Not that our room was terrible, it wasn't like the other Fairfield Inns I've stayed at previously. Google said this hotel was built in 2010 and it shows some wear and tear for sure. Check-in went ok. The girl at the desk wasn't overly friendly but that's ok. Our room was ok. Smaller than other Fairfields. Decor was "meh". Beds were comfy though. Shower was poor: pink mold on shower head, wall that the shower head was on was cracked in half and they slapped some caulk on it. Bathroom door was closed upon entering and when we opened it, we were overwhelmed with the smell of bleach. Mini fridge, microwave and small coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was good. "Egg McMuffins" sandwiches were a nice surprise. Other items included: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, cereal, etc. Coffee was good as well. We swam in the outdoor pool. It's a touch on the small side but that didn't bother us because we were the only ones there. Outdoor furniture was old. When we were checking out, they began testing the fire alarm, which was alarming for sure. No heads up with that. No employee checking us out either. Just left our keys on the desk. All in all, it was a decent stay.

I was then giving the wrong room. I reserved one of the suites and was giving a standard room. The front desk clerk refused to give the proper room without an up charge despite my reservation clearly showing the correct room. It took 3 hours on the phone with customer service and even further verbal abuse from the front desk clerk before I got the correct room. The customer service line was awful also and said it would take a week to open a case against the hotel... which was really helpful that night when I didn't have my room and was 8hrs from home. In addition to that the hotel smelled really horrible, a mixture of soured wet clothes and bad onions. They had air purifiers in all the hallways that were not helping. I asked at the front and was giving a bottle of air freshener and told good luck... all around a pretty terrible experience and absolutely no help from the hotel itself or Wyndham. We spent 2 years living here, so we experienced a bit…read more The GOOD: Decent property. Amazing front desk and maintenance staff. The BAD: NOT family friendly. Bad water well. Bad electrical meters. Not tailored for long-term residents. Gate never works. Price increase with no increase in amenities. Differential pricing for who they want. No actual wifi. The UGLY: They fired Agnes, an older woman who cared so much for the residents and the park. She did her job well. She fielded our complaints and defended management but was let go when new management came. When Hurricane Beryl hit, we were without power and water for 10 days. Park management did NOTHING to support us within those days. A fallen tree and power line blocked the only entrance/exit. Long-term residents tried to remove it, but we were scolded via email for touching a tree that could have a live wire. The email seemed to be sent for liability purposes and not because we were trapped. The fire dept. had to step in and remove it because it was a hazard. Despite running off an independent well, we had no water for 10 days. We filled our FW tanks and for many of us, it wasn't enough. Long-termers gathered together and filled a personal storage tank to share with anyone in the park who needed water. (I think this should have been done by park management.) The park did not prepare well enough for the storm. They could have secured generators for the well but supposedly, something went wrong with the rental company. For an area that experiences power outages every heavy storm, you would think they would invest in that. We spent $200* on gas to power our generators. When the electricity bill came around, there was no price decrease... I THINK the park received FEMA funds, but we saw no reimbursement or credits. Electricity- The meters near the dumpsters don't work. They guess-estimate usage and charge you what they want. This is great for some, but unfair and indicative of their poor infrastructure. With every heavy storm, the power goes out. Water well - They are routinely doing maintenance on it. They shut the water off couple times a month it's ridiculous. Family Friendly - It is not. Little to no kid events. Kids aren't allowed in hot tub even with supervision. We don't have kids, but we did appreciate seeing the kids ride bikes and play. It brings life to the park. Sadly, kids can't ride bikes/play outside without supervision. Stupid rule IMO. WIFI - you have to get a passcode EVERY month for EVERY device. I call customer service, and they act like there's no free witi. They don't explicitly say it, but they'll push their plans onto you to pay extra... disgusting. I wonder how many people they've gotten with that scam. Storage - With new management, they got stricter with having items in your lot. You can't store boats, even with covers. BBQ pits need covers, etc, etc. The silliest rule: your generator cant be visible... at a park that loses power regularly. GATE/ Crime - I got my car stolen in Fall 2024. That night they hit/tried every vehicle. I dont think the gate is to blame. The gate just never works so it stays open for whoever to drive in. Pricing - one main reason we are leaving is due to the pricing. They increased rent but with no increase in amenities. The dog park is horrible. Water well continuously goes out. Differential pricing, at one point my uncovered spot was the same as the covered spots. Newcomers pay $400*/ month from a promotion, but we're stuck paying $800* . In the slow months, we keep the park afloat. In tough times, we show up with the necessities. We ve built a community but that's not appreciated, so we left.

