This is the worst nail place I've ever been to and I've moved around the country a lot. First, I had an appointment at 6:15 for pink and white nails + a pedicure (requested woman only). I requested a woman technician because I've been here once before (male technician) with a poor experience but wanted to try this shop again. They did not even start on my nails until 6:50 and they were not that busy. Second, at 6:50 - a male technician came over to start my pedicure. My toe polish ended up being ok but it was the worst pedicure experience - no massage, rude technician, no respect for time. Third, ADA did my nails and was very rude, did not file my nails down, continued to say my nails were too short, and ultimately left my nails looking SO THICK AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I literally told her to STOP and that I would have to file and finish my nails at home because they were so incomplete. DO NOT GO HERE. Awful service. I will not be returning. I visited this salon today with my daughters, who are four and five years old, hoping it would become a place we could go together regularly. When we arrived, the technician assigned to do my nails asked me to sit in the back of the salon while my daughters had already been seated in the front. Given their ages, I asked if I could sit closer to them so we could stay together. From that point forward, the technician appeared irritated and her attitude noticeably changed. She handled my nails in a very rough manner, repeatedly yanking and pulling my hands while working. At one point she pressed the tool directly against my skin, which was painful. When I explained that I wanted my nails cut short to match two that had broken, she abruptly cut them down and left them uneven with old gel polish still on them. She then attempted to apply gel polish without filing, shaping, or completing the basic manicure preparation. When I asked if she planned to file and clean up the nails before applying the gel polish, she said she was just doing the polish. At that point, I chose to stop the service. She responded "okay," abruptly got up, walked away, and began mumbling under her breath. My nails were left unfinished, with cotton still attached from the removal process and old gel still partially on them. We paid and left to find another salon so I could at least get the manicure and gel polish I originally came in for... I do want to acknowledge that the technicians who worked with my daughters were kind and treated them well. However, due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the technician who began working on my nails, we will not return. We recently moved here from across the country, and at our previous nail salon I was a regular and brought my daughters with me every time. The staff there were always friendly and welcoming, and over time we even built friendships with them. I was hoping to find a place here that could become our new go-to spot, especially since this salon is very close to where we live. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I've been coming here off and on for 3 years & I have never had an issue. When I first started coming to this salon I started out with Lynn. She was amazing. Very good at technique. But she sadly moved out of state . I went in about a month and half ago & asked the owner to match me with someone like Lynn. & I met Nat. I have to re install yelp just to make this review it was so bad . I'm a very laid back 26 y/o . Whatever you do , do not get your nails done by Lexi . The first time I ever came to this nail salon , the lady did a great job . The second time I come back , they put me with a woman named Lexi . She immediately is rude to me , yanking at my hands , squeezing my fingers . I ask if something is wrong and she immediately says "yes! You are bothering me ! Sit still and stop moving your hand " and yanks on my hand again . This was after I had a long day at work , and began to cry appalogizing to this woman for whatever I did to bother her . Another one of the workers sees me crying and comes over and asks what's wrong and Lexi tells her I'm unhappy with my nails and that's why I'm crying and that she can no longer do them . The salon was clean. I was very disappointed in the service. My mother is elderly and easily confused, but needed a manicure. The check in was unclear. The nail tech, Nancy, was not friendly or communicative. She barely massaged/hot towel my mother's hands, did not ask what kind of nails she wanted, she disappeared and I had to ask for her to come back and fix one of my mom's nails. She left my mom at the station to move on to someone else and my mom's nails were not dry. She just never came back to check on her. We ended up just leaving. Also, the person at the next station had a child sitting in the seat for my mom's station when we first arrived. Took my grandma here for her first ever manicure. We keep it simple only getting the basic manicure with regular polish. I booked an appointment for 1pm, which didn't really seem to make a difference. We ended up in a chair by 1:20 or so. It was fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon. The place itself was very clean and the ladies who did both of our manicure were very quick and talented. Will never return to this salon. They used a metal drill to remove gel (no soaking at all) and drilled down my nails so thin that they were bending even after the gel application. My gel manicure chipped within 3 days and I had to pay for a new manicure elsewhere to try to mend the damage that was done here. They rushed through the service and kept getting the gel polish on the sides of my fingers. If you care for the health of your nails, do not try this salon. Sorry :/ read more

