Cannot recommend Advanced Vein Center enough if you have any veins you need taken care of. I was on a journey to correcting the veins and puffiness that was in my leg and I was really nervous to do so. I had been to a few clinics where I did not feel comfortable when having consultations done and I wish I would have started with Advanced. I swear I left a review for this place but can't find it. A lot of my reviews are missing, so I wanted to go ahead and leave one. They were friendly, professional and attentive here. Very nice, clean office. I had some veins injected a few years back and they did a great job. I'm a baby and it was a tiny bit uncomfortable but worth it. Dr. Wise talked with me the whole time so it made it easier. I wish I had gone back sooner because I have more issues now. I will be setting up an appointment in the near future. read more

I am so glad I came here! For as long as I can remember, I've struggled with prominent veins under my eyes. It's something that's always bothered me, and people have always pointed out. I've had previous consultations where offices would tell me that I could try lasers which ''might" improve them, but they'd still be there and there's a high risk for complications. The problem began in my teens when I started waitressing. Since then there hasn't been a time when I haven't had big ugly bulges popping out from behind my right knee. Until now, and we're talking nearly 40 years later. Over the years I've tried several treatments - sclerotherapy (many times) and more recently ambulatory phlebectomy. I've always had to pay out of pocket since Kaiser is useless for this sort of thing. Now, I don't mind paying if the the treatment helps, but it never has. Until now. I can finally wear skirts and shorts - something I haven't done in years because I didn't want to gross everyone out. You know what I'm talking about, I'm sure. You've seen the legs - right? I had the laser treatment. It hurt a little more than I thought, but hey, us girls sometimes have to deal with a little pain to look good. Unfortunately, of all the types to varicose veins to reoccur, my type is the most common (wouldn't ya know?). So, I'll go in every 6 months or so and have an ultrasound to see if it's starting up again. The veins are easy to take care of so long as they haven't popped out. Look into laser ablation at Advanced Vein Center if are experiencing problems. You will wonder why you waited so long. Dr. Bruce Hoyle of Advanced Vein Center did amazing work on my Laser Ablatıon procedures for treating my great saphenous vein incompetence. I was traveling within just six weeks of Dr. Hoyle performing the ablation. I was so excited and thankful my legs were no longer experiencing the swelling and pain. Since the procedure was completed in January, I have traveled numerous times with flights as long as 10 hours and I am happy to say the legs are doing well. Don't delay treatment because you're worried about invasive surgical procedures. EVA was not invasive, it left no scars, and it is generally complication-free and safe. Before the procedure I had swollen and oftentimes painful legs. I was often putting my legs up to alleviate the heaviness. One doctor, not a Phlebologist, informed me if I exercised enough the blood would flow back and it would alleviate the pain. No matter what I did I was unable to alleviate the heaviness for very long. The varicose veins and spider veins continued to increase and cause discomfort. I am so grateful for Dr. Hoyle, Jackie, Diane and his entire staff for their professionalism, guidance and support. The office is clean, easy to get to and has amazing underwater photos decorating the walls. I'm so glad I found Dr. Hoyle for my vein foam sclerotherapy treatment. I wanted to share my experience with you, dear Yelp Reviewer. After three treatments from late summer to early winter, I had about 75-80% of spider veins cleared from the foot through thigh area. I noticed that I NO LONGER had achy, fatigued legs when I went to the San Diego Zoo for three hours walking around the park. Usually, my legs would hurt after 20-30 minutes! Even worse was while--pregnant... maybe after two minutes I'd have to SIT down. Seriously. (I had my 4th--treatment--just today.) Does it hurt to have needles puncture your leg & foot skin? YES, of course. Some areas hurt more, others barely at all. Just clench your fists lol :) THIS STUFF IS WORTH IT. And, you can finally wear your jean shorts again without feeling self-conscious! He has convenient Saturday cosmetic consultation hours and Dr. Hoyle remembered me on my second visit, not common with many physicians. He is down to earth, thorough, but no sales pressure. This doctor clearly sees a majority of patients in a specific weight/age range. I suspect because I am not of those two categories of majority patients he sees that is why I felt looked over by the doctor. I expressed to the nurse bout having a vaginal veracious vein and discomfort but the doctor never even asked about it. I was embarrassed. I did not want to bring it up. I assumed the nurse made the call that it was not a big deal and the doctor only looked at my legs. I gave him some yoga advice (just banter really, but genuine nonetheless, but I highly doubt he took it. He was a bit brusque as I left the office, talking or shouting almost at me from his office behind reception like he's too busy to give me this young 30something patient the time of day. Even when I was trying to help (I am a certified yoga trainer). His office did recommend a different doctor for me that I requested -- which was nice! And his office staff were very professional and very friendly. The office was clean and had a lovely view. The fish pictures everywhere were a bit odd. I have suffered from varicose veins and have also dealt with chronic venous insufficiency for the past 6-7 years. I had previously undergone treatment from the Morrison Vein Institute in AZ which had been very successful in controlling my pain and discomfort through a series of EVLA procedures and injections. Since I no longer live in AZ, I had been searching for a suitable facility and doctor here in Orange County when I found Dr. Hoyle. From the initial consultation to my most recent EVLA procedure I was absolutely blown away by the service that Dr. Hoyle and his staff have provided. Previous procedures through Morrison Vein, while successful in their treatment, had been excruciatingly painful to the point where I routinely actually passed out. I mentioned this to Dr. Hoyle before undergoing my most recent procedure and he assured me that they would do their best to minimize such pain. Fast forward to the day of my EVLA and I was prescribed some pain and anti-anxiety medications to take two hours prior to the procedure which took the initial edge off. As Dr. Hoyle began to mark the areas for treatment that were identified via ultrasound in a prior visit I could only think about the pain I had endured in the past. I was not looking forward to the next half hour or so. What happened next was nothing short of amazing. As Dr. Hoyle began the procedure he used some local anesthetic where needed and I felt some light pressure a few times. Fifteen minutes or so later he was done. No pain. No fainting. I couldn't believe it. Fast forward to three weeks later and the procedure was completely successful, the pain and discomfort I had in my left leg is gone, and I can get back to life. If anyone is reading this and considering seeing Dr. Hoyle for treatment please do not hesitate to do so. He is an absolute master of his craft and could not get a higher recommendation from me. When my primary care physician recommended Dr. Bruce Hoyle and his Advanced Vein Center for treatment of varicose veins, I visited his website. His bio and that he lectures and teaches other physicians his leading-edge procedures are all impressive. His vein work is also impressive. He has performed three different procedures (at different times) on my various vein issues including EVLA (endovenous laser ablation), sclerotherapy and micro phlebectomy. Each procedure accomplished exactly what I had hoped. The office procedures were a "walk in the park." However, wearing the compression hose for a few days after the procedures is a PITA, but I understand why they are required for after-care. Here's a shout out to Jackie and Lisa, his office staff.
