I can't write enough good things about La Petite Nails with Sheryl! I purchased a groupon for a manicure and sugar scrub pedicure. She was very booked so I had to schedule an appointment long in advance. When driving to my appointment, I got caught in busy traffic and had to miss the appointment. She was so kind a rescheduled me and still honored my groupon after its expiration date. She took her time during the appointment (about 1 hour 45 minutes). I've tried twice now to get an appointment here and the owner had text back that she will call me after she finishes with her client. Never heard back from her. I originally found her on Groupon and I'm glad I didn't buy the deal first. I always like to make sure I can get an appointment before purchasing Groupon deals since a lot of places seem to give you the run around or lack luster service when you tell them you'd like to use a Groupon. Serious nail care. Scheryl is a one woman salon and will treat you like family. I started getting mani's a few yrs ago with my new daughter in love. Didn't know a thing about shellac/gel, whatever just wanted to bond with my girl. Needless to say, my nails took a beating my once beautiful healthy nails got brittle and thin. Scheryl is AMAZING!! I went in to redeem my Groupon I had bought and she was SO accommodating to fit me in before my tropical vacation and what's better than having fresh toes and hands when going on vacation!? She runs this place on her own and it's a very personal experience. This is not a typical salon that has half a dozen manicurists just doing your nails to "get it done" which I really loved. The sugar scrub she used for my pedicure was homemade and all natural. My toes and hands look AMAZING and I can't wait to come back. I recommend this salon if you are flexible and understanding. Scheryl is absolutely amazing! And when I say that I mean it! She is so personable and sweet and really does the best mani and pedi I have ever had! She takes the time to guide you on how to take care of your nails and toenails and since I first came to see her my nails are so much stronger and healthier!! They are lasting me 3 weeks at least which has never happened for me since I work with my hands! She has beautiful decor with a French theme and it's very relaxing and makes you feel like your sitting in Paris getting your nails done! The music and heated neck wrap make me feel like I could just take the most relaxing nap ever! Also, a side note to one of the reviews that are on here... I was the one In the seat about to get the pedicure when the lady came in and scheryl had accidentally booked us at the same time, which happens as we all have human errors! But this lady was absolutely RUDE to her and she nicely asked me if she could do her first and I would soak which I was happy to do. I don't know maybe it's just me but I don't go around being mean to people for something so minor. The lady also said something about the phone call from Groupon of many others complaining and I heard the same call as she had the phone on speaker and the lady totally LIED! It was a lady trying to book her own appointment as she had a GROUPON and scheryl said if she could text her the Groupon she purchased, her name and phone # that she would text her after she is done with her appointments. I don't like reading people trying to hurt others business with lies and this one I personally heard and feel as though it was wrong for her to do that so I felt obligated to share the truth! She is a disaster, completely unorganized, seems frazzled, her interaction (conversation) is very scrambled, difficult to contact, response time is poor, rude, VERY lacking in customer service, unprofessional and blatantly lied several times! My nails look great and she is knowledgeable about what she does, but it was disappointing to have my service interrupted by the manicurist taking a long phone call. However the situation with the call became absolutely unprofessional and honestly very uncomfortable when she began to discuss (with no absence of profanities) extremely personal things about an employee she had recently let go. Unpoofessional!!!! I purchased a Groupon for 2 mani/pedis for $70 total, great deal! I got in touch with Sheryl and told her I would like to meet her and set up an appointment. She was very nice and accommodating and told me to stop by anytime, I texted her when I would be stopping by. We spoke in person and I told her I had a Groupon for 2 mani/pedis. She proceeded to tell me how Groupon works and that she only gets half of the Groupon price and she only did it for the advertising. She then said that she would get in touch with me that day to set up my appointments, she never did!! I reached out to her again, figuring she was busy but after three more times, and no response I decided to write this review. I really wanted to check her out so that I could have a standing appointment every two weeks or so if I liked her. Guess she missed out on a continuous customer!!! A great experience! We had good conversation, she takes her time and cares about the work she is putting out there. HUGE for me is that she didn't make me feel weird for bringing my own products that are non-toxic and then found out that most everything she uses is non-toxic! She uses as much organic and natural products as possible! I will definitely be back! Went to Scheryl to help me with my nails and left a very happy camper! Had 2 round of acrylics, about 6 weeks earlier, from another place and wanted them off and back to my natural nails. My natural nails are pretty thin but we got the the acrylics off and were able to keep a decent length still and save my nail. She did a great job on them and was super nice and helpful educating me on how to keep my nails healthy. Got shellac and they look amazing. I am usually easy to please and I'm so Disappointed in the quality of service I received recently. Within a day, my shellac nails were chipping and within 3 days, polish was literally peeling in complete pieces. I've had shellac and gel done many times at other locations and usually can go weeks without any damage. I have three major events within the week of my appt and my nails didn't even last a day before my first event. Considering how much I spent for the services I received, I'm extremely disappointed in the poor quality of service and the rush that the owner did my nails in. Unacceptable! Scheryl is amazing! I bought a groupon and was somewhat hesitant to use it because she does not offer acrylics or the hot gel. I had used acrylics and then hot gel over my nails for 15+ years! She is restoring health to my real nails with a Shellac polish that does not destroy your nails...and no grinding them down. I can't say enough about La Petite nails. Seriously. I love the one on one, personable experience. And Scheryl (hope I spelled it right) is so AWESOME! She actually cares about her customers. She took her sweet time with me, and we tried out her new "dip powder". I don't know the correct term for it, but if you mention the dip powder I know she will know what you're talking about. We gave it a go because she just recently started using it... and it was great! I usually get acrylics. But I went in to her shop wanting shellac because I want healthy and natural nails and it's time to give my hands a little break. I came out with brand spankin' new dip powdered nails She was so careful and thorough in applying it, and she loves what she does so there was no rushing through just to get my dollars. My nails had a beautiful shiny color, and they dried right away and are so hard that when I tap my fingers on the table, it sounds like I have acrylics! It really is awesome. In my opinion, it's a lot more durable than shellac. I can't thank you enough, Scheryl! I had beautiful nails and toes for Easter Sunday. I know this review is long... but one more thing!!
