Very chill atmosphere seated on one of the winding streets of Capri. I had the seafood pasta, which was incredibly rich and delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. I'm not saying that he intentionally hurt him, nor am I saying that he should be fired. I simply think that a little humility and basic courtesy should be taught. I am Italian but I live in Los Angeles. I don't consider myself superior to anyone, but I certainly don't consider myself inferior to a 20-year-old who works in Capri either. Responding to customers is basic good manners. A smile is free, and unfortunately, it is truly sad that nowadays, after spending more than €200 (we also ordered food), you can't even expect someone to make the slightest effort to be courteous.
