but I have since canceled the appointment. I would rather die than trust this shop ever again. If I could give Jay 0 stars I would. Beware, this guy is horrible.

I have gone to other nail salons in Atlantic Square and there is a MASSIVE difference in care and quality at Dean's. I don't mind paying more for a CLEAN and responsible nail salon. I've been coming here for at least two years and bringing people here with me and I always get compliments. Felt confident enough to even get my wedding nails done here. 20/10 cannot recommend this place enough. Even appointment making is a breeze, they will try their best to accommodate walk in's but they stay booked and busy. Don't hesitate, make an appointment and see how well they treat you!

My daughter showed him the inspiration picture before he started, and the final result looked nothing like what she requested. The design was missing several major details, including the white sculpted accents, the flower, the gold embellishments, and the overall quality of the pattern. We came to an agreement were charged $80 for a set that didn't resemble the inspiration. What disappointed me even more was the customer service. When I politely asked if they could fix the nails, I was told they couldn't do anything because my daughter was a last-minute addition and that I would have to wait for my regular nail technician to return. If they weren't able to recreate the design, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of accepting the service and charging full price. As a loyal customer, I expected much better communication and customer service. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope management addresses both the quality of the work and how loyal customers are treated. that Kristy was gonna fix her nails. She also told me that before I came into the appointment that I needed to talk to the owner of the company so I was kind of surprised so I called the guy and he was saying oh cause you're still complaining and I don't know what so she doesn't wanna talk to you which is fine. I've had experiences at other salons where being on a time crunch affects the quality of the work, but that wasn't the case with her at all. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and somehow got everything looking so good without making the service feel rushed. I didn't catch the name of the technician who did my pedicure, but she did a good job as well. Everyone worked together to accommodate me, which I really appreciated. I'm already a regular here because of their great color selection, solid pricing, and amazing staff, but Sam especially deserves the recognition for this set. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the job and even more so with how open she was to do any and all designs if I wanted any. Other places I've been too have told me a flat out no to such request but not here. Even more surprised after seeing the acrylic and gel still intact and on my nail. Very clean environment.
