Best meal of our 10-day Cabo trip. I can't believe we haven't been here before! First of all the restaurant is adorable. It's a very welcoming space where you're greeted with big smiles and there's a couple areas inside you can eat, as well as a courtyard outside. We came right before Christmas time so there was an adorable Christmas tree, and they even were doing a toy drive. Not gonna lie, I'm one of those people who has to know what the staff topics are, and everybody was super helpful and enthusiastic about sharing their top recommendations. We ended up going with the Caesar salad, the nachos, and three tacos - the asada, chorizo, and pastor. Honestly, everything was really good but the asada meat was my absolute favorite so I loved that taco and adored it in the nachos. I wish we had more meat substitutions like this in the US! We also got the Mexican drinking chocolate, the tiramisu, and the Keylime pie. Everything was so tasty and the dessert was definitely the perfect way to under meal. My mom and I were staring at each other in disbelief with every incredible bite. On that note, my mom is not vegan and I am. Nonetheless, this was both of our favorite meals after 10 days in Cabo eating out all over town. My only regret is that we didn't come here every single day of our trip. Do not sleep on La Rana Vegana if you are in Cabo San Lucas!!

FIVE STARS! I can say with no hesitation that this is some of the best vegan food I have ever had, and I've been vegan for 10 years. I went with my friend who loves red meat, and she agreed that these were some of the best tacos she had ever eaten. The ambiance was intimate, quaint, and very inviting. I felt like I was having dinner at a friends house. I will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cabo. Note that they are CASH ONLY, and they do accept USD.

This is a darling little establishment. It's the brainchild of a woman whose mother is the chef. We went with two omnivores. We ordered the nacho for an appetizer and it was great! For our main meal we had the Caesar salad and a flat bread pizza. The dressing for the salad had peanuts in it which is an unusual flavor for Caesar salad and while we knew it would be in there from the description, was a little off putting. Our pizza was tasty but a tad undercooked so it was not crispy. Our dinner partners had the tacos and another nacho and were happy with their meal. We ordered the orange basil drink and while our partners didn't care for it, we thought it was delicious, refreshing and healthy tasting. Overall we enjoyed our visit very much and would encourage everyone to give it a try!

Loved the ambiance, friendly service and menu here. Try the fresh guacamole, asada tacos and mineral fruit infusions. Very tasty and glad I found a vegan restaurant in Cabo. Prices were very reasonable too! Highly recommend.

Amazing vegan food!!!! Just had the best vegan tacos, best guac of my life, and incredible vegan chocolate cake. As a vegan I was so happy to find this place while on vacation, especially because there aren't many vegan options in Cabo. I think we'll be coming back tomorrow night because once wasn't enough. Also the back patio is so cute. The whole place is cute, feels like you're in someone's house with all the original detailing. Please come and support this place, even if you aren't vegan!

The best vegan food in Cabo! This place has the most delicious tacos that we have have ever had here in Cabo! We absolutely loved the Pastor and the Campechano ! The nachos with vegan cheese was a bit too! The food served to us was freshly made! Would definitely recommend !!!! And all of this cost us $15. It was very reasonably priced.

Everything was really delicious and made fresh on the spot. The prices are great, especially for vegan food. Everyone is super friendly. The tacos were my favorite and they provided homemade salsa, red and green, we loved both of them. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for bomb, affordable food!

As a vegan who was struggling to find options in Cabo, this place was SOOO good! The best gems are whole in the wall secluded places off the strip. The food was FRESH not heavy in salts or sugars like the US. I enjoyed every bite

This restaurant was amazing! It's run by a sweet family who we're all so kind. I'm vegan and my girlfriend is not we both loved the food. We tried a few different items from the menu we had 4 different kinds of tacos we had the potato quesadilla and we had the Mexican calzone. Everything is made in house everything tastes fresh the salsa was amazing. This is truly one of the best places to eat in Cabo!

This place is fantastic! We had one of every taco, I'd get them all again! The pizza wears delightful as well. Very reasonable and such good vegan food! FYI: Bring cash, no cards because it's a small place! We made the mistake and they were so nice! They arranged to stop at the hotel to get cash from Us the next day! I don't recommend doing that to them though :) but am so appreciative they helped us out!

Great food, good service lovely ambience!! Loved those place! The waiter was single handedly managing all guests and it got quite busy while we were there but he managed great!

Vegan Heaven in Cabo Imagine having your Uber driver get stuck going up a dirt raid and sliding back three times until we emerged on another dirt road to find a house with a small sign. Up winding stairs among the several cats and little kids and emerge to a tiny patio with a couple of wood benches and a backyard bonfire with a circle of chanting and chill people. You know you found Authentic Cabo. And apparently the first pure vegan restaurant in Baja. The food was fabulous and real. Tacos for 90 cents and vegan pizza you've waited to find, with a glass mug of hibiscus water. And topped off with amazing carrot cake. Just go here!

We were searching for a restaurant with healthy food without pork products in Cabo. This is such a cute hole in the wall with the friendliest staff. The drinks were excellent - mineral water and ginger/lemon was so refreshing.

I stumbled across this place on my month long Cabo vacation and by far this was my favorite 'hole in the wall'. The place is run by a young Mexican chef Cynthia and her food is magic! She weaves modern presentations with 'grandmas recipes' to create beautiful food! The first time I visited there was just one other patron there at the time and I sat down at the 'family-style' table they had near him. I was fixated on the dishes he was eating... let's just say he was happy-happy Cynthia's boyfriend (Carlos I think) greeted me and we began to chat; he was a DJ and seafood chef that had recently decided to move back to Cabo and help Cynthia make her magic. We chatted a bit about Cabo, the local restaurant scene, tourist scene, urban tourism, and music... basically, I felt as if I was visiting a friend at his restaurant getting the low-down of the area. After a while, it was time to eat and I asked Carlos to pick a few things for me.... I wasn't disappointed!!! (By this time ts was just Cynthia and Carlos and I) First, there was the 7 hande made hot sauces .... the ones with the nuts are to die for... Cynthia explained that most of the sauces were from the part of Mexic she grew up in, but that a few of the others where with peppers from where Carlos grew up. Then Cynthia began to bring me several small dishes (that I hadn't even ordered...) each one was more amazing than the next (see photos) I guess I bugged Cynthia so much that when I got up to leave she brought me a few little to-go containers with some of the dried peppers she used to make here salsa's with instructions how to make them on my own... as well as a recommendation and direction to the local spice market for a bigger variety of spices. If you want to visit a unique, urban, foodie experience this is place is a must!!!

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.

We were recommended this place by our hotel (ME Hotel), so we came in with high expectations. What we ordered: *Two esquites *Two tacos *Beans *Two micheladas *One spicy margarita Our total came out to $150, which completely shocked me. The place itself does not have a high-end vibe or atmosphere, so the pricing just didn't match the experience at all. The service was nice, I'll give them that, but the food did not justify the cost. I've had way better tacos for way less. And trust me, I've had a lot of tacos in my lifetime. It honestly feels like this place is taking advantage of tourists with these prices.
