Food was okay. Service could be improved. Communication between staff and customers needs to happen from the start. We ordered drinks - we started sipping on our drinks and they tasted like pure sugar and lime juice. We were later notified that they did NOT have alcohol. Unsure of the reasoning behind this. The waitress stated, "We don't have alcohol, we just have agave like wine concentrate that we are using." Thankfully, they were able to remove from our checks. We got salsa and chips and drinks, placed our order, I ordered a burrito enchilada combination chicken. My husband ordered tacos. We did get our food relatively quickly. However, my burrito was beef and the waiter said my enchilada was coming. It never came. Food was OK but we had to wait for our check and then we only got our check because we went up to the staff sitting up front not doing anything, and asked for our check. We won't go back. read more

Chips and salsa were good, queso was okay but too thin. The taco was just okay, a little greasy and no salsa--not worth the price. The enchilada was good and the rice was really fluffy and tasty. Finally, a decent Mexican restaurant in our area! I do enjoy Salsa's, but this place is so much better. The place is nice and clean, the atmosphere is always fun, the service is decent, and the food is delicious! I absolutely love the steak and chicken tacos. The pollo Loco is also fantastic! The only thing stopping me from giving it a full 5 stars is the bland salsa and the awful alcoholic drinks. The margaritas are just your usual nasty mix and the cocktails were VERY light on the alcohol. All in all, I give it 4 stars and have been eating there for lunch the last few weekends. I think I found my new Mexican restaurant home. read more

We got seated at a booth that was so small, my 6'1" son count fit his legs under table. Food was not good, no flavor. Service was insane, they forgotten our drinks. They ran out of rum and gave us a Virgin strawberry daiquiri instead of just telling us when it was ordered. They brought premade guacamole instead of what we asked for (the table side made.) overall was a very unpleasant experience. My husband and I have eaten here three times in three weeks and I swear the food gets better every time. Drinks are amazing and staff is courteous and kind. This was the worst Mexican restaurant I've been to since moving back to the area two years ago. Am I Mexican? No, but I have lived in three of the four border states and have traveled to Mexico twice for no other reason than lunch so I do know good food when I get it. This was abysmally bad food that would still have been too expensive had the price been half what I paid. At these ridiculously high prices I expect my cheese enchiladas to have something better than white processed American cheese and more than just a tiny smidgen of it as well. read more

Well first my margarita was unacceptable. I asked the server if It was made fresh or was a pre mix used. He didn't understand. I asked for manager. She said it was pre mix so she took it away. I ordered a Chimichanga. Was so looking forward to it as in the area I've yet to find a good one. Well, it came and it was just a burrito. No sauce on top with a side of rice, beans and lettuce. Now the literal meaning of chimichangas is a fried burrito. Which is what I was expecting. I didn't bother to say anything, which is unlike me because I believe they need to know. If you go here and get a server named Marisol, leave or ask for a different server. I don't know if Marisol is racist against white people, but sure seems that way! Food isn't even good enough to put up with this kind of service and since there is now a Mexican restaurant on every corner around here now, I would just suggest skipping this one all together. Telling a customer (guest) that a taco that is ordered isn't a taco starts the entire experience off badly. But then to just be blatantly rude, neglecting to give drink refills, then vanishing with a customers credit card for 40 minutes is just sketchy to the hilt! This "business" NEEDS to be shut down expeditiously!! They are treating their employees like slaves!! These waitresses are only getting paid $2/hr. They see no card tips at times because this "business" withholds them and gives their employees no solid LEGAL reason for it. I've spoken with employees that have been there since the opening of this restaurant and have informed me time and time again how much money this business owes them because of some "theft" that occurred when this business first got up and running here at the Mishawaka, IN location. The "bosses" claim big mounts of money were being stolen by managers and assistant managers. From what my sources tell me these former managers/people that committed these crimes didn't just steal/rob money from this business but they were stealing and CASHING ALL waiters checks illegally. Not only were they stealing employees checks but they were withholding ALL TIPS from them. My sources claim they went MONTHS without getting paid to this date they still have not seen NON of that money they worked so hard for. PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS INFORMATION OUT ASAP. These workers are getting exploited because they are people that need a job and can't afford to lose one and the "bosses" know this. Worst food we have ever had at a restaurant! It was so bad! Chips and salsa I had a marg on the rocks, mind you I hadn't eaten all day, so on an empty stomach, there was no alcohol in my drink and it was a mix. We then get our meals and there was ALOT of food. We took our 1st bite and knew we were in trouble. My husband ordered Mahi Mahi fish tacos. Ended up being 1 piece of fried fish cut into 3 sections for his 3 tacos. The refried beans were awful!!! They had a red tint to them so it looked as though they had mixed refried beans with a tomato paste. We did not complain, left a 20% tip, but will not be back nor recommend this place to anyone read more

You will be taking home another meal worth. Prices were acceptable. Three meals and alcohol drinks still came in at $100. Servers were prompt. I would give zero if I could. Horrible service and food was disgusting. Waiter got both of our orders wrong and brought us queso with a hair in it. Waiter never came to refill our drinks and the music was so loud, we couldn't get out fast enough. The Best thing about the place is the Beautiful...Our server was asked for 2 thots of Tequila. After 10 min, she brought them. My Daughter and I drank them. To my surprise, is went down easy, (I am in no way a Tequila drinker!) She came by again, I asked her what kind of Tequila it was at which she answered House Agave. I asked her if I could see the bottle, below is the bottle she poured our "Tequila" shots from...Triple Sec is NOT Tequila! then we ordered and she slowly over 2 HOURS brought the plates everyone had ordered except my 9 year old Nieces plate. The Server played Hide and Seek for another hour and then brought out a petrified piece of meat that they called "Ribeye". My Niece had already shared with us and we asked for the check. The Server went to the computer and was having alot of trouble and had flagged down 3 different people to assist her. At this point, we were OVER our visit and wanted to pay for the "Less than bland dinner" and leave. It took another 30-45 min to get our check and then another 15 min to get it corrected for the correct items we received. Will Never go there again. read more
