    We ate every last bite.

We didn't expect much because the decor is nothing to write home about :-) But the food was amazing. The sweet and sour spare ribs were tender and awesome, and they were served in a brown sauce that we were told is unique only to this restaurant and we ate every single last bit. My sister wants to lick the bowl it came in. I hate white rice but the sauce was so good I put some on the rice just so I could eat more of it. Highly recommend.

We flew up from Seattle today the first place we had to stop was Diaz for the Thursday BBQ pork special. We haven't been in town for several years, but the food and service was just as we remembered perfect

They have really good lumpias and the people are nice. Just a heads up they are a cash only establishment.

I happened to find this restaurant through recommendations amongst staff from the cruise ship!…read more I was feeling a lot of motion sickness from the rocking of the cruise ship so I summoned the rest of my strength to mosey down to this restaurant and ordered some wonton soup. I asked for extra ginger to help myself feel better and this wonton soup literally brought me back to life. I order a second one portion because it was that amazing; with every sip and bite of wonton I felt all that much better. The two ladies running the shop were extremely sweet and very nice. It's a cozy little restaurant with little snacks for sale and was quite busy with people zipping in and out. Truly one of my most memorable stops and finds on this amazing NCL cruise.

We only had an hour to explore Ketchikan before our cruise tour, so we wandered around a bit and…read morespotted a local Filipino restaurant. We love Filipino food, so of course we had to try it. We ordered the lumpia, pork asado, and cassava cake. We're really familiar with lumpia, so that was the first thing we dug into. It wasn't what I was used to, and was loaded with veggies, and the sauce was different too. It was a soy based sauce instead of the usual sweet chili. We tried to get the BBQ pork sticks, but it was too early. Total bummer. The employees were helpful, and fairly friendly, and it was a fun spot while in port. They had plenty of seating and a restroom (for customers). Even with the differences, it was a still a nice treat.
