We had a great time here. Arrived on a Friday evening around dinner time, we were greeted friendly, seated and Nancy took care of us from the get go. She answered questions about drinks, and brought them out promptly. Also helped us pick tacos and recommended the cooked octopus, delicious. We also had carne asada and carnitas. All yummy and would order them again. I also had the mango smoothie and he had a Cadillac margarita and Modelo beer. Cute atmosphere, great, bright decor definitely add to the vibe. Kid friendly and adult friendly! If you're thinking about coming you definitely should!
Great little tourist spot perfect for taking bright colored pictures. Prices are a little expensive for it being Mexico and I expected the Tacos to be better considering all the reviews. My ceviche was a little bland but nothing a little lemon and salt couldn't help. they do prepare the guacamole at your table, which is kind of cool, but I recommend Gus's Nextdoor
Laura, she was our waitress and she was amazing. We had a big party and she listened, didn't mess up anything, gave us options when we had questions and was attentive. The sauces were delish, tacos were soo good full of flavor, guacamole and cheese flat tortillas, amazing! Such a great find from our friends!
This spot is amazing!!!! Reasonable price, great food great service. They give you multiple salsas to try with your dish. The margarita is charged and fresh. The aguachiles were mouth watering!!! Plus they give you large portions and are not stingy with their food! Everyone enjoyed their meal and it actually tasted like authentic Mexican food! The place is also super cute and nicely decorated has a bunch of lights and different sayings around the restaurant. I'll definitely be back! 10/10
Out of all the places we ate at on vacation in Cabo, La TAQUIZA was my hubby's favorite. From the food, to the service and atmosphere. All were awesome! Huge portions too. I got the torta and ate half there and the other later. Still delicious the 2nd time. My hubby got tacos and really enjoyed them. We had a few tequila shots as well. A must visit!
My husband and I took a cruise to Cabo San Lucas and wanted to try out a few taco places. I had read about this place on yelp and it was a few doors down from another place we just tried. We absolutely loved the atmosphere! He ordered an asada taco, and I ordered a grilled fish taco. They were served on a homemade flour tortilla. They brought out six different salsas. I was afraid to try a few since we were told they were really hot. Both of our tacos were delicious, and I'd definitely come back here again.

Just a short walk from the cruise terminal this place stands out amongst other tacos stands in all its pink, neon vintage aesthetic! Not only is the vibe super chill, the food is delicious! 12/16/2024 My first ever meal here in Mexico! I have always wanted to visit Mexico, and boarding a 7 day cruise on the Mexican Riviera made that a reality sooner than later. Where: in the central part of Cabo San Lucas. Our friendly tour guide that we paid for at the cruise port pointed out this colorful restaurant since we wanted tacos and margaritas. The restaurant: definitely a spot for the tourists, meaning us and everyone else. Light wood interior, colorful neon signage, and a tropical vibe highlights the restaurant. We sat at the front of the restaurant boarding the sidewalk because the only other available seating at the time was near the restroom. The wait staff: service was quite attentive and our meal came within minutes. What we ate: the obvious things to eat aside from concha's in Mexico are tacos and margaritas. The tacos and margaritas did not disappoint here. Tacos: birria, carnitas, chicken, fish, and steak - these really hit the spot. Drinks: lemon & mango margaritas, and hibiscus metzcalita. Big and delicious. The so-so: I think we were caught off guard by how much our meal came out to be, roughly USD $50 per person, with the inclusion of an 18% tip. I suppose we should have known better that our tour guide directed us to a touristy restaurant. We were expecting a much lesser meal in cost. Final thought: don't get me wrong, the food was fantastic, but that we could not justify the overall cost. Great experience above all.
Delicious food with an extensive menu including really fresh and delicious seafood! The kitchen allows you to see your food being prepared by the chef and the assistants. The fully stocked bar offers such creative beverages; this place has really beautiful and yummy drinks. We loved the interactive atmosphere including great servers, wandering talented and entertaining performer the decor- tiles, dishes, glasses, photo backdrops that are beautifully decorated with so much color . Even inside, you feel like you're dining alfresco.
La Taquiza is bright and fluorescent and impossible to miss from the street. The restaurant was large but surprisingly empty when I went. I ordered three tacos (carne asada, al pastor, and pescado) and all were good but not amazing. I also ordered churros and they were freshly fried and probably the best part of the meal. Overall a good meal and worth a try, but not the best tacos I've ever had.
On most mornings of our vacation, my genius plan...was to wake up leisurely and go out for tacos, This place might have been day 3 and a worthy competitor. When we got there - all the workers were all at a big table enjoying a meal, I felt kinda bad breaking up the party - but I was hungry! Hubby got some kind of veggie omelet that was served with a version of chilaquiles on the side (huge bonus!) I was sticking with my taco routine, I got one on a flour tortilla and one on a cheese crust (these cheese crusts are all over the place in Cabo, I think they are there for those folks doing no carbs, which was definitely not my motivation). Anyway they were both excellent. And shout out to Laura our server who interrupted her own meal to make ours feel special. read more
This place is insanely good... we always try to go here when a cruise ship stops here. We got a margarita and taco special for 15 dollars and some Chicken enchiladas, all this came with a lot of different salsas... Best bang for your buck in Cabo! read more

