This review is personal and deserves recognition. Me and my family went here for dinner Sunday night. The young man, prob college age went so above and beyond that I want it documented. We ordered sandwiches and he asked if we wanted the sandwiches toasted. My 6 year old said yes and he graciously smiled at her and then he noticed she was missing her 2 front teeth. He looked at her and said "sometimes our bread gets really toasty and since you're missing your front teeth maybe we don't toast it so it doesn't hurt your mouth". I was floored. Tucked away in a side street a quick hop away from the ever-popular Wynwood Walls, this bustling little bistro is part of a Miami-based chain serving up tasty quick bites that won't break the bank! This particular location is small, but has both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant interior is fun and inviting, with a colorful mural reminiscent of Wynwood's street art, and a beautifully painted bar/countertop area with eclectic orange seats! Ordering is fast and easy - there are customizable "base" sandwiches and salads starting at around $7.50, and you add toppings of your choice (all veggies are free, meats/proteins/cheese will run a couple extra dollars). The lady that took our order was friendly and efficient, handling many different orders at once, and all of our orders came out in less than ten minutes! Three of my friends ordered sandwiches: the standard ones come on a French baguette, but you can also choose a wheat baguette or croissant for an additional cost ($1). One of my friends got the Napoli ($11.20), which comes with Prosciutto and Mozzarella - she said it was the best sandwich she's had, reminiscent of a Caprese salad. Another friend got the Italian ($12.50), with Ham, Genoa Salami, Prosciutto and Provolone. Again, she also agreed that these were some pretty damn good sandwiches! A third friend customized a prosciutto sandwich to her liking with veggie toppings ($9.50). She was wowed by the price of her dish, as well as the flavor. Everyone enjoyed the texture and quality of the French baguette, and the portion size was definitely filling! Lastly, I ordered their French Riviera Salad ($8.80), which comes with lettuce, tomatoes, green & hot peppers, black olives, onions, cucumbers, french pickles, carrot & boiled egg. I also opted to add prosciutto on top for an extra $2.80 (and honestly, adding a protein for under $6 in Miami is a win in my book). The salad was a huge portion with plenty of fresh vegetables, and 5 generous pieces of prosciutto. It seems like they only have one option for dressing on all of their salads/sandwiches called "Magic Sauce" (it's French Vinaigrette), which was solid if not stellar, and I kind of wished that they'd had some more options. However, for a protein-packed, filling salad coming in at under $13 with tip and tax, I'm not complaining!
