Been to a couple of locations now, and love this place for breakfast / brunch in Montreal. I usually go for eggs Benedict when traveling if it is available, and all the varieties it can come in. In this case I had a cup of their coffee, along with a pineapple mimosa (mimosa ananas), along with the Béné Joe Fan de Viande, which is basically a meat-lovers eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was on point, and there were indeed plenty of meats to love. The ambiance was also great, with brickwork in the modern industrial renovation style that places have, in an open, airy space. I'd describe it as "jaunty fun". The service was great. We were able to get a table promptly, and the wait staff were an appropriate amount of attentive without being pushy. No issues or complains here. read more

HUGE servings and creative plates. There is so much to choose from. The waitress was amazing, knowledgeable, and helpful. I do recommend checking the menu in advance, there is so much there. I hate to write this review because the employees were all so friendly and helpful. For that I bumped them a star. But, this is Yelp and it's about the food. First, the photo is incorrect, I didn't realize they had gotten the order wrong until after lol. But I ordered an avocado toast and it tasted like packaged Starbucks avocado spread. It was awful and they had no seasoning on the egg or tomato to marry the entire meal. I ended up scraping everything off and just ate the bread and tomato. The fruit cup was okay nothing special. Again, the employees were great they fixed my order quickly and even adjusted a drink I ordered based on my preferences so that was really nice of them. Decent brunch place. Sunday Morning in montreal is hectic when it comes to brunch. Got lucky and we got a table quickly here. Ordered the meat lover eggs Benedict and they were great! Happily, we didn't have to wait in line because when we were leaving the line up was moderately long. The service was good. The place is massive and with cool arts on the wall. They still have Christmas decorations past mid January. We were seated in the back, there was a lot of banging noise so it was a disturbance. Their smoothie machine was acting weird. I ordered mushrooms grilled cheese with arugula salad. My sandwich was very oily, afterwards my belly was very queasy. My sister mango smoothie was more like mango soup, and my other sister smoked meat and egg sandwich with breakfast poutine was enjoyable for her. We stumbled into an other Oeufrier on Saturday. It was amazing! We decided to do it again Sunday but needed to hit up the Atwater Market before heading back home to Kingston. We landed at the St-Henri location which was just around the corner from the market. What an absolute wonderful experience from beginning to end! (Even though there was a bit of a wait, the place was jammed with Sunday brunch goers) The menu is insane. Not sure what the item count is but put it this way...there are 16 grill cheese offerings alone. The level of service is beyond spectacular. From the moment we were seated hot coffee was poured and the cup never got below 1/2 without one of the server staff coming by with a hot refill. We were blessed with a super engaging server. She is a consummate professional at the pinnacle of her game and it shows. The whole place runs with the precision of a finely tuned machine. The food is spectacular. When we arrived there was a long line of people waiting to get a table but it went pretty fast. I spotted 3 breakfast places in the area, all of them were full with long lines. Sunday brunch! Always looking for new places to have breakfast at on the weekend. Been to allo mon coco the last few brunches so decided to switch it up. Was able to get a table right away but we went later around 1:45 on a Sunday. Waitress was polite and nice. She was helpful with the menu, it's a big one with lots of choices. If I can suggest, the mason jar juices are quite good, orange and grape fruit was great. Now, breakfast places are quite common now and the more elaborate dish you want the more expensive it will be. Standard breakfast starts in the $8 range plus tax plus juice. Personally breakfast is a great meal to splurge on and it's always satisfying where as supper is 3 times the price and can hit and miss a lot more often then eggs and bacon. Order details: Eggs, 3 meats, pancake, creton, baked beans and toast (massive and wasn't near being finished). Eggs, meats, waffle, toast and baked beans. Sunday brunch is always a great time! Heavy bfast to soak up Saturday night's drinking fest. The place was DEFINITELY busy and I appreciated the fact that our waiter apologized numerous times for the long delay. The food was not bad at all. I usually stick to a very simple bfast (eggs with potatoes) so it was half decent however the others at my table ordered the brunch poutine with 2 hotdogs and the breakfast mac & cheese. I'm a regular, or I was a regular. The food is generally and service are generally good. The coffee is usually quite weak and at times I have to get up and get my own refills because the staff is distracted or busy. The early special is great. However, now and then I order beans and they are never fresh and hot. They look and taste like beans that were reheated after being left out the day before, some are dried up and brown and the taste is a bit off. Today I ordered beans with my breakfast and sent them back for the above reasons. The next bowl was actually hot, but still didn't seem fresh. Well, judging by the way they came out, they were not fresh! Beans are cheap, if they're going to serve them, they should serve a fresh/hot batch each morning and stop, evidently, reheating beans. read more

There were quite a few options on the menu, but I went with the 2 eggs with bacon, sausage, and banana and nutella crepe. I also chose half and half potatoes, and really liked the mashed potatoes - which I initially was skeptical yet curious about. I thought it was a bit expensive ($13), but the portions were huge!! I asked if the holondaise was homemade they said no which is why I did not order eggs benny. Food came, bagel was chewy and blackened around the edges not even toasted properly. Cheese was processed and not melted. Eggs were cooked fine over easy Potatoes were clearly frozen and brought in potatoes. fruit portion was one small pineapple triangle and a tiny orange slice. Extremely underwhelming clearly most of their ingredients were brought in and little attention to making homemade breakfast. Coffee was good. Girlfriends meal, the waffle batter was sandy similar experience with her bread , soft, blackened edges, pre buttered. Very disappointed with this restaurant was expected more high quality ingredients and more homemade breakfast. What we received was premade, frozen ingredients, extremely underwhelming.
