First let me say I have a friend who owns a hotel so I know how they work and my review below is just my opinion. I checked in as a walk in as I was driving from Ohio to Florida and just needed a break as I was getting a headache and starting to get tired. The from desk person was very polite and took great care of me. I got to my room unpacked things for the shower in the morning and got my clothes out. Turned on the A/C to a sleep able 68 degrees and climbed into bed. About 1-2am the A/C started to make horrible noise. Sadly my head was not better so instead of me going down to change rooms I just turned off the A/C. I woke up around 5am getting warm as expected. Sadly still had a headache so I took some meds got up to shower. Here is the only real complaint: the shower drain did not seem to work at all. As I took my shower the water just kept going. I got dressed and packed. Went down put my stuff in my car, walked back in to grab breakfast, now I normally do not eat at hotels. But I didn't want to stop anywhere else as I just filled up with gas right below the hotel. I got a biscuit, sausage, and some eggs and made a sandwich. I will say the biscuits were not hard, they were perfect, the sausage was not over cooked, the eggs were Powdered but not bad. To top it off the coffee was good. I mean not amazing but good. I have had a lot worse at hotels and I took a cup with me for the drive. I did tell the front desk about the room and they put it on the list to fix as well as tell me I should have came down to change rooms. Which I knew and told them so, but I also knew I just needed to sleep so for the A/C I take the blame. The drain should have been found in my opinion. I gave the 4 stars because I feel most were not on them and the place is very clean. The drain is my only real complaint. I would stay here again. read more

Ok stay. Good for one night and you're able to take your dog for a reasonable extra fee. Room was clean, but not the best sleep due to hard bed and extremely thin walls. Dog barked in room next door for over an hour. Breakfast - free, but not very good. The girl who checked us in in the evening was a bit rude. Not sure why, but she was definitely having a bad day. Please take note of my experience during my recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hotel in Loudon, TN. I was disappointed with the poor maintenance of the facilities and the inconsistency in the policies and room charges. As a frequent traveler, I booked a king-size room for two adults and two dogs with a maximum pet fee of $75 per stay. However, I was charged $830.67, which was unexpected as I was unaware of the different daily rates. Also, the difference of pet charging $150 for two dogs was not mentioned to me or any other hotel guest who just paid a maximum of $50 per stay days/nights. As a result, I felt that I was misled and overcharged. The hotel manager verbally changed the policy, telling me that the $75.00 maximum stay is for each dog even though I called corporate, and they confirmed that it is a $75 maximum per stay regardless of the number of pets. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all your guests. read more

My boyfriend and I honestly expected a somewhat pathetic service because of the remote location. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. It has quite lovely accommodations, and he and I enjoyed some time in the pool. We also thought the breakfast was particularly enjoyable. read more

This hotel has gone downhill so far in the past years. It needs updating. In the last six months, they've decided to try to implement a pet fee. Unfortunately they are completely inconsistent. We had four different parties in four different different rooms and they were charged various pet fees. One was $75 per stay per dog for a total of $150. One was charged $25 once. The other two paid $50 for their stay. Management refused to adjust or discuss when called. This is just the pet fee not the room charges. It had nothing to do with any damage or any issues by any party. Furthermore different people were charged different amounts for the same basic room no special discounts just the same basic room type size style. Management is not helpful. Not sure if this is a bias issue or just incompetence. The breakfast is crappy, coffee always empty, the rooms have old carpet and walls need repair in a few places as well had very long grass needing a cut the whole week. Definitely not a place I would recommend if you prefer a nice hotel. Even saw a member of the cleaning staff sitting and playing on a computer alone in a hotel room, door open - she was supposed to be cleaning but not sure if that was standard or just a fluke. read more

As I was checking in I took note that only 1 of at least a dozen guests was wearing a mask while going through the lobby. As I got into bed, I found hair on the sheets and pillows. This property is not taking care to clean the rooms and protect it's guests. read more

Newer hotel just off I-75 near an unassuming little town. Actual review was 3.5 stars. Round up 0.5 due to pet friendliness. PROS: Newer hotel, nice decor, clean as a whistle. Clean pool. Comfy beds and pillows. Nice linens. Good Wi-Fi signal. Like all La Quinta's, dogs stay free! CONS: Rooms were smaller than I thought they would be (standard two bed queen). High taxes on the room. First floor rooms pick up lots of noise due to tiled floors and reverberation of sound. We had to place rolled towels on floor around the door gap to dampen the noise level. Uninspired cheap-carb breakfast with the usual B-list sausage and powdered eggs. One good note, the seasoned breakfast potatoes were above average! Otherwise, as a whole, breakfast was marginal. Few dining choices available nearby. Odd group of transient-looking men sitting at front entrance drinking canned beer in the evening hours. They stared at everyone as they walked in and out of the hotel. Kinda creepy. BOTTOM LINE: Fair stay. The deciding factor for us was free lodging for dogs. Otherwise, if we were traveling without a pet, this would not be a first choice. read more

We stay here every other week for business. This is our favorite place to stay. The staff are all very friendly. The hotel is spotless. Housekeepers are amazing!!! The rooms are kept very clean. Breakfast was great and the lady working the breakfast bar was friendly as well. Definitely recommend staying here. There are great restaurants in Lenoir City about 15 minutes away if you don't like fast food. read more