At the time of the move we were living in a Airbnb and was spending entirely to much money, and after a month I was still unfortunately still looking for work and I was reduced to living in a hotel with myself and 5 children and that was an extremely hard experience. As I filed out several applications for not only apartments, and houses I couldn't find anyone that was willing to allow me to rent because I had an eviction on my name. The first eviction was due to my husband being killed and I could no longer afford the rent for that place, I then rented a different place and one month before my lease was up the rental agency evicted me and put that on my credit and to me that wasnt fair all because she didn't want me to renew another lease. I then rented an apartment paying double the deposit because of the eviction which was fine I then started working for said complex a month after I moved in, and didnt get any sort of credit off my rent regardless of the fact I was employed and working even doing work on my days off and the weekend, I always paid my rent yes I paid it late however I paid all late fees without problems and they fired me and kicked me out within the same week and didn't give me a chance to pay my rent, and they then put that on my credit so that gave me 3 eviction in a 2 year span and that doesn't look good and no one cares to listen to why or what happened to only see the evictions. I finally found residence RV and they approved me to rent. Yes it's small but I promise is so much bigger and better than the hotel, I have a kitchen, and all my kids have a bed or a place to sleep without being on the floor or cramped in 2 beds, I have a address, and my children were able to start school in a home with an address vs starting a school living a hotel. So this place gave me a since of being a good mother and gave me the opportunity to give my children a starter home until I am able to have a good rental history good enough for someone other than this place that will be willing to take a chance and rent to me a home or an apartment big enough for my family. But being that they gave me a chance was a wonderful blessing and I appreciate everyone that works here for giving me a chance to rent. Kyle is amazing and one of the kindest people in the office, Melba is the sweetest and always willing to try to help, John is very sweet as well and does try to help also. I have been extremely blessed living here I have the most amazing neighbors, and living here has shown me that there are still wonderful ppl in the world that still believe in it takes a village to raise children and we all look after each other's children. I have gained 2 amazing wonderful friends that I believe I will cherish the rest of my life. Ans I have also gotten a few friends that are very good ppl as well. So I am extremely appreciative of the people at Residence RV and the fact that they give people a chance to get up on their feet and give them a place to call home for a while

We were in town for a coin show and decided to grab a last minute room for three before heading north for SFA to visit my oldest daughter. About 5 o'clock in the evening I pulled up to the lobby and my wife went in looking for a decent rate and got a $180 rate (it's about $260 total charge- $50 hold for incidentals which is refundable, and $210 after local taxes for the room) Very clean and nice "new" feel. It does have a convention meeting area and the staff was very nice from the front desk to the cleaning help. We liked the night lights attached to the bottom of the bed that are motion detection in the event you get up in the middle of the night. Gives you great lighting for your feet but doesn't really disturb the rest of the room. They also have them in the bathroom. Pillows were a bit too mushy in my opinion and the shower heads did not have the pressure I like to have so this one falls just short of top ratings for me. Felt very roomy for two double queens and we had a pretty good view of the front parking lot from our room on 7th floor to keep our car in sight. There is a dining area on site but breakfast is not included in the room fee so you have to pay separate for that. There is a quick convenience area if you want to pay inflated prices for Nicknacks/snacks. They did have two chargers in the self-parking garage, but warning it is quite a long walk across the conference rooms area and you need to bring your room key to gain entry back into the hotel (and also in the elevators here to the rooms). Two level 2 chargers (about 14 miles an hour recharge), with a sign that said 4 hour charge limit. Safe place, decent deal last minute, and nice and cozy feeling inside. I'd say this is more of an on the road stop rather than a destination stop. I will include separate review, but an awesome sushi/hibachi place right next door is also worth a try!

The studio room has a full-sized fridge, a couple of stovetop burners, microwave, Keurig, and a dishwasher. The room is laid out great with a desk for working. The place is perfect for an extended stay. I am not big on fan on the usual hotel chain breakfast, but I love it when they have bananas and a lot don't it seems anymore. I grabbed a banana and a muffin for my drive. I wasn't expecting much but this muffin was some sort of lemon berry with a lemon curd in the middle. It was delicious! I almost turned around so I could get another. Definetly would stay at again!

I turned to him and said leave some for guests. Your front office mgr translated to him in Spanish. She then REFUSED to fill it back up with chocolate! This is NOT professional in any way. I told her I saw the guy yesterday filling it up and she said the chocolate is for elite members only. I'm a MARRIOTT BONVOY LIFETIME PLATINUM!! There has always been chocolate in the past! We had 50 guests and every single person commented on what a fantastic time they had. Every staff member was professional and took excellent care of our guests. Working with James Winkler was awesome. He helped us in every aspect of getting the party set up and was always available to answer all of our questions. He even helped me when our DJ backed out 5 days before the party. I can not recommend them enough.
