We stopped here on our way home from Florida. We called about 30 minutes before our arrival to book our room. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful. She got us signed up for the rewards program and suggested a dinner spot for our son. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I think they were in the middle of renovations. There were a lot of construction signs up. Plus, the hallway to the rooms had no air conditioning. Room was fine for what we needed for the night. The room air conditioner wasn't the greatest...it could have been a lot cooler in the room...especially with temperatures in the 100s outside. A few stains on comforter on one of the beds. However, I slept great. It was a comfortable bed. Good hot shower. Morning breakfast left a lot to be desired. We grabbed a waffle and a few muffins...but the setup in other La Quintas has been better. Not a lot of workable vending machines either. You had to purchase drinks in a cooler behind front desk. Good location though...right off I-75 with lots of restaurants and shops around. Felt safe the whole time. Bottom line, if you need a quick over-night stay for a reasonable price...this location is more than acceptable. However, anything longer, I would look elsewhere. read more

Absolutely without a doubt this is the filthiest most disgusting La Quinta I've ever been to and I've been to at least two dozen locations from Florida to New Mexico. The front desk staff was pleasant and equally disgusted by the filthy room we were offered. She did her best to clean it so thank you for that. It only got worse from there. The health department really dropped the ball on this hotel. The bedroom has black mold on the walls by the picture. There is mold on the upholstered chair. The hotel air conditioner does not work! It must have been 90 degrees in the lobby! The worst part is the breakfast is dangerously. Everything has mold in the food except for the small carton milk in the fridge. I pray we don't get sick. Checkin was minimal, no explanation of check out times, breakfast hours, pool hours or rules, etc. our first room had what we are assuming was dog hair all over the comforters. We asked to move rooms to find torn comforters, stained lamps, safety lock barely hanging on, hole in the wall, water spout for the tub was not attached to the wall so moved when water came on and water came out of back side, shower handle would not stay in place, so you had to take a ice cold shower or scalding hot. Washing machine area had large bugs crawling on the floor. All vents in the upstairs hallway were leaking water, I'm assuming from the a/c but would drip on you as you walked by, ice machine leaked all over the floor, construction in the main hallway of which you had to pass through to get to the elevator. All carpets were filthy and stained. The safety lock was barely attached to the door frame. The cleaning lady was very nice and helped us get new towels as needed. We have stayed at La Quinta's other locations and have never had such a disgusting experience. Unfortunately due to timing of a local tournament, there was not other options to move to other hotel so we had to stay. We are in hotels 15-20 weekends a year due to travel sports and we will no longer be staying with La Quinta. read more

This La Quinta has some of the best food preservatives East of the Mississippi. The staff is so on top of it that breakfast was ready at 11pm. The next morning I arrived for my morning continental; the same perishable food was proudly served. It seemed edible and showed no obvious signs of massive bacterial growth. I shrugged and enjoyed an admittedly mediocre breakfast. Are they hotel chefs or food scientists? Whatever the case, I applaud the La Quinta workers for showing us what bulk meal prep can look like. read more

We arrived at 1:00 am after driving all day through rain. Hoping to sleep in a bit before getting on the road again. Unfortunately, we woke at 6:00am to the toilet leaking all the way out to the room. It even got out stuff wet. We cleared out without showering or being able to use the toilet. The front desk attendant took pictures to send to manager, who said we wouldn't be reimbursed for anything. If that weren't enough, my husband had bites or a rash or something on his arm when he awoke. There was a leak in the ceiling of the hallway so bad that they had a huge garbage can collecting the water. And the labeled "fresh coffee" we tried to at least take with us was obviously from at least the day before because it didn't even make 2 cups & it was cold. It was an awful experience. read more

My room was dirty. The day started by the door card reader not working properly on my door or my mom's door. I get it... I had my dogs and I was in a pet friendly room. However, I expect my room to be clean. I took a shower and grabbed a towel and the towel was wet. Gross!! Then I went and inspected my room. See the pictures. My dogs were settled so I didn't change rooms. At least my bed was clean. Update: after finding out my sheets had holes and there was a smoke alarm beeping all night. I was moved to another room. I moved to a room on the first floor that had great pillows, clean, sheets didn't have holes. If this was my first room my review would have been much different. Attn MGMT: room 230 needs to be completely redone. Someone needs to get in there and completely clean it from top to bottom and shampoo the dingy carpet. The toilet to flush you need to hold the handle down. I can't believe after seeing my second room you would even give 230 to anyone. read more

We stayed here due to being dog friendly. Once I was in the bed I kept feeling something wet around my foot. I thought it was just were the sheet was cold but as I moved around I would hit the wet spot occasionally. I pulled down the covers and didn't see any stains but I did find the damp spot. I thought the mattress could be leaking gel because it seemed to be that type of a mattress. I fell asleep and when I woke up the damp spot was still there. Since it was daylight I pulled the cover back again and that's when I saw a yellow tinged sheet. I smelled it and it smelled like dog urine mixed with some type cleaner. I took my dog from the dog cage and put her on the bed to see if she picked up the scent and yes she sure did. I assume they tried to clean the mattress and it was so saturated with urine and cleaner it never got dried. Needless to say I slept in that all night and I felt so dirty once I figured it out. The chair in the room I wouldn't dream to sit on it, it was so stained. So I would never recommend this to anyone. I know when you have pets there will be accidents but for gosh sakes don't rent the room until it is sanitized and clean! read more

