Easy to find this place same plaza with the silo, second floor. I Love coming here cause it's local and she's a small business as well. I have been using Lee Mee for the last 4 years. I usually come at the end of the year for myself to treat myself. I've done natural, more open eyes and a even hybrid and volume. I Love the beautiful job she always does with my lashes, makes me feel like a million bucks. She really light with her hands I barely feel her doing my lashes. She is pretty booked so get your refill appointment sooner rather then later. If you have a idea you can always ask her and see what she says. These lashes are good for 2-3 weeks before they fall off with your natural lashes. Refills can be 2-3 weeks from the time you get them day one. I don't normally write bad reviews if I have nothing good to say, but I really couldn't let this one go without leaving a review. I've gotten my lashes done twice here. First time was great and second time was horrendous. I am traumatized. She glued my lashes onto my skin. I was itchy for the first couple days and figured it would get better. NOT! My eyes are swollen and itchy all the time. Instead of rushing with their work, they should take time with each client. She gave me a full refund because she glued the lashes onto my skin. I texted her for removal and she never responded. I excepted at least a response, but nothing. She should've offered to take them off for free. Never coming back here. Highly disappointed. read more

I really like this place, because it's super private and relaxing. She offers complimentary water and has a book out for your choice of length in lashes. For my first time I got a size 12 thinking it wasn't going to be long for MY eyes but it turns out that they were pretty long for my eyes. But they still look really really good. I expected some sort of pain but I didn't really get that as well. I got the natural set and they don't look super dramatic in terms of fullness. I think I wouldn't have liked it if they were super full. Next time for sure I will get a shorter length in lashes (hybrid 11/22) for my fill! Overall my first time experience was great. So I've been going to see Lee Mee for the past 8-9 months (fills every 2/3 weeks total ~15+ visits). I wanted to write the most comprehensive review as possible. I always try to get my lashes done by My Le, she takes suggestions very well. Some weeks I wanted dramatic, some I wanted open eye and sometimes longer/shorter. She always accommodates with what I want but also giving input of what she thinks might look best with my face and eye shape. Over the course of time that I've been with her, I've seen her business grow rapidly. What makes her and her business stand out is how she services me and really gives me "the look" that I want. To be completely honest... there were a couple times where I wasn't happy with my fill, but I informed her about it and she happily fixed it for me. It's a really small office area, but they decorated the lounge so that you're waiting in a very cute and chic environment. They prefer you paying with cash but if you use card, they charge 10%. I made an appointment online and they recommend that you make one asap since they get pretty booked. I chose the option Cat eye full set one, length 13. They have many different options and pictures to show you! Oh and it was only $70! So cheap! And located in Davis so students don't have to leave to get their lashes done The glue that they used stung one of my eyes for a bit but luckily my eyes are fine now. I recommend you coming in a few days before so that they can test their glue on a small part of your body. That way, you'll know for sure that you won't have a bad reaction to the glue. read more

I live in Rocklin and haven't found a place with good pricing, so it was good that I came upon this location. Next visit, I'm hoping she takes more time on me. My appointment had to be changed from Saturday to Friday evening due to booking, so she stayed open after business hours. I felt a bit rushed, and the work was not as it looked in photos. However I do like her work, based on her yelp pictures and reviews, and would come back. Update: Compared to my most recent visit to my usual lash girl in the OC (I travel for work so I will go the distance for my beauty work), I've had to reconsider this review. Couldn't maintain my girl a four while also giving this a four. Not the same work. If you're looking to save a few bucks, I'd go here. It's centrally located so that students can go here for an affordable price. However if you're looking for quality lashes, this isn't your best bet. I'd really suggest this place to invest in quality lashes. I've had synthetic mink and they don't feel like the ones here, which are harsh and harder. My lashes were glued so close to my lash line that blinking hurt. My lashes were also not aligned but were shuffled. Some lashes were glued in awkward directions. Good work requires honing in on your current skills, receiving and absorbing constructive critique, and investing in quality glue and lashes. She upped her prices and didn't even let anybody know?? I liked paying $60 because I thought it was worth what I always got. When I first started coming here they used to take their time and finish after an hour, my lashes lasted about a whole month. Now I always feel very rushed and it only takes about 30 minutes! I feel like they just stack them on top of each other and call it a day lol. I'm still trying to grow back my eyelashes because so many had fallen out! originally i was dissatisfied--the tech used too much glue and it burned the whole month anytime my eyes watered. UPDATE: since the first appointment, i have returned. the service was exceptional and the older lady was very efficient and gentle. NO BURNING THIS TIME!! They lasted well over 3 weeks, but i got a fill at the end of week three just to keep it consistent. I have had two fils since I went back the second time and have been very happy! This place is great if you want cheap lashes. When I first got them done, they looked great but I was suspicious because the lady did them really fast and one of my eyes stung a little bit. Fast forward 2 weeks later and my eyes were super itchy so I started pulling some of the extensions off and realized most of them were attached to more than one lash. They were also stacked on top of each other, leaving my eyes super irritated. I had to pull them all out because of the irritation and my own lashes inevitably came with them. Some extensions were even attached to 3 or 4 lashes... so now I have barely any left. Great! read more

