Very clean facilities and lots of space for your pets to take a break. I have stopped here on many occasions while driving to Atlanta. I don't believe it's 24 hours anymore and I'm pretty bummed about that.

This is a nice rest stop that can be accessed via I-75 southbound after the Highway 136 exit. This area has lots of grass for kids to run around on. There are several covered picnic tables, with stationary bbq grills (bring your own bbq briquets) nearby. There are even some picnic tables in the wooded area close to the Interstate. Offramp going to Rest Area #35 requires a quick slowdown of your car because there's a curve to be navigated. Lots of parking spaces for cars and big trucks. Fyi, all traffic is routed around the rest area building before the cars can enter back onto the interstate, so, if you can't find parking spaces in the front of the building, drive around the rest area until you get to the back, behind the building, and there should be lots of parking spaces there. Very clean grounds and restrooms. Vending machines dispense snacks and cold beverages. Just a tip: When you merge back onto I-75, remember that the speed limit is 70 mph, and most people are driving faster than that. As soon as you hit the onramp, get up to speed and merge in quickly because you don't really have that much of an onramp.

This rest area along I-75 between Chattanooga and Atlanta is good for a stop. Vending machines, picnic tables and clean rest rooms. This rest area has one of my favorite features - a serious turn that forces drivers to slow down. Otherwise, they come speeding into the parking area at highway speed and that's never a good thing. Shaded picnic tables were a nice touch as was the sign to let you know how many miles to various destinations. It is 126 miles to the next welcome center and that's through Atlanta. Tip: If you are headed to Atlanta in 75 miles, check the traffic. You may want to take 285 to get around some of it. Good luck as Atlanta traffic is legendary. https://www.yelp.com/biz/traffic-on-i-285-no-title?hrid=_iCx_Kox4kKNFzBtQCVTog [Review 13611 overall, 930 of 2020, number 305 in Georgia.]

This rest area was fairly small, but the bathrooms were pretty clean. They had vending machines and some good informational signs here.

Clean restrooms with an attendant wiping down sinks and bathroom stalls frequently in the women's restroom (big up's for that). Lots of beautiful landscaping and picnic tables. A couple vending machines for drinks and snacks.

I checked out the desserts, brisket sandwiches and all of the beef jerky. I then went to the Buccees shot glasses. Of course, I took pictures of the Buccees truck along the way. The staff was friendly and able to help me find what I was looking for. My friends and I shopped and ate for two hours! Since there isn't a place to eat, we ate inside my friend's car. The bathrooms are clean with no wait time. I enjoyed looking at the artwork when I entered the bathroom. I noticed there were other products that looked like it belonged to a Hallmark store and fishing store. Buccees has whatever you need and more. The brisket was delicious and I loved the sauce. The sandwich was just enough for me. My friends and I had a fantastic time perusing Buccees and now I know why people are obsessed.

The number of fuel pumps they have is only matched by the number of always clean bathrooms. Need some good Texas BBQ? They have tasty brisket, sausage, and various other options. Lots of fountain drinks, icees, and coffee. If your looking for someone sweet the fudge and freshly made nuts are great to. Of course if you just need gas or to stop for a EV charge you should be able to get in and out pretty quick. Only complaint is they don't have more of them along the gulf coast! :)

I really needed to stretch out and move around. Couldn't really rest well after two hours. I woke up because it was cold many times so I ran the engine a few times to warm up. And noticed the fog was starting to flurry. And it was on the edge of 31°. That was all the incentive I needed to get back on the road. I drove two more hours where it was off the mountain area and 40°, warmer to the south. The rest area was clean and I always try to use them even without the pit stop just to get out and stretch using the car curb for leg/calf stretches and get some water. 37/2024

Parked in the last space of the lot, I was able to open the window that faced the highway so it was a bit of privacy. Between that and the roof vent, a comfortable night at a high point. Comfy! Yes, this rest area allows overnight parking. Not camping, parking. You're here to rest and get some sleep before continuing onwards so do that. Other than a few trucks idling in the lot and a couple who seem to think it's fair to use their engine to break, it was a quiet night. In the morning, a stretch and a visit to the clean restroom and then onwards. Thanks, Grundy County and TDOT! [Review 20208 overall - 470 in Tennessee - 1185 of 2023.]
