Ashley listened to my concerns, was fair and reasonable and very talented! She gave me highlights and low lights with it looking so natural but it just made my normal hair color look less drab and lifeless and more va-va-voom! It has been a bit over a month and I'm thinking about when I should go back for a trim and looking forward to it. I'm a bit shy with spending money on things that don't have perceived value so I know that I have the value, the experience and her expertise to bring me back. Since moving to Napa from NYC 4 years ago, I've been going to Ashley Duncan (the salon owner) at La Rouge and she is truly phenomenal. I have naturally wavy hair, and Ashley cuts and styles it so I don't need to blow dry it, and am still able to look polished with a healthy sheen. Moving from SF to Napa I was incredibly nervous about switching hair stylists - but I found Mackenzey my first time coming to La Rouge and I immediately knew she was my girl (and has been for 3 years now). She is incredibly talented and I've trusted her on many transitions as I like to switch things up color-wise with the seasons. She spent hours on my hair seeing as I wanted to go blonde but the last color my hair was dyed was red. Red is very hard to get out.
