Ok breakfast considering it's, well, breakfast. The service is courteous, friendly and fast. Prices…read moreare reasonable and you get a big variety of choices. I chose a full breakfast with three meats plus a pancake. I think they dropped the baking soda in the pancake batter because that was all I tasted. It left a very uncomfortable feel in my mouth. Beurk! I asked my eggs to be turned and on of them came out nearly fully cooked as in my yolk was nearly hard. Not runny! They also forgot to include the creton and baked beans on my husband's plate. We just reminded them and the waitress gladly got him the rest of his food with a big smile. Like I said, good service.

I'm going to echo other reviews in saying that it's just okay. Not terrible but not amazing either…read more The hostess didn't offer to seat us outside or give us the choice between a booth and a table. After walking through the entire restaurant and realizing there was a lot of booths available (our personal preference), we asked to switch and had to awkwardly walk back and watch her prepare another table. Not a huge deal, but a little lacking in customer care. There is an extensive menu ranging from several eggs Benedict's variations to many versions of a classic breakfasts, multiple pancakes and French toasts options and a number of healthy breakfast items. The food, however, is simply nothing special. It also took a bit of time which made me wonder if I could've just made it at home myself. The answer: not quite because morning reasons, but almost. The scrambled eggs were over cooked, which frankly is on par with the average breakfast place (seriously, why is it so hard to get good scrambled eggs?) The chili, however, was quite good and pairs nicely with their potato rösti, which was also good, albeit a bit thin/small for my taste. The waitress mistakenly ordered a pancake instead of French toast but graciously corrected the mistake. The French toast was not worth the extra wait. Most plates come with warm cinnamon apples which I really liked. Also, the fruits on the plate were very fresh which is nice. I think the plates are a bit smaller than the average breakfast place which I personally don't mind as I find they are usually way too large, resulting in overeating and still ending up wasting food. I ordered one of their smaller egg/ham plate with an extra French toast and I was full. My breakfast mates ordered larger plates and half of them didn't touch the toasts because they were full. Prices are fair. There is a small patio in the parking lot. We got there around 10:30 on a Saturday, didn't have to wait. When we left around noon there was a fairly long lineup. Overall, this place feels more like a 2.5 stars but I rounded it up because there is nothing really offensive about this place, and the chili is actually quite good.

Pretty big orchard so you can get plenty of walking in. There's ladders around the orchard to help you get those high up apples. They have a store that sells all kinds of apple products from ciders, vinegars, jams and other products. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

I sent a message via Facebook chat to Vergers Petit et Fils and they answered pretty quickly saying we weren't late at all. It was a beautiful fall day and the sun was out. I arrived a bit earlier than the rest of the group so we enjoyed their little shop and played around with the farm animals. It's a great place for families with young kids. They have a playground, swings, a large area where children can run and have fun. When my friends arrived, we went inside to try their homemade crepes. Those were definitely not the best I had eaten. Pretty pricy and not too tasty. The crepes were mushy and soggy and the filling was barely cooked. The food is by far the worst experience as the rest is so awesome! The good thing is that they have a big variety of alcohol to choose from. After lunch we headed to the orchard and had the best of times. There were still plenty of apples in the trees and lots of people still participating in apple picking. We enjoyed the truck ride (sitting on bales of hay) around the orchard and filled 2 bags of delicious apples. The staff is amazing, from the people working in the shop to the truck driver. The latter even offered to drive us to the right location for the specific type of apples we were looking for. All and all, we spent 5 hours at the orchard and were never bored. Enjoy the scenery and get loads of apples for pies. Best orchard, just lower your expectations when it comes to their restaurant.

Being in French speaking Quebec as a pescatarian or vegan without speaking the local language is not a challenge here because one or more staff members speak English and translation apps remove the barriers, however i found use of Yelp and translation apps is not something used commonly here I learned. The menu is sure to please everyone with at least something for any taste or diet/lifestyle I had an egg white veggie omelet (no dairy, meat or added oil or fat), smoked salmon with capers, red onions, a fresh fruit bowl with strawberries, banana, honeydew and cantaloupe, blueberries, grapes and watermelon, side of applesauce. My friend had egg Benedict with avocado multigrain toast with generous mixed veggies on top, served with a portion of fresh fruit and very crispy, not greasy cubed home fries. I highly recommend this establishment.
