very irritated this was not what i wanted the nail color is such a light pink and it throws me off just looking at it. waste of $70.

I came in to get my acrylics removed thinking they were going to soak them off, clean, and file them as I have had my nails removed once in this location. But the lady had other plans. She grabbed a nail tip bent it and started to pull the nails off, I asked politely if she can please take them off another way since she was hurting me she replied with "I know what I am doing" when she came to the third nail she ripped half of my real nail. At this point I was in so much pain and she had already cut my thumb before so I asked her once again to please stop I told her I will pay but to please stop touching my nails as she already broke half of it she told me to calm down because apparently she knew what she was doing I quickly got up, asked her for the price, paid, then left in pain. Never am I coming to place again!

Their service and their patience the way they shaped the nails and then they be wanting to take their time

Mae lady sits at first booth by mirror. Be careful this place will steal your money. I walked in for a basic pedicure $17, acrylic soak off $7and fresh overlay$/coating $15.00 My pedicure was fine. Waited 35 mins for the next nail person. I was charged $52.00 for this.. I can guaranteed I was overcharged for the services mostly because of my skin tone. Ben the manager on site made a smirky remark on the total cost of work. "It's the cheapest". Then tried to charge me $12.00 for colored acrylic. After making me pay first the lady did not put clear polish, no oil. Nothing. Did not complete my services. Discrimination of pricing, lacks respect when communicating with customers. I would not spend my money here anymore.

First and last time. Worst manicure i ever had . She just lazy to even fix it. Never agin

BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT GO AND WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I waited longer in the waiting area than I was sat to get both my pedicure AND manicure done. When I told them he tried adding other amenities to what was done to me when the lady hardly touched me. Definitely not returning and rather pay someone $10 more and get 10x better service.

White is fading to grey, clear nail polish is chipping off at 4 days from the day I got them done

Only reason I'm giving them one star is because they fit me in immediately. I went 4 days ago to get a fill, I had glitter nail polish and the man who attended me didn't want to take it off. He just wanted to add this mocha powder to the end and make it an ombré. WAS NOT CUTE. After I told him I didn't like it and wanted my old color removed he kept arguing back with me that he didn't take off powder glitter and his colleagues kept telling me that it was glitter powder. I argued back that it was gel nail polish. Eventually he gave in and I opted for this French ombré. The amount of pain he caused to my cuticles and edges to my finger tips was over the top. The powder set over my cuticles in some fingers . I kept mentioning that he was hurting me and kept saying sorry, and squeezing my fingers every time he did. I asked for a almond shape nail and he said this was the correct shape. ITS NOT. The pedicure was just as bad and terrible quality old lady would do the same when I told her it hurt, she would squeeze the affected area. Honestly only reason I came here was because my mother loves this place BUT nini is her go to girl. She wanted a girls day and I was in her neck of the woods so I said why not. At this point it's not worth the drive to get my money back. But I will say this it was cheap. What I would normally pay 80-100 bucks I paid 59 for both painful treatments. Not sanitary either my regular salon sanitizes instruments per person and this place reuses after a client. I asked for a clean instrument set pissed him off more lol

Got fungus on my nail. Noticed this because my acrylics were starting to lift only 5 days after my fill, looked at my pinky and it was green. Come to find out it's a fungal infection, which I have never had and got it on my second visit to this nail shop. Will not step foot into this place again.

Max is one of the best nail technicians I've experienced in my life. I have been going to him for years. I drive all the way from Sherman Oaks just for him and it's worth it. He's a magician when it comes to fills, and he takes his time to construct a perfect full set. Ladies, ask for Max! Your nails will last! You won't need to worry about getting another fill for a really long time and your nails will still look good enough for constant compliments. He normally has a bit of a wait, but that just means he's really good! Always, always go where there's a line because there's a reason for it. FYI he's off on Mondays, so if you aren't local, just make the trip another day. Also, for pedicures, ask for LeeLee. She will take all the extra skin from around your toenails and you're guaranteed to drop 10 lbs. of toe skin. For eyebrows, go to Helen! She will make you look like Beyoncé! Also, I know everyone normally reads these reviews for prices. Just understand that where I live in Sherman Oaks, for a pedicure and a fill would cost me $80+. However, whenever I make my way down to LA and have Max and LeeLee grace me with their magical skills, I never pay more than $60 for everything. And that's with gel! That's a bomb Beyoncé worthy fill by Max and a stunning pedicure from LeeLee with gel! No more than $60! This is a great price for QUALITY!

KENT is the only one I go to for nails ! He always do my nails how I want. When I show him a pic of how I would like my nails he always makes them look exactly the same or even better. Every time I go there's girls ahead of me but he is worth the wait!

