The grooming was good. Timing was flexible but price is steep. I have a 7 pound dog and the total cost is $100! Never paid that much for my own haircut.

We cannot say enough good things about this groomer. Our miniature schnauzer looks absolutely amazing--clean, sharp, and perfectly styled What makes this even more impressive is that our dog is not the easiest to work with. She's sweet, but stubborn, anxious, and definitely has opinions during grooming. Despite that, the groomer was incredibly patient, calm, and professional from start to finish. They clearly know how to work with difficult dogs and never rushed the process or compromised on quality.

    Freshly Groomed!

If you're looking for the best groomer in LA and Pasadena, look no further! We're long time customers and our pup loves being here. The customer service is fantastic and the results are always great.

Had to take her to get stitches to close the massive hole.

Update: the owner Fatih reached out to me and worked to resolve the issue and help with the vet bill. He seemed genuinely upset about this situation and worked to handle this professionally.

My Pomeranian is very anxious, and from the moment we started coming here, the groomers made her feel so comfortable and safe. They are incredibly patient, gentle, and truly care about her well-being. They do an amazing job with her haircut and she comes out looking adorable every single time. It means everything to me knowing she's in such good hands. Highly recommend to anyone with a nervous pup who needs extra love and care!

Fresh from LA Pet Home, Mimi glows--just like Karen Waleska's clean copywriting.

Mimi and I have been loyal to LA Pet Home for nearly two years now, and the magic hasn't faded away a bit. If anything, it's only grown. From day one, this team has treated Mimi like family. Every visit feels like a boutique spa day--tailored, thoughtful, and stress-free. She comes home not just looking fabulous but feeling calm and content, which, if you know my Mimi, is a small miracle in itself. What I appreciate most is how deeply the team listens. They don't just groom--they communicate, adapt, and genuinely care. It's a level of service that's rare these days. I always feel heard, and Mimi's comfort is clearly their top priority. To anyone reading reviews: take the time to talk to the team. They're skilled, kind, and committed--but no one's a mind reader. Clear, open communication goes a long way and makes the experience better for everyone--especially our pets. Thank you again, LA Pet Home, for making every visit feel like more than just an appointment. You've created something special, and it means the world to us. With appreciation, Karen Waleska & Mimi

    Milo's cut

I left Milo at LA Pet home for a little over 1 week as I traveled out of state. Milo had a great time and the owner was soooo friendly and patient with him. I asked for Milo to be groomed before pick up and he came out beautiful. Very clean Westie cut for the summer. He's an older dog so they made sure to be extra careful with him. Most definitely will keep bringing my dog back and I'm confident enough to continue traveling knowing my dog is in good hands.

Message telling me my dog is ready at 4:26pm after only having her 26 minutes.

I took my miniature bulldog here on 10/18 for a bath and nail trim. My appointment was very last minute because I had a groomer cancel on me. I was very appreciative of them accommodating my last minute appointment and they were very friendly. I booked 3 hours ahead online after speaking to them on the phone, I dropped my dog off at 4pm and she was ready at 4:26 pm. I found it odd she was only there for 26 minutes and they bathed, trimmed her nails, cleaned her ears, and did the anal glads. Upon picking her up she had a her upper claw nail wasn't trimmed and she was still shedding very bad which is why I scheduled her for a bath originally. Today is 10/22 and my dog is not acting herself. She's being aggressive and walking with her head tilted to the side while panting uncontrollably. I examined her and I found a piece of cotton shoved in her ear with blood and wax on it. However since it was so deep and swollen I couldn't remove it myself so 260$ vet bill later here I am with an infected and swollen ear. I really enjoyed the customer service but a 26 minute bath and claiming to do all of the things listed is impossible and this is a half ass job. Very very disappointed and enraged.

I am so pleased with the results of the LA Pet grooming service. Our Golden-doodle is prone to matting and has to get shaved when that happens. I am glad the master groomer in LA Pet was able to give our dog a beautiful cut with scissors. We've had issues in the past with our dog getting razor burns and much prefer the scissor method. I am happy with the service and would highly recommend it to you & my friends.

I imagined her making brownies, popcorn, having a BBQ and not turning off the grill afterwards. Carried away-then I remembered this is Molly, our favorite cat, and prepared to have someone else in our messy house. The manager "Mollie" was very organized. We, were very detailed. I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

He understands what works for different kinds of doggos and their personalities. He also is super nice, friendly, and helpful when you are working with him. You can tell he loves what he does. He knows why things work or don't work in dog training and why one trainer or place my recommend one thing vs why it might be different for your doggo. We have a large doggy named Milo and he kept nipping and jumping on people. Play biting and jumping for bigger dogs is difficult because we have older parents and his jumping and nipping could hurt them. We also have a newborn baby we were worried that our doggo would be rough with him since he kept rough playing, nipping/biting, and jumping on us. HOWEVER, with Alden's support we saw a sudden and quick decrease in our doggos behaviors. To all you dog owners out there looking for good and well-rounded training THIS IS THE GUY! Alden is very honest and even though we pushed for possibly doing boarding 2-week training he told us our doggo didn't need it and didn't want to push it on us. My wife and I really love working with him and hope to continue to have him there for our doggos life trainings! We recommend him 5-stars. Thanks Alden!

I am beyond grateful for David and the entire team for taking such incredible care of my girl. We first came to O.P. when I went from working remotely to a hybrid schedule and needed daycare three times a week. As a rescue, our dog was very fearful and had very little experience socializing with other dogs. We signed her up for the full training program, and David worked with me to make sure it fit into our schedule. He even met with us on weekends to answer questions, and we also got to work one-on-one with George, another one of their fabulous trainers. My dog absolutely loves going to "school" and has come such a long way in her obedience, confidence, and social skills. The difference in her has been incredible to watch. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful, and they all greet our dog by name. You can tell the people at O.P. genuinely love dogs and know what they're doing. This is not a staff of people who are just there to do a job. These are dedicated professionals who I wholeheartedly trust with the care and safety of my dog. In addition to training and daycare, I've also boarded my dog here. When I picked her up, she was freshly bathed, happy, and clearly very well taken care of. If you're looking for any of the services Obedience Please offers, I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are an exceptional team, and I feel incredibly lucky that we found them.

So I did some research and came across "Obedience, Please!" I was thrilled! I had been joking that, in honor of Taylor swift, we were going to do a "Life of a Showdog" film once I got her trained. So to find out Howie trained dogs for show biz back in the day?! What a dream. Being part boarder collie, the training was much more difficult than I had previously been hoping for on my own. Despite (and maybe because of) her incredible intelligence, she also has a tremendous amount of energy, and love to give. With my chronic condition it was just becoming too much. She's been in the program for seven weeks, has taken a huge liking to David and behaves beautifully with him. I'm nervous to have her on my own but she just graduated today and I am so much more confident! She listens like spring and she talks like June, my sweet baby angel. I've been singing to her "she's a maniac" but swapped it out with "brainiac" all afternoon: lovin' it. We have already been practicing the commands at home and plan to be diligent about continuing education. Thank you, David, for your hard work, determination and diligence with her training. You clearly care very much about this work and these dogs. Aphrodite has seen great improvement since I first dropped her off and I couldn't be more grateful. And Howie, thank you for carrying on this work for a lifetime and building such a valuable practice and team. I will always be impressed by you and your work. Sincerely, Montana
