You have to order the paellas for at least 2 people and this one was (24 GBP per person). The rice was decent with some flavor from the seafood stock, but didn't wow me. There were also a handful of squid and sugar snaps on top. King scallop - The scallop was presented beautifully (refer to my photo) and while it was good, 13 GBP for one scallop is hard to justify... As mentioned though the interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with a cool open kitchen, where you can see them cooking the paella and other dishes. The service was great, as the staff are super friendly, attentive, and the service speed is fast. Overall, if you care more about a nice environment, then Arros QD is a great option, but if you care more about good value, then this might not be the best. Aubergine tapas: I thought it would be mushy style, but its a whole baby eggplant and I think it's all in the ajo Blanco sauce that comes with it. A slice of bread, toasted, rubbed with garlic, rubbed roughly with a ripe tomato, slightly salted and drizzled with olive oil. I could eat that every single day and LOSE WEIGHT. The Bermondsey Bomba was like a giant Porto Bakery (forgive me Jose) Potato Ball with more meat in a spicy sauce placed on top of a bed of aioli with a dollop of seasoned tomato paste on top. I could eat these every single day and GAIN WEIGHT. The Boquerones were heavenly. The Clams with Garlic and Parsley, devine. And the Patatas Bravas...come on man, they're just potatoes! Crispy on the outside, soft and warming on the inside. Once again, the aioli and seasoned tomato paste just brings it all together. Service was warm and friendly.
