So back in 2011, 2012, I went for a makeup appt before my civil wedding on a Thursday. I think at that time, the owner was trying out this new service. Well I was the Guinea pig. The make up sucked, left my face dry, and honestly, she just didn't have the artistic skills. Upon making the appt, she asked what time I wanted to come. I said oh 9am. Well AFTER the service was done, she charged me extra for coming in at 9am! Say what? I complained as to why and she said because they didn't open until 10am!!! I asked her why did she not advise to this before I scheduled it, thinking they opened at 9am- I wasn't even asking for a special time to come in. How would I know her business hrs? She still was a jerk and didn't waive it. Guess what? No tip. My mom had a bad experience too. The owner "was done" with the haircut. Usually the hair stylist asked if all okay and turns you around to see the back and sides. Well my mom said to cut that little extra chunk that was sticking out. Well! She cut it off and charged her more because it was "supposedly" a special request?!! Say what! That woman is greedy crazy. Never has happened elsewhere! We never returned! We sin't know if she's still in business or if karma caught up to her! read more

OK, so I don't know why I keep giving this salon a chance. I guess because since my husband always gets his cut here and it always comes out so perfect or I don't know. I have been there several times and they never get it right! They always want to add layers and never give me recommendations on what will look nice on me, based on my face shape. They always say "whatever you want." I notice that MEN are always getting their cut here , so I am guessing they don't put a lot of effort on women's hair. I do recommend this place for men but as for women, stay away! The parking sucks because of the other stores in that plaza. OH! And let me tell you..... the "receptionist" is REALLY rude! I called there on Christmas eve and talked to her in Spanish to see if I could get in before they close and she said "I DON'T"T SPEAK SPANISH" so I was like OK and then I asked politely in English and she said yeah come in. I got there in less than 5 min. and she asked me in SPANISH if I was here to get my hair cut. I was like HOLD UP! Have you been here this whole time answering phones, she said yes, I was like i THOUGHT you didn't speak Spanish?? she was like well, we're already closed so you have to comeback after Christmas to get your haircut... WOW! i love this place, i have been going here for years! Jane is the owner and is the only person who works there thats why she only takes customers by appointments. she is amazing i love her! very clean place, affordable for most people. she does amazing eye brow waxing, facials, hair cuts, hair coloring and much more. she's very much a people person and knows all her clients by name and there whole family background! haha! My Ode to Jane--- Oh Jane, my dear and beloved Jane. How I love you so If you could only know. Okay, I cant write worth s**t....but you get my point. My WHOLE family, and when I say my WHOLE family, I really mean my WHOLE family sees Jane!! From uncles, cousins, aunts, mothers, grandmothers, uncles wives.....I mean the list is endless and we love JANE! LOVE THIS LADY there is seriously no one like her. We've all been going to Jane for I wanna say 15 years or so. She does awesome facials, using dermalogica products, she also does microdermabrasion and microdermabrasion with facials which can get expensive from hat I've heard shes the cheapest and she does a fine damn good job at it too! She always makes my skin look BOMB!! Not to mention hair cuts, hair dyes. I've also been one of her ginney piggs for the Japanese Thermal Hair Straighting treatments. and her price at the time in 2004 for this treatment was freakin CHEAP compared to other salons who were charing a ridiculous amounts of 300 and up. At the time it was between 150-250 depending on hair length and so on. She really knows her stuff and knows what shes doing to your hair she'll advise good stuff and if she doesn't think you should dye your hair a certain color, she'll tell you the honest truth. Jane is the do-it-all woman. she's awesome, super friendly, and if you need someone to talk to like spill all your secrets, jane will be there to listen. her work is great and prices are reasonable. she is consistently takes classes to learn the newest techniques so she definitely moves with the times. offers full and partial highlights, full dye or touch up, haircuts duh!, facials, waxing, japanese thermal straightening, permanents, styling. she usually runs on time, if she runs a little bit behind it's like 10 minutes no big deal. read more

This place is A+ when it comes to skin care. Jane knows what to do to fix your skin problems and does it fast. I had really really DARK under eye circles and in 3 treatments I literally don't have to wear concealer. She also never pushes treatments or tries to up sell you, she just gives you what you need to achieve what you want and she will even give you a sample if you're unsure about a new product. Jane is amazing! I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I know a good haircut from a bad one and she's fabulous! I've been coming to Jane since I was about 15 and now 32 I still come to get my hair cut by her! Most of my family also gets their haircut and or waxing and facials done by Jane. Jane is awesome! I'm very picky when it comes to having someone cut or style my hair but began coming to see Jane after my mom highly recommended her. I gave it a shot and I haven't looked back.
