For starters, I have to wait at the airport for more than 30 minutes for the shuttle bus to pick me up. Then when I arrive at the hotel the room that I was assigned to was very awkward, when I opened the door I heard a sound I got scared, the tv was on there were like eyes drop in the table, it seemed like someone just left the room in a hurry. I went downstairs and explained to the front desk lady thank goodness she was able to give me another room. The walls in this hotel are very very thin I didn't sleep much cause the people from above me and next to me kept slamming their doors and making all kinds of noise. Then morning comes and as I am getting ready I see something crawling omg! There is a cockroach in my room then I am telling to myself what else can go wrong, so I go down to get a nice breakfast. Oh boy, the breakfast was like prison food, I feel like they didn't put any effort and just grab stuff from the frozen isle and threw it there. All I can think was the cockroach might be in the breakfast area too anyway I was very disappointed with the whole experience. read more

! At check in, agent warned "nothing here works" and the elevator didn't stop on floor 3. Should have left then, but had booked and prepaid. You'd have to stay here a month and pay what you pay for one night to make it worth it. Not one working ice machine anywhere. Floor 4 ice and vending area only has a maid's cart parked in it. Air conditioner in room left carpet saturated. The ONLY working item that never ever failed was an in room light sensor that illuminated the entire room like daylight for a 5 minute period when you got up to do the midnight bathroom break. The sensor picks up movement from more than 10 feet away. Imagine the movies where a flood light comes on in a junk yard with guard dogs, and you'll start to get the idea of how jarring it is. read more

They have these super bright automatic lights when you first walk into the room so anytime somebody gets up to go to the bathroom it comes on and wakes up the whole room.My whole family got about 2 hours of complete sleep because of the bright ass light keeping everyone up.Who was the Genius who decided to ruin our whole trip .we almost slept outside so we could actually sleep more than 2 hours.What a complete nightmare it was.NEVER STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN...NEVER F.U LA QUINTA!!!! read more

My confirmation email for my room showed a $94 charge for the night. Instead, I was charged $134. Front desk staff had no record of the charge in my email. The shuttle service is unreliable. They will nor pick you up at the airport after 10:00 pm, even though your request was approved. They would not reimburse my $50 charge for taxi and told me I should have taken an Uber for $25 instead. Front desk person and shuttle driver gave rude customer service. Beware. The staff checked in another Guest into the Same RM I have already been in for the past several days, accidents happen, cool, fine , but what made the situation worse once i quickly called downstairs to front desk the lady working mid shift was very disrespectful, worst customer service I have ever experienced. We put up a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door but when we came back from the Cowboys game, not only was the bed made and had a new set of towels but the cash that was in our duffel bag was gone. I told the front desk about it and she didn't do anything to help. In fact, she called the cops because "I was causing a scene" and telling guests that they better be careful because they're artifacts will definitely be stolen. Another guest told me that housekeeping went into their room as well. They also had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on their door. Difference was that they were in their room when they let themselves in. The guest asked what they were doing in their room and they tried to come up with an answer, "Ugh, ugh, I'm looking for missing headphones." The guest told housekeeping that they didn't report any missing headphones and asked them again what they were doing in their room. One of the worst hotels i've stayed at. My dog friendly room has crumbs all over the floor, beef jerky wrappers in the drawers, clothing tags scattered on the bathroom floor, and a very crusted over shower head. The pool, on the other hand, was worse. Employees allowed guests to eat along the poolside, resulting in takis in the water and a trail of ants around the ledge of the hot tub. I went to the pool an hour after its opening and discovered wrappers lying around, gum smashed into the floor, dirty socks lying on chairs from the night before, and a concerning color in the hot tub. It's like they didn't clean it, which wouldn't be surprising giving the state of my room when I arrived. read more