Don't knock all of them with these bad reviews. Kent has been my nail guy a little over 10years. I've had this set 3 weeks now not one broken nail. I'm very rough with my nails by the way. My nail beds are small and acrylics alway lift easy because not enough hold. But Kent never fails me. Time for a fill! read more

This place is pretty good. Generic prices. $24 gel pedi. I usually go to Independent nail techs Bc nail salons suck ass usually. But you can tell that they are kinda tryna do modern nails. I got this set for $50, they are beautiful!! I love them so much and he shaped them very nicely BUT ehh a little over priced I feel; but John is a very nice guy and he is good at what he does! I will be coming back. Thank you John! read more

Horrible place. They rush you thru and get mad if you dont want gel polish. The pedicure took less than 10 mins and the lady didnt even clean the nail. She got mad because I asked her to clean and file. She then painted my toes but didnt use clear polish after. Just horrible. Good location but bad quality. read more

I went here a few days ago and I was helped immediately, when I was in the middle of getting my nails done a regular came and started complaining to the guy because he was attending me. He did my nails in a hurry and they are SOOO UGLY! 2 days later the nails are peeling and they are so crooked. Don't go here not worth it. read more

Don't waste your time! Poor customer service. Unsanitary. Lazy nail techs. No social skills whatsoever. My nail tech did not introduce herself, dropped her color samples everywhere, used the gloves that she touched my feet with to scoop out the sugar scrub and burned my cuticles. Also, she wet my pants when she rinsed off the contaminated sugar scrub. I will definitely be sure to not return to this place ever. This place is a lawsuit and staph infection waiting to happen. I will never let a coworker recommend another place to me. read more

I am very upset! First of all they don't not listen. When I walked in i specifically told them and me and my sister wanted natural acrylic only! Not gel, no design, and no mf charms. And not to mention the fact that they made me pay AHEAD of time. They processed to constantly talk my little sister into getting a design after the fact we told them that we only were planning to spend 85 for all three of us. I even told them one more time before then even painted the nails that we want the $25 natural ones yet still went behind my back and painted my sisters nails with gel nd designs. Basically they did nothing I asked for and ended up paying $135 for sum rushed ass shit. read more

If I could leave a 0 star I would. Horrible service!! The two times I've been there, nothing but horrible service . I wish I would had taken a picture of my nails. He did them in a rush as if there was a lot of people waiting. The second time I went, he messed up while one of the nails was drying and he got mad at me!!! He rolled his eyes. I was to stunned to speak out. The only reason I went there was because it was the closest to my house and I was attended right away. DONT RECOMMEND! Go somewhere else ladies!!! read more

The color was not exactly what I wanted but it was still a cute rose gel color .The far right is what I wanted and the first 2 is what I got .They last about 2 weeks I wished the nail tech would of cut around the cuticles and made my fingers smooth but that didn't happen I went in Saturday night and I was let in very quick , no wait time .I paid 37 if you ask me the price is a bit high. But I did get gel on top and it makes a difference . read more

If I could give zero stars I WOULD. This was my first time doing my nails here and NEVER again will I go or recommend anyone to come here! I had told the lady I wanted metallic nails and I specifically showed her an image of how I wanted them and she said she could do them like that. To top it off not only did she messed up the coating but they were nothing like what I had showed her. I was so mad that I was not going to leave a tip at all , but the guy in the register charged me tip without even me wanting to. I've been going to this place since high school and I can honestly say they've always done a decent job with acrylics. I've never had a set that I hated and I've had a few sets that I loved ! I definitely found my go to guy and that's Henry ! He always does my nails perfectly and they last me up too 4 weeks maybe even more but I always go in for a fill. I've had sets done by other people and their work is okay but I'd much rather just wait for someone who I know does a good job. Price is a little high but if they last a long time it's honestly worth it. read more

I got a spa pedicure and a full set. The price is very affordable, that's because they don't do it correctly. I got my nails done in the afternoon and when I got home, and inspected my nails, I realized how thin, fragile, and sharp my acrylics were. I had to be careful with every movement not to scratch or break my nails. Unfortunately, my full set broke at night as I was pulling my hair tie. I saw other acrylic nails while I was getting my nails done and they all looked very nice. I will be going back tomorrow to see how they can fix my nails. read more