Very nice hotel in the Louden area. Friend front desk staff. Good little breakfast each morning downstairs from 6am to 9am. Hot coffee around the clock. Easy access to the freeway. Used the fitness center and it was clean and the equipment was pretty ok with a TV to watch during your workout. Indoor pool area is set up nicely also. The cleaning staff was friendly and left the room clean daily. We have had family stay here also and they loved their stay also. read more

I had to stay in the area unexpectedly after my mom was admitted to the hospital. We were traveling with our poodle and it was just amazing to see him so relaxed and calm at a hotel. I did see other pets on occasion in the "potty" area. But the hotel itself was odor free and I didn't hear any dogs barking except one time at the front desk as someone was checking out. I was there for four nights and interacted with several members of the staff. All were professional and knowledgeable. If they didn't know the answer, they directed you to the person that did. My room had plenty of space and a very luxurious bed. There was a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room. I was also able to do a load of laundry while I was there. I used the treadmill every morning but did not have an opportunity to use the pool. I didn't try the breakfast bar (I never do at hotels), other than a bagel and cream cheese and a cup of coffee. It's a 20 minute drive to Farragut which has all that Knoxville has to offer with less congestion (Target, outlet stores, restaurants...). If the need arises, I would definitely return. It's a little pricey for the area, but well worth it. read more

The best things about this place were the breakfast and the bed. The breakfast was really yummy and expansive. Biscuits & gravy, waffles, and lots of other options. The bed was both firm and fluffy. I slept so well! The complaints I have are the water pressure was *very* low in the shower. The toilets flush with these buttons and the button in our room was broken and just gross, and the one in the lobby was too! So gross to expect a person to stick a finger on a broken button to flush. read more

We've never stayed at a La Quinta and decided to stay here because it looked nice on the website and there is no additional charge for pets. The hotel has been renovated and is incredibly clean and odor-free. We stayed for three days and were able to enjoy the pool, hot tub, and exercise room, which were all clean and enjoyable. The room was nice and clean, had a good A/C, direct tv, microwave, and fridge. We slept very well and found it to be a quiet stay. The only complaint for the room is that the bathroom door didn't latch, which was absolutely no big deal to us. The breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt. There are healthy choices, which is what appealed to me. The server wasn't very friendly, but she did a nice job stocking the food supplies to the mob. The breakfast prep area is small, but the eating area is large and roomy. The manager was very friendly and made us feel welcome. There are some nice food choices around, fast-food and sit-down. If you have time to drive into town and see the downtown area, you will find some great sites and eating choices. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

dang I can't be on the second person to review this I thought I'd be the first. Anyway this is a newly renovated hotel used to be a country in how are the owners were disappointed with that franchise and quickly converted over to the La Quinta and did a 2 million Dollar renovation as of last year 2016. Hotels pretty decent for your standard travel hotel has a nice clean rooms and a full hot breakfast that's all clued in the price. We paid roughly $150 total for single room with double queen beds for our family. What's the say it's pretty good it's clean it's newer it's something that's recommend is right outside of Knoxville so if you're on your way to say this smoky mountains this is a good travel stop hotel. There's a Bojangles and Kentucky fried chicken and McDonald's all nearby's was a gas station walking distance from the hotel. I recommend this hotelit is newer clean as it includes free breakfast has an indoor pool if you need to use it and overall what can you say what can I say it's something I would definitely go back to you if I had too if im on the same route thanks read more

This place is terrible. I travel the world and have never stayed at a Laquinta, but I tried to tonight.. I will NEVER go to another Laquinta. Front desk woman (working morning shift around 6am on March 24th 2018, she was blonde and fat) was being unbelievably rude so I called customer service instead of dealing with her. Customer service said there were rooms for the night when she said there were NOT rooms... We get to the point where I made a reservation with my card, then she proceeded to YELL at me while I'm on the phone with YOUR customer service. Customers were in the lobby and everything. It was bizarre and uncomfortable for really no reason.. She got very emotional and unprofessional, and she was saying very rude snarky comments. How do you do business like this? What a terrible experience, and you lost money too. Never stepping foot at another Laquinta. read more

The staff are so friendly, even to someone like me! They graciously allowed me to wait inside for some time during some events, showing their hospitality. Their interior is especially clean, and everyone is so friendly. I for one will definitely stay here the next time I'm here in Loudon, TN. read more

I travel all over the world, but I've never stayed at a Laquinta.. I tried to tonight...this experience made me NEVER want to come to another Laquinta again. Front desk woman (she was working the night shift on Saturday morning at around 6am on 4/24/18, not very nice, fat woman) was a total jerk, said there weren't rooms, when there were rooms according to the Laquinta staff on the phone. She started arguing with me while I was on the phone with said staff, also in front of customers. It was bizarre and strange... Basically yelling at me, while I was on the phone with customer service. Customers in the lobby were looking. It was weird and she was being extremely unprofessional. She was also being extremely rude and saying snarky comments. I was just trying to get a room for the night. Customer service on the phone had my card number and everything until she started yelling at me, y'all lost money because of her. Unfortunate. Never coming here again. read more