Very average. This hotel is exactly what you'd expect from an Airport La Quinta. Essentially no common areas other than the breakfast area. Breakfast is the normal sub par continental thing... The pool looked fine but I did not partake. Front desk staff were often rude but some were slightly friendly... The rooms are "clean" but still dusty in corners and water spots on counter and mirrors. Found one or two hairs that didn't belong to me when I initially got into my room. A plus: fridge and microwave in room. Decor reasonably modern/updated. One thing I will say that was impressive was the gym. Slightly above average for an airport hotel. It was very clean (most likely due to usually not being used), with all the essentials: bikes, treadmills, dumbbell rack, bench, mats... plus medicine balls (this was a random but welcome surprise). The pleasant gym was cancelled out however, by the very very very poorly organized shuttle service. Sometimes you can schedule ahead of time and other times they say "no you have to call when you're ready". They only ever have one driver at a time which I think is unacceptable for an airport hotel. Often you are waiting 30 mins for the shuttle, and on one occasion my co-workers and I had to wait 50 minutes. So yeah... par for the course I guess. read more

Definitely 1-2 star hotel. Pros: no roaches/ clean room/ comfy bed Cons: People smoke WEED and the whole floor including your room will smell like weed. Breakfast is garbage and the juice is watered down probably to save a buck. If you plan on using their gym be prepared for broken equipment and to feel everyone's hot breath down your neck that's how small and packed with machines it is. Their vending machines are out of order half the time. Creaky floors & thin walls be prepared to hear every foot step/ argument. The showers are tiny and the whataburger striped shower curtain won't stay in place you won't get enough towels to soak all the water on the floor afterwards. Parking is always packed be prepared to park in the grass or illegally park on the side of the street. But hey at least they have an indoor pool but it seems to always be full of kids peeing in it anyway. Nothing good to say here seriously look elsewhere!!!!! read more

I had a reservation for 3 nights. When I went to check in the the lady at the front desk gave me a friendly greeting. She did asked if we had planned on using the pool. We did. She politely let me know that the pool was down and apologized. They said we could still stay and use a pool of another hotel close by or we could cancel. This place has roaches. We saw a roach on the table, a roach on the pillow on the bed and a roach in the bathroom within 20 minutes. The hotel staff wasn't phased by it or see it as a problem. Don't stay at that place. read more

My flight was delayed so I missed my connection in Dallas and had to stay the night. I stayed at La Quinta and overall the hotel is really nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the place was very clean, they had a decent gym (which I couldn't use because I didn't have my luggage but it looked nice), and several other amenities for guests that I usually don't see at a budget style hotel. The front desk workers were not very helpful and the airport transportation driver was rude. Also, shuttles to the airport only run once every hour on the hour, so your sh*t out of luck if you want to be there at 10:45. It's nice that they offer this service as most people staying at this hotel are probably travelers....but if they're going to make you reserve the shuttle time (which they do), then you shouldn't have to wait for last minute walk-ons without reservations. Just get rid of the reservation system! read more

There were a few issues, but it was with the shuttle driver and i didnt feel that should hinder the rest of the hotel and staff. Tanya was amazing. So helpful, friendly and genuine every time I called down or stopped by the desk. She caught the wrath of the shuttle driver's issues And never once lost her professionalism. The indoor pool area is nice and the hot tub is actually Hot!! Nice fitness center and I saw a computer/work area as well. I was going to do laundry but realized the time and decided to do it at tomorrow's hotel. The free shuttle within 5 miles was a pleasant surprise - the driver. We checked into our rooms on 5/20/2022. We were assigned rooms 306 & 308. We unpacked our suitcases and left to go enjoy our vacation. While we were away, your front desk attendance mistakenly overbooked someone else into our room (306). When we came back late into the night, we discovered that someone else was currently sleeping in our room. All of your belongings were exposed and venerable to this person and/or anyone else she may have given access to our room (306). When we presented this issue to your front desk attendant, he was unsympathetic and less than helpful. He simply passed the blame into his co-worker that worked the shift before him. His solution was to reassign us to the adjacent room (305). He then suggested that we submit a formal complaint with corporate in the morning. He did not offer an upgraded room or any assurances of our safety. We were heavily inconvenienced by having to pack up our things and relocate out of our assigned room (306). We had all of personal and valuable information/items exposed in our room under the reasonable expectation that it was secured behind a locked door with restricted access. We left in such a hurry that we couldn't confirm if any of our belongings were tampered or stolen. Your hotel staff neglected to accompany us to prevent any further altercation between us and the woman currently residing room 306; while we gathered our belongings to relocate. Upon settling into the new room (305), we were very uncomfortable and disturbed due to the fear and paranoia of a stranger possibly having access to our room while we slept. I was not capable to resting for the fear of my young child's safety. This experience hindered my daily plans due to induced paranoia and lack of sleep. We are no longer capable of fully enjoying our vacation as a result of this problematic experience. I demand to be fully compensated. read more