I will give la nails spa on central and slauson 0 stars. The 1 is there for posting purposes. I'm a very un-satisfied customer with this location. I had such a terrible experience that there was no way possible That there wouldn't be a post about this experience. When I went to pay I let the front desk manager "jake" know that I wasn't happy with the service. I let him view my nails to show him why.. And he didn't see anything wrong. There were cuticles on my nail bed and it looked sloppy. I let him know that I was un-satisfied as a paying customer and told him that the charge wasn't worth the service.. He raised his voice at me. I was upset because all I wanted was for the problem to be fixed. I could have done a better job. The response I received from jake was appalling coming from a businessman. He "bet" me that I wouldn't be able to do a better job and asked me if, "I had $7,000 in rent to pay". All these people care about is your money they don't care to fix a simple problem.. This could have been avoided. "AFTER" is the five min it took me to fix la nails spa's sloppy work. read more

Came here to get my acrylics removed and get a gel manicure. I was greeted as soon as I stepped through. I came in on a Saturday around 5pm so this place was full. I was seated within 30secs! This place is horrible! The man in this picture is so RUDEE!!! I went to get a pedicure with my boyfriend and i then asked him politely if i can get a pedicure and a acrylics aswell and he yelled at me infront of customers and "what the hell why didn't you say that when i asked you what service you want" and he then grAbbed me by my arm and literally pulled me to go sit at the chair he was adjusting me to ! First and last time ever coming here. I initially went in to get a full set of acrylics, but the owner convinced me to get gel nails instead (more expensive). I mentioned that I needed my nails to last and he assured me that the gel nails were way better. I got my nails on Friday AFTERNOON and by Sunday morning they were coming off from the sides. Worst nail shop in L.A dont go there they are so unsanitary the clippers they use they are not sterilize all they do when they are done is wash it on the same dirty water u have ur feet in and ready for the next customer, also the prices are not what they advertise for pedicure they have it for $12 regular wich is what I got and they charge me $15 no gel regular and for fill they have it for $15 they charge me $20 regular color no gel so they are ripping u off they also have a really bad additud and they leave ur nails looking horrible . read more

Got a pedicure today and the lady was very rough on me. I almost felt as if she was going to remove my whole toe nail. I have 3 bleeding toe nails but one toe is the worst, hopefully I don't catch an infection. I had never had this issue here but this lady who did my nails was way too rough. Seriously, I was in pain and still am. I feel that my toes are going to be swollen tomorrow and I won't be able to wear shoes. read more

Now I Knew this place had low reviews but I found a guy who I really like how he did my nails. I have been coming here for a couple of months I start right before covid. Anyway the shop is not clean and they don't sanitize between ppl there was a customer with no mask on and they were servicing her. What really made me Mad was I was waiting for Max the nail tech and he told me he had two ppl I'm front of me. I waited and waited the. He takes another person but I didn't say anything I was just going to come Back another day but as I was walking out Max decided he was going to say something to me about the Fact that he had two more customers and that he told me I needed to wait I still didn't say anything but ok he says if you don't like it then whatever. What??? Wait??? You got me #%^* I spending my money and I'm not being rude why are you? I'm sure I can find someone else to Do my nail like tomorrow read more

Horrible experience!! Came here bc it's close to work and needed a quick manicure. The place is not sanitary. I was seated right away & my manicurist was rude. She removed my gel nails and hurt me several times. Worse experience I've ever had at a nail salon. She was rushing through everything and cut too much skin so my fingers hurt. She kept looking up to see how many people were waiting. Never coming here again!!!!! Horrible customer service, cheap nail polish that peels off the next day and bad job! read more

Really wish I could give this place no star. I read one review saying you get what you pay for and i couldnt agree more. Came in for a manicure and basically just got a color change. They used the drill to take off my previous gel color which nail salons i go to that are in better neighborhoods never do because its not good for your nails. Lady cut me and cut my cuticles dry, no cuticle remover nothing. There's still dead skin on my nails right now that ive hd for weeks that the lady didnt even touch. My manicure in total no exaggeration took 7 minutes. A good manicure takes about 20-30 minutes so when she started applying polish i knew this was going to be a mickey mouse job. When i walked in btw the girl was layed in the chair on her phone curled up and when she saw she had to do some work she got an attitude. oh btw, there was still someone else's skin in the cuticle cutter she used!!! literally disgusting. its sad that people around here have no other choice but to deal with terrible nail salons like these. read more

Horrible. I came in and they wanted my money, that's for sure. They told me there was one person before me so I decided to wait. An hour went by and I started looking around for my nail technician Karen. I asked the guy in the front if the girl doing a special design at the back of the shop was Karen and he tells me, "yes." I asked him why did he not tell me that Karen was going to be a while instead of having me wait so long. He claimed he didn't know she was doing a design.....yet he just confirmed to me that this woman was she. But now he says he didn't know???? I left upset! My time is valuable and they should be honest. If a technician requested will be longer than two hours, they should tell you!! I'm never coming back. read more

