Today, I had 12 items or less in my whole order. They shop 4 hours early for your groceries which makes it impossible to get any hot deli items, even if you schedule an afternoon delivery. I order delivery from Safeway once a month maybe once every 6-7 weeks and I always want some hot chicken tenders. Well chicken tenders aren't available until after 10 so I schedule my orders usually between 12 and 2. This day my order was scheduled for delivery between 12 and 1, and they started shopping at 8 am. My order was complete by 9 am. The shopper sent a message and said they didn't have "any" tenders today because there was a sale yesterday. I waited a bit and called and spoke to the deli, and they definitely had plenty of cold tenders in the deli case. Essentially my shopper lied to me. I then called back and spoke to the delivery department, and I believe it was the shopper that took the phone and she had surly attitude with me. Let me just say i had 12 items or less in my whole order. She said the orders are shopped for 4 house before delivery and I couldn't make any changes because the order was complete. Well then, why did you lie and say you didn't have something you had. She totally could have said we are out of the hot tenders but they have cold ones, would you like them? Nooooo, just we don't have any. The last delivery order I received was just as irritating. I ordered a sugar pie pumpkin for baking and picked the heritage pumpkin as a replacement in the event that the sugar pie pumpkin wasn't available, what did I get in my delivery? A big decorative pumpkin. Do the employees not speak to each other, are people afraid to ask a team member a question? The deli itself is an issue when you go in to get fresh deli meat and cheese. No one likes to handle the fresh meat and cheese area of the deli. From my experience it seems they always have a new person in the deli that has zero experience. When I ask for my meat and cheese to be sliced thin, I either get a sigh like I'm bothering them because they have to change the setting or they don't know how to change the slice setting because they ware new and were thrown to the wolves. I've had other customers around me that dread the same thing. I've met some fun people as we complain about the horrible service at the fresh deli section. I emailed corporate months ago and it did nothing. I had enough today and canceled my freshness for delivery, and i will be avoiding shopping there at all costs. I am always frustrated after shopping there or dealing with their delivery issue. My advice to anyone in the area is plan for some back up store or go in knowing it's is going to be a disappointment. Update: My order just arrived and apparently you pick substitutes for no good reason because they don't have the baby romaine I ordered so instead of going with my substitution request of green leaf lettuce, they brought me this old looking of wilted romaine so out to the chickens it goes.

Between my family, my son's family, and my daughter's family, we have purchased oysters here more than 40 times over the years. We usually buy oysters while we are staying in Ocean Shores and often pick up another order on our way home. Out of all those purchases, only one order was less than satisfactory. The oysters from that purchase were a little smelly and contained more sand than usual. During our most recent visit, I mentioned that experience to the staff. At the time, they were out of the larger oysters I normally buy. Instead of simply telling me they were unavailable, one of the staff members arranged for someone to harvest medium-sized oysters directly from the farm. The oysters were freshly harvested and packed right away. I was impressed by the extra effort they made to ensure we received a quality product. That experience showed me how much they value their customers and stand behind what they sell. Aside from that one disappointing purchase, the oysters have consistently been fresh, delicious, and high quality. Based on our family's experience over many years and more than 40 purchases, I would gladly recommend this business to anyone looking for fresh oysters and excellent customer service.

After they were rung up and I touched a few and they did not close, I was going to ask them about it buy my wife beat me to it. The clerk said they were fine. They were just "stressed". Pour some water on them and they will be good. She just made some. I was in a hurry and somehow, someway, let this ridiculous explanation prevail. Upon getting them home, over half are open and will not close when touched in any way. In other words, all dead. Don't be me and buy clams from these people. Best in Grays Harbor? Bahahaha.

This Supercenter seems a bit smaller than some of the other ones I have been to but I have also been to smaller models also so as far as size and variety goes it falls about in the middle. The Garden Center is quite a bit smaller than other store locations and therefore when it becomes a seasonal area for the holidays the selection there too is influenced. So all in all this store falls in the middle for most of all those things as far as my rating goes. I can say however whenever we are out in Aberdeen we usually are coming back from Westport, a favorite small town of ours to visit...we almost always swing by this Walmart on our drive to "powder our noses ".

It is located in the parking lot for the Grays Harbor Farmer's Market (a separate business entirely). It is mostly covered by tents and protected from the Harbor's wet weather which makes it easy to shop with no hassle parking. There's a nice variety of of both fruit and vegetables, much of it at prices that can't be beat anywhere else on the harbor. Some items are local, such as honey, blueberries and kale from Shaffner Farms. Much of the rest is WA grown such as Walla Walla sweets, apples and cherries (when in season). Produce changes seasonally which is what you get from local growers. Not everything is organic or GMO free so just ask if that's important to you. Happy (produce) hunting!

I just ran across their yelp listing when looking for their phone number. I was very surprised to read reviews about any political agenda (re: posts from around 2012). I encountered no such thing when I visited either time. If that would have happened I would have left. I remember one of the employees telling me about new owners, so I am guessing that whatever was going on before must have left with them. I will try to find out the next time I'm there. My experience was entirely positive. I had several questions about their items and they bent over backwards to help me find out the answers. I greatly appreciated that. I have very special food issues, so having a place like this is very helpful to me. Make a 45 minute drive to get here.