Price vs hotel makes it a 5 star. We paid half the price vs any other la Quinta with in 10 min drives. I liked the hotel a lot. The rooms are decent sized, the beds are firmer plush. Higher quality sheets. The staff was great. I arrived about the time 3-4 other check ins did to and the can see that the staff step up there step to speed up check in. The morning breakfast was constantly being restock. They had a nice selection of teas. Different types of bagels. So that's all I need. There was an in door pool. We have done a Park and fly before with a different hotel and had a horrible experience where we had to wait an hour at the terminal for our driver to pick us up after already being exhausted, but thankfully didn't experience that with the la Quinta airport shuttle. We had a terrible experience at this hotel. We arrived there at 11pm, got a key and when we got to our room, it was dirty. So we walked all the way back to the lobby and the guy behind the counter, who was very nice, gave us a key to another room. And that one was dirty. And by dirty I mean it was not made up. The beds weren't made etc... So we went back to the lobby, and got another key. To make a long story short, we ended up checking 5 different rooms until we finally found one. The hotel is clean and nothing fancy. What makes this five stars is the staff who are incredibly helpful and kind. The customer service at this hotel was excellent all around. The staff really seems to care about the guests. On the day I was to leave I was in the lobby checking my email. I had to take a test and I had checked out of my room already and there were several hours before my flight. The hotel staff was ordering lunch and asked if I wanted to order as well. I did and was grateful they had included me. When the food arrived Devonne gave me a bottle of water to go with it. Staff was wonderful super friendly and acomidating. The lobby and pool was clean and updated very pretty. The room seemed to be updated as well. New bed but very very firm. The room had a thermostat but didn't seem to cool of no matter what we changed it to. The walls were thin and we heard a baby cry all night. Had to move the night stand to get a plug available to the plug for my phone. Lamp was also broken so I couldn't turn on one of the lamps. And there was not enough towels for two ppl in the room. Ok let's make this really clear. This is the La Quinta by the airport. This isn't the Beverly Hills Hotel. You're not going to be located by prime real estate with gorgeous views. You're not going to be waited on hand and foot. Breakfast is not going to be a fine dining experience. Like many hotels, the tv channel selection is limited. Being by an airport generally means that most guests are staying for a night before catching a flight, and so the hotel caters to that. I recently stayed here with my family and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and even conversed with my two young children who enjoyed the interaction. Our room was on the third floor. The elevator was a *bit* squeaky, but I've heard worse. For servicing four floors, it was not slow at all. In spite of several other families staying at the hotel, I heard no noise from any other room. The only noise I ever heard was from someone slamming their door at 5am when they left their room. But you'll have inconsiderate people at any hotel and it had nothing to do with the walls. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were very plush. Speaking of plush, so was the carpeting in the room and the hall! The bathroom was a great size and had plenty of towels and bath items. Seriously, how many do you need and how many showers could you possibly be taking if you say you're staying only one night?? Yeah, if you're any normal person taking just one shower during the one night you're staying, you're good to go. The room also came with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffeemaker. The pool was fantastic. A good size with faux rocks that had a mini waterfall on one end, and had a nice temperature. The hot tub was on the end of the pool with the waterfall, and was also quite lovely. The bonus? It's an indoor pool. I'm not too crazy about outdoor pools at hotels as they are typically just situated right in the parking lot. Breakfast had some nice variety: waffles, hardboiled eggs, bread, muffins, bagels, biscuits, gravy, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, spreads, coffee, milk, juice, hot chocolate, a nice selection of tea, and more. If you're looking for a full menu, go to a restaurant. But for a hotel, this is a really nice variety. The only downside is that in comparison to other La Quinta Inns I have stayed at, this was pretty small. I generally stay at this chain because they have a pet friendly policy, but it can definitely get cramped depending on how many pets you have and how big they are. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to bring your pets. read more