This place is the worst lash place I ever been to. The place is unsanitary you're lying on the same bed they never changes the towel or bedding a new client comes in and lays in the same bedding you just had. They are very rude when you asking questions concerning your eyes. My eyes burned so badly at the last appointment, I was scared of going blind. I asked her why were my eyes burning so badly? Her reply was "it's ok" she kept doing my lashes w/ a fan on them. She never put water or anything on them to cool my eyes down. Every appointment I left with my eyes blood shot red. I'll never return also, my real lashes are off and it took my new lash tech hrs to get these lashes off due to she double glued half of em.. overbooking clients and not taking care of clients. it's quick work that's not done correctly that's how they finish so fast on your eyes. She hosts in her apt and has her station in her living room, looks cute and comfy. First, she looked at my lashes seeing what it can handle considering how I wanted full set #2. She cleaned my lashes and taped down my bottom lashes and started her work! She was delicate with her hands and it lasted 50 minutes ~ time went by. It stung a little as I first opened my eyes after getting it done but then I adjusted to the light and weight of lashes. It wasn't too bad and looked amazing. If I could give zero stars I would, this was my first visit and safe to say I will never be coming back or recommending this place to anybody. Let's start with the fact that my eyes were burning so bad the whole time and when I spoke up about it the lady said and I quote "it's ok it's fine". She placed lashes on my SKIN, while also placing multiple lash fans on one of my natural lashes. My eyes and eye lids physically HURT after my appointment. Right when I left I scheduled a removal somewhere else because I don't trust this place with my eyes at all. The overall environment was very unwelcoming and rushed, the lady who did my lashes finished in less than 30 minutes and was super rough with my eyes. Do not get your lashes done here if you care about your natural lashes. She Clumps them together and they pull out your natural lashes, not to mention uncomfortable because they pull on your lashes before they finally come out. Be aware: you will get what you pay for. Overall this is not a pleasant experience for me. They are using cheap materials and that's fair because you only pay $70 for a natural set. I have very insensitive eyes. Normally I can wear contact lenses for a whole day without getting dryness or redness. However my eyes were red for the whole day ever since I got the extension done, and my eyes were burning during the whole process. My extension only took around 30min but from some online research I was expecting for a 40-60 min session. She glued my outer eye corner so I asked her to fix it. (I could still open my eye but I felt a big chunk stuck on the corner) She checked and said there was nothing on my eye so in the end she simply removed a few lashes on my glued eye corner without putting new lashes back. It's been only two days since I got the extension and the lashes are falling off, especially from the glued eye! I highly doubt that my extension could last for a week. Later, I also noticed that she put lashes on my real lashes, eyelid and waterline?! Not sure this is a legit way for eyelash extension, but my lashes do not look good. (And they hurt) This is definitely a place for whoever don't want to spend a lot of money. But if you get a cheap extension that only last half of the normal time, plus the irritation it might cause. Let me start off by saying I'm disgusted, upset, and in pain. Frustration is an understatement. Salon: the environment was nice, decor was cute. I liked the quietness and the relaxing feel you get. Music wasn't to loud or crazy. Eyelashes: I have gotten them done here 4-5 times. I thought they were good until I realized they were stuck to my actual eyelid and they were glued to multiple of my own natural lashes. My eyes had been red before but nothing concerned by it. Until my last time 2 weeks ago I went in for my normal fill, the young man was extremely rude because I had asked to make them slightly fuller then last time. He consistently ripped off my lashes that had grown out (it hurt bad, my eyes were tearing up). He only took about 20 mins and they weren't even close to what I normally got. The next morning my eyelids started peeling and continued peeling for the last two weeks, I had to get them professionally removed because I had chemical burn from there glue (which I had never gotten before). My eyes still are burning and I will not be returning to this place. I didn't realize how dirty the areas are, they do not change their pliers or bed sheets after every client. I do not think the glue they are using is lash glue another client explained to me they are using super glue (I don't know if I truly believe that). Overall I'm frustrated as the glue should never touch the eyelid only the hair. I hope no one comes to this shop. And goes somewhere else. read more

