We saw this taco spot and figured we'd give it a shot. We ordered the blackened shrimp tacos and garlic butter scallop tacos, served with chips and mango salsa, and both were incredible. We're from Southern California and have had our fair share of seafood tacos -- these were some of the best! The chowder had great flavor and the mocha iced coffee hit the spot too. This has been a family-owned restaurant for years. Currently, it's owned and run by the next generation (a group of three brothers) in the family. Service was fast and friendly and the food is excellent. My go to over the years has always been the Kitchen Sink - it has everything on it, and is possibly the best combination pizza ever. One random note is that my wife loved the ranch dressing. They make it in house and it's tasty and the perfect consistency. They also serve delicious Filipino food (my parents used to go here all the time), sub sandwiches, appetizers and specials like kimchi fried rice. Pizza Mill has been and will continue to be one of my must-eats while in Ketchikan. Definitely, go check it out!

The only bright spot was the Quesabirrias which we liked. Unfortunately though all 6 of us said we would never go back and we were sad we wasted a meal here.

The interior of the restaurant is very casual and homely. You order at the counter and food is delivered to your table if you are dining in. I looked under the soup menu and tried the beef goto which was a good choice. It is a Filipino version of congee with beef tripe in it. Just what I was looking for to sooth my stomach and warm me up as it was a bit chilly. If you are looking for Asian food or an alternative to the many seafood restaurants in town, I would recommend this spot.

We added some chili sauce into ours which was very spicy but so good (mild gal). Wish we had a bigger order and would def get again with the chili sauce. Never had Shanghai before. I think I prefer a regular lumpia but the whole family loved it. I enjoyed the pancit, but the family just loved the noodle soup more.