We asked a local to take us to a local restaurant, and they took us to this tourist trap. I ordered one beef taco and a piña colada. The beef tasted like pork, and the piña colada was watery. When they brought the bill, it was in USD and the conversion they used made my bill 11% higher than the conversation rate listed on Google. They then asked for a tip on top of that before swiping the card, and tipping is not even customary in Mexico per my local friends. All around, a horrible experience. Other than their fans (which made the hot weather tolerable) and the cute decor, there's nothing that would make me return here. read more

Randomly stopped at this restaurant and we weren't disappointed! Salsa variety was so good. A nice range from mild to spicy. My shrimp fajitas were delicious!! They had a mix of peppers, onions and bacon. Margaritas were tasty too! Laura provided really good service. read more

La Taquiza is bright and fluorescent and impossible to miss from the street. The restaurant was large but surprisingly empty when I went. Wowzers. If there is a restaurant that is an absolute must for some daytime drinks and bites then La Taquiza is going to have to be a must for your travels to Cabo San Lucas. We were walking the town and after checking out the leather shop right next door, everyone's stomachs began talking to us and we agreed it was time for a late lunch. The music was bumping at La Taquiza and we were ready for a fun time. This photo-centric spot is perfect for group photos and is so beautiful in person. The glass shaped hearts attached to the ceiling to the mosaic tiles at the bar giving it that posh touch. You'll even discover a photo-op moment with a splash of pink behind a wall of Casa Azul tequila bottles. We were promptly seated and had the chance to take a look at the menu and damn did they cover all the grounds for a delicious Mexican meal. Our table grabbed an order of house margaritas and I made the hard decision to enjoy a frozen mango margarita. Now for the sake of research, I have to say that this was probably one of the best frozen margaritas I've had in my life. I'm not taking that statement lightly when I say that either. The mango was not some pre-batch mixer nor was it overtly sweet, instead think of freshly pure mango to give the natural flavors of mango. After being served a tray of totopos and salsas, we started our meal with an order of their queso fundido with chorizo. The amount of cheese oozing from the molcajete was literally steaming and bubbling. Every bite was pure bliss and super savory with the right amount of chorizo. It was hard not to eat the whole dish alone. The bonus moment was the fried cheese served alongside it for the extra crunch. Everyone had a few different items to enjoy but I had to go with their tacos including their tripitas. Now for anyone who has had tripas, y'all know that you have to make sure they'pre properly cooked. Their tripas tacos were crispy and so delicious. So much so I had to order a second one lol. Make sure to splurge and make one (or two) of your tacos costra style and enjoy the extra layer of crispy cheese. Their pastor and asada tacos were well seasoned and very nice portions. What makes this a standout is the level of customer service and attentiveness. I can't stress enough how much everyone needs to go out and dine at La Taquiza! read more
Super cute taco spot/ full Mexican restaurant. Cute colorful decor, friendly service by Manuel, and great, reasonable food! Today, I tried the pastor taco ($46 pesos), and carnitas taco $52 pesos)- both delicious! Especially with a bit of their salsas added: pico de Gallo, avocado and yellowish habanero (medium spicy; not bad). The couple next to me was sweating by their Quesadilla birria tacos, with au jou dipping sauce. They said they walk here 20 minutes every day to get them! They only come in an order of 3 (for $330 pesos), and only wanted two,, but will come back w/ my family to try them! read more

They hook it up with everything. A salsa platter with salsas from pico de Gallo, to spicy habenero! Tacos are delicious. It was spicy so proceed at your own risk with the habenero. We tried them on corn and flour and they were top notch. You can't go wrong. The margaritas were also really good and refreshing! Service was great, our waiter took care of us and was very responsive to our wishes. The ambiance was a classic Mexican Cantina vibes. read more