Very clean and accommodating! Made reservations for 5:15 on a Saturday but found ourselves a little early. They easily accommodated our early arrival and got us right into our pedicures. The shop itself is bright white and clean. Chairs seem brand new, the massage works quite well and reclines! Each tub is lined with plastic for extra protection. I would've loved to give five stars but the pedicure itself was a bit short. Before I knew it, we were totally done! Legs weren't touched at all, I think a few minute lower leg rub would've been the perfect touch for a complete pedicure. However, I left super relaxed and my toes look great! One of the male nail techs there ruined my natural nails. He drummeled them so thin I'm having to do a ton to strengthen them again. He was impatient and didn't want to wait for the paint to come off. Then when I asked for an ombré style paint (5 colors) he was so annoyed. I even joked I would tip him well. He rushed thru and there was a dinple I asked him to fix it and he was clearly exasperated about it. In the end my nails turned out horrible and ruined and I emailed them and never heard a response. I included pictures of my nails. There is a ton of uneven paint. Not cut straight and dimples on my ring finger. He didn't paint all the way to my cuticle and he left paint all over my fingers as you can see on my thumb. read more

My sisters and I were in town for a wedding and came here for 2 pedicures and a manicure. What a terrible experience. We paid $35 for a 12 minute pedicure and it was not at all relaxing. The techs were rushing like crazy. There was no leg or foot massage, my sisters chair massager wasn't working, and the tech nearly burnt my leg with the hot towel. Our feet only soaked in water for maybe 1 minute, so when they used the grater, it freaking hurt and made our feet worse after. In addition, they used electric tools to file down the tops of our nails first, which is so horrible for you nails. Barely any filing, etc. very disappointed. Recently just moved to Dayton and so I was on the hunt for a good nail salon. I was traumatized by the first salon I visited so I did not have high hopes coming into this. But I was so wrong! Minh did a great job on my nails. He was very gentle given that he was a well built man. Although I did wish he painted my nails closer to my cuticles but that's a very minor issue. He served me wine and made sure I felt relaxed . Appreciated the effort so much! Second visit, I had to wait for a very long time . I was told 20 minutes but quickly realized it was going to be a lot more than 20 mins. I tried not to be upset because I did not have an appointment and the place got real busy. The boss lady finally got around to me and gave me a beautiful gel manicure. She took it upon herself to comp the bill. She clearly felt bad and respected my time. I appreciate her for acknowledging that. The first salon I had mentioned above made me wait almost 2 hours to tell me the lady left for the day. And proceeded to ignore me. Terrible experience. The nail tech took off chunks of my skin left almost all of my fingers bleeding. I wanted to do do my natural nails and she said that i needed tips on them. My second visit to this nail salon and I requested a gel mani and pedi. I was put with Susan (I think this was her name) and she started my services. A few minutes in she pulls out what looks like a cheese grater which I have never had used on me before and within 2-3 pulls I draw back in pain. I told her it hurt and then we both noticed she cheese grated the skin off the side of my foot! I was upset since I was only there to obtain services for my husband Christmas party tomorrow which I also told her about. The wound left on my foot is exactly where the shoes I bought to wear tomorrow hit my foot. She did apologize and put some kind of medicine on it "to stop the bleeding" (didn't tell me exactly what it was when I asked) and then put a bandaid on it once it stopped bleeding. Needless to say I spent $105 to have a wound on my foot and now I am unable to wear the shoes I bought because it is quite painful. Service: Dip powder set with tips & Basic Pedicure Nail tech: Dan Date: May 2020 Pedi: They use New files, buffers, and bowl covers for every person. Everything is completely sanitized which is a huge plus because I'm very particular about going to nail salons that can do this. Dan did a great job with my pedi and made sure that the color and shape was even all around. He cleaned the edges to make sure that no nail polish was left over my skin. Toes came out great! Dip Powder Set: i had a picture of what i wanted and Dan did everything to make sure it came as close to the picture as possible. The shape of my nails was consistent throughout all my fingers and he made sure to clean around and under my nails! Not many places go the extra step to clean under and get all the gunk from the powder out, but he did!! When using a matte coat it is extremely easy to see all imperfections when the job isn't done right or it's done in a hurry. Dan seems to be a perfectionist because he made sure that the buffing and drilling was even so that the top could be perfect. I asked him for a small design which he hadn't done before but he nailed it! Overall I'm