Concierge medicine has saved my husband's life…read more.. We have been seeing Dr Jordanides for about 2 1/2 years. My husband was very ill and coming from a nursing home that almost killed him. It was during this time we interviewed his PA (gosh we miss her so much) and his office manager, Brandon. The minute the nursing home doc came in and basically refused to give the correct medicine for his MRSA infection, Dr J's PA jumped up and corrected the nursing home doc. When the nursing home doc asked who she was; I said, our doctor! So that's how Dr J and his staff was hired. Dr J has answered my calls in the middle of the night when my hubby has been sick. He makes same day appointments. The appointments are an hour long. When caregiving for a spouse it can be difficult to care for yourself. I was so impressed with the care my husband received that I hired Dr J and his staff to help facilitate my health care. Thank you Brandon, Shelia, the new office gal (sorry I forget her name) and especially Dr J for your knowledge, patience, love and professionalism. I especially thank you for saving my husbands life! I was having so many issues with getting an extension from my GP so I thought I'd reach out to this office for help. They were on it and SO helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. I really appreciate their effort and aid which my GP office wasn't willing to do. When I was here last, they were running a bit behind, I had another Dr. appt to get to. The other doctor stepped in and saw me quickly . Even though it was a very quick appt , lots of questions were asked by the doctor and I got a lot of useful information. I went to my yearly visit months ago, she had neglected to order any type of testing beforehand so we just had a nice long chat about current events and she sent me to the lab the same day. That was a $90 visit, not a big deal. I did all the lab work and ultrasound, with very good insurance it still cost me $510, that was a lot but not her fault. SHE REFUSES TO READ THE TEST RESULTS. The test results came back what seemed to me irregular and I had questions. I had to threaten billing to even get a response from her office. Months have passed and dead silence. Finally they message me that if I want to talk to the dr about the results, I need to make another $90 appointment to see her. Now I'm pissed! He also handles Iron infusions for me, deals with specialty physicians, and has gotten me into a ortho when the best I could do was 2 months out. I was sent a different patients visit and test results after my first visit, not a start to inspire confidence. I only received part of my own lab work so goodness knows where the rest ended up. They promise to set up physical therapy and exercise regimens but there is no follow-up and nothing happens. Their doctors are supposed to be on call and available to concierge patients through phone and text but it is extremely difficult to get a call back, and the office staff seem to go out of their way to be unhelpful. Calls are not returned, information is not passed on to physicians, and the entire office seems confused. They refer to themselves as a concierge practice but essentially have no idea what that actually should be. Front office staff seem nice but follow up and response is awful. Doctors get impatient with patients because they are being told by office staff that information is being sent out when it actually isn't, and the doctors don't seem to have the time to follow up on anything. A concierge practice that keeps you waiting for two months for lab results, repeatedly telling you that the lab hasn't sent them over when you know very well that Quest diagnostics have results back in a couple of days. Office staff will also tell medical staff that results have been sent out and that patients are somehow mistaken, leading to extreme frustration at the patient level. Doctors seem knowledgeable but are clearly too rushed with too many patients and a very poorly trained support staff.