Awesome taco place! I've tried Tacos Guss in the past but it didn't leave an impression on me like La Taquiza did. Walked up around 10 am and was looking at their promo signs out front. 3 tacos (your choice of pollo, asada, or pastor) and a beer (corona or Pacifico) for $9 usd. An older gentlemen who I assume might've been the owner, came out to greet me and seated me. I ordered the 3 taco promo (2 pastor, 1 asada and a corona). Delicious is all I can say! Asada was flavorful and exactly what you'd look for, not that unseasoned chewiness but that al pastor was the star. It was extremely flavorful, easily one of the best I've ever had and portion sizes of the tacos were perfect. It came with a large salsa plate with ton of variety, the avocado and verde were perfect for my taste. Absolutely recommended if you're visiting read more

Great place and very friendly staff. The parrillada was our favorite of the dishes. The ceviche and tostadas needed a tad of salt but still very good. I'm partial to ceviche with tostadas and here they served it with tortilla chips and saltine crackers and it worked. The portions were good. Very shareable read more
This was the first place I ate at when I got to Cabo San Lucas!! Very friendly service, it was pretty warm in here, so we sat next to the fan, kept cool plus it kept the flies away, lol!! The salsa platter was good, I stayed away from the really hot salsa. I had 2 grilled fish tacos, they were pretty good. Very colorful restaurant on the inside, lots of tourists in here also, good place!! read more
I was excited to stop by and tried this place as it had good review on both Google and Yelp. I can only speak to the tacos I tried (battered fish, battered shrimp and grilled octopus) - they were fairly average. The batter tacos didn't do it for me in terms of flavor. The best taco out of the three I tried was definitely the grilled octopus one. It was worth trying but not sure if this will be a repeat spot for us when we visit Cabo in the future. read more

The food was fresh and delicious. We had shrimp cocktail and enchiladas tacos and ceviche. Can't really go wrong, but those are the best. The drinks were amazing. You get a beer and a shot of tequila if you choose. ANDRES was an amazing server very attentive. The decor is great lots of history great signs. The ambience is low-key and chill. read more

We stopped here for a quick snack after getting off our ship at Cabo. It is within walking distance and just far enough that it's not a total tourist trap. The prices of the tacos and margaritas are a little more than I expected. It's about on par with a nice nice here in the states. But with that said, we didn't mind paying for good tasting tacos and good margaritas. The tacos de la casa style tacos I got were a combination of flavorful meats and vegetables. I couldn't remember which one I got, but there were 3 choices and our group got them and they were all tasty. I can attest since I got one of them. Service wise here was spotty. We had a large group of 15 and although I know how difficult it can be navigating and serving all of us at the same time but they had forgotten a few things like chips. We got their salsa platter right away and it's so decorative! The salsa in the middle is their hottest, but it's about a 6 out of 10 for me. You can pay in either pesos or dollars which you can see on the bottom of the bill. There's a band of that comes around to sing to you here, of course you'll have to tip them if you request a song. I would come again, try a few different things, and maybe come with less people. read more

Getting tacos after having "tacos." Had Al Pastor tacos three ways, and all were very good! I guess all places in this tourist town is expensive. I expected pricing to be a lot less in Cabo than the Bay Area, instead it is more. Great taco's though! read more

Out of a ton of places we could have chosen to eat when we arrived by cruise ship today, we chose this place based on reviews and cute curb appeal. We had such amazing service and the food and drinks exceeded expectations for a touristy town. The meat was great quality, and the salsas were spicy enough for me. Pina coladas were perfect. It was a nice treat to not get bamboozled with poor quality food on a tourist budget. Today's pick was excellent. We would highly recommend. The prices were also normal for American people. I hate to get ripped off with a bad meal but this place was great. The wait staff went above and beyond with service. read more
Our cruise ship stopped at Cabo pretty early (9am) and not many restaurants were open but this place was. The decor was authentic and service was excellent, our waiter was attentive, friendly, and spoke good English. We ordered a couple of tacos, a quesadilla and Margaritas. The food was good, the quesadilla was smaller than I'm used to. The margaritas were excellent, bonus was the festive glasses. The chips were good, salsa was spicy, even the mild! read more

Everything about La Taquiza is amazing! My husband and I were in Cabo for 7 days and we came to La Taquiza 3 times. Each time, our waitresses, Nancy and her daughter, were nothing short of incredible! We felt like family here and will definitely be coming back. We recommend La Taquiza 10/10 for service, food and drinks! read more
