We called and they said they would comp our next meal. After we drove another 30 minutes, I apologized (for no reason) and the snobby girls at the desk just handed me my meat. I felt like they were laughing as me like I was lying. My husband went inside because they hadn't even asked for my name to comp our next meal as promised. He said it looked like she wrote it on a receipt and balled it up and threw it in the trash. He called back to speak to a manager whom was very polite. When you sit down to eat, don't expect them to bring you chips and salsa, that's not how they "do it" here. They'll bring you a menu and you can order a la carte tacos,burritos, tortas (big sandwiches), tamales with different meat choices including beef, chicken, pork, and other more authentic meat choices (I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to discover those new tastes for themselves). They have a TV on at all times playing Mexican soap operas (during lunch). If you want real Mexican food in Montgomery (anywhere for that matter), then you need to try this restaurant. This is not Tex-Mex or any other Americanized watered down food, it is the real deal.