This hotel is really nice for the most part, the people at the front desk are nice but the lady who served the breakfast each morning is totally rude she goes around slamming things on the counter gets pissed off if you spill anything on the counter because she'll have to wipe it again gives you dirty looks when you're getting your food constantly goes behind you cleaning up even if you don't spill anything. I think she needs to be spoken to because it's very uncomfortable sitting here trying to eat your breakfast when she's giving you dirty looks! Hotel has major water damage. Ceiling in hallway has holes and dripping water. The room is in need of drywall repair. The lamp shades and light fixtures are rusty. Lots of water marks on bed skirt, drapes and wall. Vents are filthy. The place should close and renovate. I was fortunate to get a room at Holiday Inn Express 2 weeks earlier and that room and hotel was 100 times better all the way around and dog friendly and the cost was the same. Next time I will book in advance to avoid staying at a place like this. The owner should be ashamed to have people pay good money to stay in a place like this. read more

This is a really nice, clean hotel. Free Wifi, Continential breakfast and a pool. It's 100% non-smoking, so you don't have to worry about your room smelling bad. There is a nice dorm size fridge in the room with a microwave and coffee maker. Flat screen tv as well. The bed is comfy. The breakfast had pretty much everything you could want for breakfast. The staff was really nice. I would definitely stay here again. read more

The plusses: the beds were comfortable, although a bit bouncy. The breakfast was decent and honestly this place was available. This part of GA the hotels fill up quick. The downside: there's a reason this hotel had vacancies. There is no elevator to the second floor, there are several examples of neglect of the property including several water leaks in the ceiling of the lobby, torn carpeting on the main staircase, sweat stains on the exercise equipment, broken toilet handles, an unknown stain in the carpet in our room and a pool that was closed by the health dept. They are "pet friendly" which is nice if you're traveling with a dog, but if you aren't ... well. I've stayed in worse, but without a serious improvement in maintenance, this place will continue its downward spiral. read more

First of all, the staff is very friendly, and they didn't hesitate at all giving us a another room after we pointed out that the first room was very dirty. It not only looked like it had not been cleaned from the last guest, but it was so dusty and looked like it's been months since it had been dusted or the coffee pot cleaned. The second room was okay, but the air conditioner sent out musty air, surely needing the filter cleaned. Pillows also smelled musty. Bathroom looked like it had painted over mold around the shower and shower fauchet lacked caulking, surely causing mold. Do not recommend staying here. read more

We stayed at another La Quinta location last week and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. This prompted us to stay at this location, thinking it would be a similar experience...this was not the case. The staff was helpful but not the friendliest, a lot of the time they were more concerned about taking their constant smoke breaks. What bothered me the most was that this place was advertised as being "recently remodeled". Maybe the lobby was remodeled, but the rest of the place is in rough shape. Screws/nails coming through carpet seams in the hallways, exposed duct work and insulation amongst other things. For a place that is pet-friendly, you might want to watch where your furry friend steps...one wrong step and a nail might be in their pad. There was a card in the room with the name of the person who "cleaned" our room. I won't call this person out specifically as that isn't my goal here, and I have a feeling that the standards are low across the board. My standards aren't usually too high, especially for a pet-friendly hotel, but the room cleaning needs a lot of work. Layers of dust on almost every surface that wasn't a countertop or piece of furniture. Dust caked on the bedside lamps and toilet paper holder...even the place holding our "clean" towels was dust-covered. The towels themselves looked like they had been through war. Threads pulling out everywhere with unknown brown/red stains all over them. Disgusting. The bedding was all stained with unknown marks as well. I saw that another reviewer used a black light in her room here and bless her because I do not have the stomach to handle something like that, especially at this place. The smoke detector in our room was ripped out of the ceiling and hanging by wires. The faucet in the bathroom and shower were leaking, I truly hope they have a handyman look at them, otherwise the guests below might have a flooding issue sometime soon. Very loud hotel as well. Guests slamming doors at all hours. Lastly, the exterior door to the stairwell does not have a keyed entry, leaving it unlocked at all hours for anyone to enter. Not a very secure situation. If the staff can get it together and realize what clean means, maybe you'll have a better experience. If you don't need a pet-friendly hotel, definitely stay elsewhere. If you do need a pet-friendly hotel, stay here with extreme caution. read more

Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it's a non smoking hotel. There was mold on the curtains. There was water in the nightstand drawer. There was a puddle of water on the floor. The hairdryer made a buzzing, vibrating noise and had a burning smell. The bathroom light flickered continuously. The carpet was sticky. And for some reason, the side door of the hallway was propped by a rug all night. One of the most disgusting places I have had the misfortune of staying in a long time. read more

We have stayed at this particular inn 3 or 4 times. Each time we have been very satisfied with the rooms, service, and breakfast area. The front desk has been very accommodating and helpful. The Inn location is an easy off and on from I-75 and Is next door to a Cracker Barrel and a steak house restaurant. There have been periodic upgrades each year. Oh by the way they allow pets at no extra cost and provide areas for their needs. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I booked my room and was given a quote through southwest airlines. When I got to the hotel there was a Danger do not Enter sign where the elevator should be. The "exercise room" was out of order. Our bathroom door did not work, our air conditioner kept the room luke warm at best, and the ice machine was broken. Our room was clean, however, there were bugs crawling in the stairway. This was bad enough, however, when I went to check out the price was more than I was quoted. I questioned this immediately and was told that this happens all the time when you bundle, and when my credit card was billed it would be accurate. It was not. I called today and spoke to Taylor who told me that I needed to deal with expedia as they charged my card. (I never used expedia) I called Discover and they stated that La Quinta charged my card directly, not expedia. I called La Quinta back and told Taylor this. She transferred me to Allie who stated the room rate changes by day and This is what you get when you bundle through an airline. Run....don't walk...to the nearest hotel.
