So this time I upgraded to a "deluxe" bouquet and they sent me a preview of my arrangement pre-delivery and I did not think it was up to standards of what I paid for so I said so. The picture on the website that I was shown was a full blossoming rounded arrangement that I thought my mom would love, and what was previewed was so skimpy (second photo). However, I got a call and they said they totally agreed and would fix it before it went out. I really love floral shops. Who isn't happy to see gorgeous flowers and you usually go into one to buy them as a present! I always want to support small businesses and was excited when I went into LaSalle Flower Group especially since it's conveniently located by my work. Unfortunately, the staff at LaSalle are not very friendly. I've gone in twice. The first time thinking that the bad attitude from the staff was just a one-off experience. However, the 2nd time I came in, the experience completely put me off from supporting this business. There was no one in the front to greet me. After 5 mins of standing in the front, a woman in the back kind of peeked out at me. She didn't say anything and continued to do whatever she was doing in the back. I waited another 7 minutes and just felt stupid like they didn't want my business. But I gently yet loudly said "hi, can you help me?" to whoever was in the back. The woman came to the front and just looked at me, didn't even ask how she can help. I then asked for a bouquet for a graduation. She proceeded to put together a bouquet but her attitude was just horrible. She looked like she was upset to be at work or that she had a bad day. She checked me out and just went back to the back.