I dont even know where to begin. I have been a client of Lee Mee for maybe about 5 years now? She is hands down the best at lashes. I was so scared to get extensions because I never thought someone could come close to making them look as flawless and full and LONG as those dramatic strip lashes and let me just tell you, a million and seven times better. I never like to write negative yelp reviews, but this is for the people who are thinking about getting their lashes done here. Booking an appointment: You have to book it 2-4 weeks in advanced because they book up so FAST! Be warned!! Location: It isn't too hard to find, it is on the second floor of the plaza, near T-kumi. She sends a follow up email after you book your appointment on how to find the place. You will need a code to get in or you can ring the doorbell. Prices: Pricing is fairly cheaper here than a lot places, especially in the Bay Area. But you are paying for what you get! Lashing: I chose Lee Mee to do my lashes and she was very nice to me since it was my first time. I was nervous because I read reviews that she glued some clients eyes, but I had hope since this place still has many good reviews. I chose full set 1: 13 mm, mix of c and d curl, and doll eyes. She worked really fast... less than 40 minutes...usually it takes an lash artists 1-3 hours to finish. Even after this process, you can tell that she did not put a lash extension on each individual real lash. The bed and the room is very comfy and cute! However, I did notice that she would spend more time on one eye than the other. When it was time to open my eyes and go near the fan, she glued one of my eyes shut. I was so scared and nervous but she removed the glue and fix the lashes. I understand that they have a lot of clients, but I think quality over quantity is key in every business. Aftercare of Lashes: I've only had the lashes on for less than a week and so many of it has fallen off! Since this is my first time, I didn't know until after that I shouldn't be doing a dramatic lash extension because it will be heavy on the eyes. Everyone should work towards a dramatic eye (if you're looking into it), not jumping straight into it like I did. I'm not so sure that they're knowledgeable on that part since you have to option to choose any set: natural, full set, full set 2, etc. I recommend starting with natural and working your way up to full set. Also, you can definitely tell that the glue and lashes they use are cheap. One time, the lash extension they put on fell and I saw 3-4 of my real lashes on it. The past yelp reviews are true when they say they stack the lash extension on your real lashes. Normally, one lash extension goes to one lash, but they put one lash extension to a few real lashes. Also, the lashes are really heavy on the ends for me since she stacked 2 lash extension on top of each other. You can tell that this was rushed! The lashes were pretty for the first few days, but after that it's been going down hill. My eyes are so itchy and I regret getting them done. She gives out a mascara wand brush and a little pamphlet on what to do for aftercare. I think that doing research outside of what they say is more beneficial because it doesn't mention that you should wash your lashes everyday or really how to take care of them so they can lasts longer. My real lashes are falling off and this was a painful experience. I have no hate towards their business; I'm just writing my truthful experience. read more

I live in the Bay Area and used to drive to Davis just to have her do my lashes. She could fit me in and work with my schedule, but the past few times the quality has not been there (I've been with her since January). I wanted a full look, and she gave me that, however when my lashes fell out, you could definitely tell that she was not careful when glueing the lash (see pictures).