As a first timer, my experience was horrible. I have so many cuts around every single toe especially the big toes. I have really bad burning sensation. I kept telling the lady and she's just continue while saying sorry. The fact that I was charged to remove my old gel, 10$ paid $10 for acrylic I kept telling the worker I DID NOT WANT she forced me to get the scrub that was another $5. Idk how my toes came out to be 55$ but was not worth it. Will not be coming back. Stay away. Took 2 hours to do my toes. read more

Worst Nail Spa ever. I sat down and the Lady just cut my nails and cut a little on my big toe. Was done in 5 minutes and started painting my nails. I told her that was way too fast and she ignored me and continued. Didnt even bother cleaning up the color on the sides, one of my toes was ruined. Super disapointed. Will never be coming back here. I Will be telling all my Friends to not come here. They just rush you out the door. read more

It's always bugged me because it defeats the purpose: I go in for a massage to work on my neck, but I tweak my neck by virtue of their set-up. Lots of much less expensive Thai massage places either have beds with a head holder or a pillow with a similar design. I really think Raven should do the same. There....bone to pick expressed! That isn't to downplay all the positive: a great place, but I do hope attn is paid to my one nit to pick.

The owner alleging in their response that they honored my request for therapist is clearly a lie because I definitely remember not requesting anyone specifically and thinking during the time of my massage that was a huge mistake. And no I cannot forget that horrible smell which is etched in my brain forever.

It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

OMG, child let me tell you about my experience at this shop. This shop its a No, NO!!!! Okay!! Well, I was running some errands around the neighborhood and I was already planing to go get my nails done. So, I looked at previous Yelp reviews and its seem like a lot of ppl like this shop. So, I decided to go try them out. I walked in and the guy in the very front "J" asked me what I was going to get done. I said pedi and full set, so he recommended me with this guy that was plain rude "MAX" I think that's the name he told me. He has like a ugly rat/pony tail and faded purple hair. Man, oh man, he was plain rude since the begging to the end. I holler at "J" telling him "Hey, your worker is rude" he said in a joking manner "Slap, him baby" I'm like "hahaha, NO,RUDE" after that you know typical Vietnamese workers they start to speak their language about you. I don't recommend this guy name "MAX" if you planning to go there. I heard "J" is the best at nails. When I asked him if he can do my nails instead, he said that's why I'm here to point fingers to who's available and explain to ppl because of the language barrier. hhmmm, okay!? What does that have to do with what I'm asking you, anywayz RUDE!!! And,that was that!!! But, it doesn't end there. I went in with my 6mo baby in a stroller and my sister-in-law. Well, while I was busy getting my feet and nails done. This Crazy lady [worker], came to say hi to my baby. Unstrapped her from her stroller [I was like WTF "oh hell no she didn't"} Ok well, this freak didn't even ask for permission or anything. She just basically assumed that I was ok with the whole thing. NO, I wasn't okay with that SHIT!! Well, when she took my baby out the stroller and started playing with her in the couch I was looking at my sis-in-law. Like what the heck!!! Well,after my sis told her "You are lucky she aint my child, because I would have knocked you out for grabbing my child without permission to do so. The lady then asked who's baby was it and she looked at me and just smiled and just walked away with my baby to the back! I was in shocked that this lady had done that. I didn't react at the time and since this other workers were doing my nails and feet I couldn't run to take her away from her. But, my sis did!!!! I said out loud, what the fuck is this place. That right there is like ppl steal children. I didn't feel safe at all!!! J heard me say that out loud and he didn't even fucken do shit. This aint cool. Fuck you LA NAILS your nails came out all crooked and I got charged $40, tips HELL NO!!! P.S. Not all workers have their license to work there. I wonder if State board knows about this!!! Today I went to LA Nails Spa wanted to get my eyelashes done. I go there faithfully and spend $180 almost $200 and I tip whoever is doing my nails and etc .... The eyelashes tech Ms. Helen said that I can't record my eyelashes being done . I put my phone in a angle to were you can't see her before she said something . I explain that I normally record that's how I make my money off of YouTube channel and I recorded before and it wasn't a problem they said it was ok . So Helen said no I can't and I need to leave . So I walked out without no problem The moral of the story is that I don't like how Helen was being rude to me from the start and I explain to her what I was doing it for which was YouTube that's how I make my money and living It's unacceptable and I will not be going back there no more and I can keep my $200 and take it somewhere else. read more

Absolutely horrible experience at LA Nail. The staff was rude and completely rushed through my service like they couldn't care less. My nails were uneven, messy, and the polish started chipping the very next day. The salon wasn't clean, and the tools didn't look properly sanitized. I left feeling frustrated and ripped off.