extremely pleased with the way my nails came out and the amount of attention to detail Dan had throughout the entire process. The Salon: Super cute and well organized. Everything has its own place and is taken care of. They offer drinks and are very attentive. Racist. I wish I could put a negative. Today was my second time here. The first time I got a pedi (it was decent) and acrylic. I noticed after I took the acrylic off that the woman who did it drilled entirely too deep into my nails, causing DEEP dents in them. I don't get my hands done often because of things like this and so far. It's been weeks and I'm still growing them back out from that because it was at the cuticle area that she did it. However, the pedicure was fine. The only reason I returned this time was for a pedicure. To make this longer story shorter... I picked a color, when the woman brought it out (still in the package), it didn't look at all like the color I had just picked and that I didn't want that (because it was literally not the same color) so she told me to pick a different one. She brought the nail sample colors to me and I picked a different one. She tested it on one mail and the color was fine do she did the first coat on all of them. After she started on the second coat for the first foot, she had me check it. I told her it was still see through, she said "yea"... I asked her was it going to stay that way, she said "yea". I said "well that won't work then. (Usually after the second coat of gel polish, you won't see through the color to the nail. On top of that, the color itself was very pigmented and shouldn't be see through). She took the color off and told me to go pick a color I like (which I'd technically already done the first two times but had no problem doing again because I wasn't trying to be difficult). As I was over there, she asked me to show her the new color I want, so I did. She said "I don't think it's a good color on you. Your skin is too black for the color and I don't think it will look good".... I didn't come for opinions, I came for a service. The color (green) itself was not even the problem in the first place. The first one she brought out was not what I picked and the second polish must have been old or she was putting the layers on too thin for it to still be see through. The COLOR and my color is not the problem at this point. I spoke to the owner to let him know I was leaving and she told him whatever she told him before I got a chance to speak with him. He still tried to get me to pay the full price (which I refused to do because I did not get a full service and for the obvious reason of the inappropriate comment she made). I told him I will pay for what was already done but it wasn't a full service so I'm not paying a "full price". He took 15% off. I paid and left. No apologies were given, he just tried to justify the color "not being right for me". read more

Natalie was extremely rude and nasty to me as a new customer, ridiculously unprofessional. I asked her to shape my nail a certain way and she was still filling off half my nail into whatever shape she wanted and I politely said "can you file less on that side please?" she yelled at me and said "Can you let me do it!" Then afterwards when it was time to dry my nail I accidentally bumped my hand on the dryer and the paint messed up on a couple of the nails, she literally sucked her teeth and said "shit!" She clearly has issues that are beyond me so I ignored her rudeness, but her behavior was completely ridiculous! Honestly, I loved how the polish turned out... mostly. I noticed that my guy was being super rough on my cuticles on my big toe. A day later, I discovered that my right big toe was infected. It hurt a little and was unpleasant to look at. However, my other foot was just fine! I just had to leave this place with wet feet. I went in the middle of the day on my day off to get a pedi and dip manicure. the lady who was going to do my nails had a child with her. she told me the polish I picked was very sheer and offered to find a darker one. once she came back with the polish (which also took her a long time with a child)she said I'll be right back. her and the little girl went to the back and I sat there and sat there. water got cold still didn't see her again. I finally dried my feet and went to the front put my shoes on. I told the front desk lady that I was leaving and still the woman had never came back out from the back. After working in the ER and my hands and feet being destroyed I figured it was time for me to pamper myself a little. I went in only going to get a simple mani pedi, after talking with staff we went another route. I ended up getting a classic pedicure with an ombré big toe and they turned out amazing! Nick who did my pedicure was wonderful. The leg and foot massage was just what I needed. I ended up getting a full ombré dip set on my nails. A few months ago I had this one guy at table 9 do my nails and he burned my fingers with the file, did a terrible rough job on my nails and then left the rest up to someone else cause he had to go pick up his kid from school. I knew he was going somewhere cause he was rushing. TODAY, my usual girl was out so I came in anyways and of course he was the person who tended to me. He once again BURNED ME, and did a messy rushed job on my nails. Then once again he left to pick up his son. I told him that these are my graduation nails and he still rushed through and did a messy job. I believed in second chances till TODAY.