Cancellation Fee Crooks! Last week I arrived in TX where I made a reservation through Expedia for La Quinta Inn and Suites-Euless. When I realized that this particular location was too far from where I would be visiting with family, I immediately called Expedia to cancel the reservation. The cancellation policy states "Cancellations or changes made after 6:00 PM (Central Daylight Time (US & Canada) on Dec 1, 2015 or no-shows are subject to a hotel fee equal to the first night's rate plus taxes and fees." My reservation was made on Dec 2, 2015, so I was not sure why there was reference to Dec 1, 2015, but in any event, the cancellation was made well before the 6pm cut off, when a the cancellation fee would apply. After going back and forth with the Expedia representative about the validity of the cancellation fee, I was told that the cancellation fee would in fact apply. However, the representative could not provide clear reasoning about the cancellation verbiage above. Frustrated, I contracted the general manager at La Quinta "Sobe". After another long conversation, he advised that it was their policy to apply a cancellation fee. I stressed again that my cancellation occurred prior 6pm as the cancellation is noted. The general manager advised that he could not waive the fee, but would speak with his manager and follow up with me on the issue. Approximately 10 minutes later, he called back to say that the charge would be waived. I thanked him and thought that would be the end of this whole bizarre situation. However, while checking my bank transactions, I found that the cancellation fee had been posted to my account anyway!! Will never consider staying here again. Charge is being disputed read more

I wanted to give this a 2-star but ONLY because the renovations on the rooms is excellent but that was the only positive experience we had. The most disappointing thing about this hotel was the staff. We had two very bad experiences while staying there and will not return. The first is the morning we were checking out to fly out of DFW. My husband went down to the lobby to speak to the front desk. When he got to the front desk another customer was standing there as well and he told my husband that the person who was working and a few minutes earlier walked out to the parking lot and left. We tried calling the main number of the hotel to see if anyone else was there and not aware that the front desk was empty but there was no answer. We finally tried calling the corporate number to let them know it was unmanned. I think they were finally able to get someone. We had planned to leave our car there and use the shuttle. We ended up getting stuck at our destination due to the bad weather. When we were finally able to get a flight back to DFW, I called the hotel to ask if the shuttle would be available because we would not arrive until after 11:00 p.m. and if there would be any rooms available. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. He told me that the shuttle was 24/7 and he didn't need to know that we were arriving because we just needed to call and that he had other people trying to book rooms so he didn't know if there would be any available. I am very empathetic and understand that Dallas was experiencing a stressful time so I am sure he was busy and not in the mood for my questions so I had originally not planned to mention this conversation BUT when we arrived at the airport and called the hotel....no answer. AT ALL. I finally left a message asking for a call back as soon as possible because we were at the airport. We tried calling for 20 minutes from two different phone lines and no one ever answered or called back. We finally had to call a Lyft driver to pick us up. I chose this hotel due to the excellent reviews for renovations and shuttle reliability but were very disappointed in the staff. read more

We had a good experience for the most part. The lobby is nice and the room is decent, especially for the price. The bed/pillows were super comfy. Devonne (sp?) at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Nothing amazing but lots of different options. The only real problem we had was checking out. We told them from the beginning that we wanted to pay with a different card then we had put on hold the night before and still ended up being charged on the wrong card. Luckily, when I called later to fix it, Devonne was working again so she got it taken care of. Overall, pretty good experience. We'll most likely stay again. I stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights for the game. At check in on Wednesday 11/28/2018 around 7 PM the front desk person was not friendly did not greet us she never smiles not a great experience from the beginning. The best part of staying was the shuttle driver who introduced himself as Tony and if we needed a ride anywhere he was available. At the end of our stay that the confirmation email says check out at 12 so I was locked out of my room at 11 which caused an inconvenience.
