Don't purchase anything form this store. I had The worst experience today. The woman owning the store is a dishonest liar and a cheat. If there was a cero review I would use it. Don't purchase from this place. I need two shapers one for daughter one for me. I purchase only one $60 shaper asked if it could be exchanged in case I didn't fit the lady said yes. I walk a couple blocks pay to go try it on at a public restroom, doesn't fit, doesn't flatter. I return to exchange it they give me a complete different shaper I asked if price is same she says yes. I tell her I need another if it fits my daughter I'll buy it, she then gives me her business card and says " we have an online store if you don't want to come all the way here to purchase". So on my way home I open the QR on the card to their online store and discover that the exact shaper I got last is listed $34.99 on their website so I return to their store. Almost $25 difference. I ask her why she did that, first she lies and tells me is wholesale price. I continue to payment part on their website and shows same $34.99 Then she says , that's not my website I demand my money back and she refuses. I ask for the difference then applying taxes $14.75 She refuses and tells me "get out of my store" many times tries to come close to force me but gets held by husband. I called police no answer, they called district security saying im disturbing, when I never insult them or cause any other thing but demand my money. Security comes, listening to my side of the story first then theirs. I only get $10 back, instead of almost $25 I was taken advantage of. Don't be the next one. read more

There are a dozen places to buy go-go wear in the Fashion District, but this is the one I make a beeline to every time. The owners ( a wonderful couple) and their assistant (so sweet) always make it a point to give their best service and are extremely knowledgeable about their stock. It's as easy as walking in and giving a short description, minutes later they have pulled everything that fits the criteria in my size. It's like Google, but in person. Great prices, a wide variety of stock and sizes and they take cards, what more can you ask for? I have and will continue to direct my friends away from the madness of the Alley to this actual mom and pop small business. read more

Came here to get a few items but when I arrived I realized what I asked for was very vague. Luckily everyone in the store was very helpful. The husband and wife were helping me with styles, sizes, etc and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. The girl in the front was also very helpful, she was able to answer my questions about other items I was curious about. Even aside from the customer service, their store is great! They have an insane selection, prices are fair and somewhat negotiable, AND THEY ACCEPT CARDS. This was awesome as I had z e r o cash on me. I even stopped by some of the other similar stores to see what else was out there and that solidified my feelings about donna di capri. Next time I need lingerie (or anything else they have in there) this is definitely where I'll be coming. read more

I went here to buy my girlfriend a pair of boyshorts, pantyhose, and leg warmers for LED. As a dude, I don't know anything about women's clothing. Thanks to the wonderful workers, I was able to make the right purchase, as to what styles were in, how sizing is, etc. They even gave me a free panty along with my purchase. Variety is great as they have both brand name products and generic ones if you're under a tight budget. Would have totally given them 5 stars but there are no fitting rooms. They however do allow size exchanges if the fit is not on point. read more

I did not visit the actual store but instead bought one of their items through the Amazon Marketplace. What a terrible choice and horrible disaster it has been since that moment. First, they sent me the wrong color item, which might have been an honest mistake but unfortunately they were out of stock on the particular item I ordered when I wanted to make an exchange. That's a little suspect, perhaps they realized they didn't have the item I ordered and instead of cancelling the order they sent me the wrong color. I proceeded to go through the refund process under Amazon and after sending the item back, I ordered it from a different website. About 2 weeks later, I received the original item I wished to purchase from Donna DiCapri instead of receiving the refund I had been expecting. Unfortunately I now have two of the same item because they clearly ignored my request for a refund and instead took it upon themselves to do an exchange instead. Shipping to California from Virginia is close to $10 and they can forget about me shipping the exchanged item they sent me. I have fulfilled my part of the refund policy by requesting a refund, printing off and filling out necessary information, and returning the item to their store. I've already put my own money into this ridiculous ordeal and I'm tired of dealing with this stupid nonsense. Just another business here doing anything for a sale and avoiding refunds like the plague. AVOID, especially for online shopping! read more
