When you sit down to eat, don't expect them to bring you chips and salsa, that's not how they "do it" here. They'll bring you a menu and you can order a la carte tacos,burritos, tortas (big sandwiches), tamales with different meat choices including beef, chicken, pork, and other more authentic meat choices (I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to discover those new tastes for themselves). They have a TV on at all times playing Mexican soap operas (during lunch). If you want real Mexican food in Montgomery (anywhere for that matter), then you need to try this restaurant.
