My first time did my pedi. Abby is great! Better than great. The second visit I did not see Abby. I won't mention the persons name. Don't want to be totally rude. Super disappointed. My big toe nail is cut like Gumby's head, sloped. I have two toe nails broken, one all the way down to the cuticle, one only partially painted and nail polish all over my cuticles! She used super glue to hold the toe nails back together. I commented there was nail polish al over my skin and she barely cleaned it off. $50.00! $50.00 for a pedi that will have to be corrected at another salon. Insane! At least the tools were sterile. However, I'm not sure about the sander that was on her Dremel. I think it was used. read more

Hate to give such a low rating but getting cut and poked for a basic nail trim during my gel pedicure was very uneasy.

This place was a perfect stop for me to stay away from the traffic on my way home from work. But last weekend , I got my French manicure fill as I always have and they overcharged me 65$. Tina the girl who did my nails couldn't even say why she charged that much and ended up try to fool me out that different kind of French. Before, I used to have the skinny tall girl did my nails and never be over 50$. Such a downgrade services and dishonest business. Definitely won't be back. read more

I read some good reviews but was very disappointed: 1.Bench seating not comfortable/no recliners. questionable clean pillows. 2.Hands/nails were not moistened in warm water prior to mani and the manicurist pulled/yanked at dry cuticles with clipper instrument 3.Employees child running incessantly through the salon/not relaxing. 4.Overcharged $10.00 for "cuticle sander" for less than one minute each foot ... 5.Basically hurried through entire service and was not thorough. nightmare! read more

I absolutely hate when places do this. I walked in and asked how much a fill would be--they told me $47. After my nails were done, they silently took my card and charged me $51 without saying a word. When I asked why it was more, they started speaking to each other in another language, and then someone else translated that I was charged more because I had a broken nail. I told them I didn't have a broken nail, and the other person just said, "Oh, I don't know why then." When I asked again, the tech just looked down, said "thank you," and walked away. Who does that? It's not about the $4 difference--it's about the dishonesty. Don't just tack on extra charges without saying anything. That's shady and unprofessional. I won't be coming back. read more

But after rudeness from the owner Vinny yesterday I will not return nor will I recommend. I had made a 3 pm mani/ pedi appointment to join 2 other friends. When I arrived, owner, Vinny told me I had booked it for the day before. I said there must be a misunderstanding bc I booked it alongside my 2 friends. I've gotten my nails done at this salon before at least 3 times now and overall, the experience has been poor. The first time I got my nails done at this salon was fine; there were some bubbles under my gel nails but it didn't feel like anything worth complaining about. This is the primary reason this review is two stars and not one - I can tell the owner and the workers are kind, but the service experience has been so poor for me. The second time, I got a gnarly infection on the side of/under one of my nails and used the instruction of my doctor to drain the pus and keep a compress / antibiotic on my finger to ensure that it doesn't get worse. Before the pus developed, my finger was red and very swollen/painful to the touch for a day. I didn't go back because it wasn't a convenient week to do so, and I was now worried that they weren't using clean instruments. The last time I went was the worst. I wanted to have my hard gel nail polish removed, and while the lady doing my nails was kind, she wasn't understanding me when I asked if she could remove the base with acetone rather than using a nail file. She kept pointing to my fingers throughout to show me she was removing it, but because the base was clear I could feel that there were areas she was leaving a thick layer of the hard gel on while the rest of the nail was clean. She placed cuticle oil on me when there was still a lot of hard gel on my nail, so I showed her what she missed and asked her again if she could just use acetone rather than the drill bit file. She went back to the drill bit file, and I felt pain as she was drilling my nails thinner and thinner. She did eventually get the hard gel base off, but she also took off a significant layer of my actual nails. I now have paper thin nails and can't use them for anything, and will need to avoid getting my nails done for a few months while they grow out as strong as they once were. It's now been two weeks since I removed my nails and I have to trim them right at the edge of my nail bed because they split and crack if I let them grow longer, or bend when they come into contact with anything. I used to pride myself on having long, strong, healthy nails and nail beds and I'm mostly writing this review after experiencing frustration with not being able to do simple things, like open my toothpaste, without my nails bending and being in pain. read more

Called for a next day appointment while in Carlsbad for vacation and had a really great experience. Holly did my "Nu Pedicure" and she did an amazing job. Took her time, used excellent products and my feet felt like butter afterward. Nice massage skills as well. Sophie did my dipping powder nails and also was very detailed oriented. She made sure to put oil on the cuticles and even gave a quick lotion hand massage after - this is not common at a lot of other nail shops when you do acrylic or a dip. In my slight panic of never finding a good nail salon in our new area of residence, I frantically kept Yelping until I was inspired to try Gel Touch. I was actually looking for an acrylic fill but Lee, convinced me over the phone that gel was much better. We got there a few minutes before our appointment and checked in. We were told they'd be ready for us in a few. Tick tock and nothing. 15 minutes later and we ask if they'd be able to take us soon.
