Food Good Service Excellent Ambiance Nothing Special...Waited over an hour for a table I guess because it's in a hip neighborhood and has cheap eats. With so many other options out there- once was enough. Loved our waiter though- he was more charming than the food.

Overall amazing! The carbonara was delicious but ending the night with their tiramisu is a must! The place was packed but the staff was attentive and friendly.

We have been in Italy for 9 days and had given up on finding good food from Sorrento, positonio,Florence etc. However we finally hit the jack pot in Rome with 29 La Tavernetta. We have one day/night left here and this will be where we eat our final meal! Yes it so good two nights in a row good

I was searching for this place for lunch as I walked through the alleys of Trastevere! Got lucky with the solo seating and 2 other solo diners were near me and we all chatted and ate. Everything was amazing! The seafood salad was a large portion and fresh! The tortellini with ragú was so yummy I ate the rest cold in the hotel! And of course Tony the owner was a sweetheart. A must go to if in the area. A mangiare!

The line was long but we got in and the Food & Service was excellent!!! My son ended up knowing a family friend of the owners who is in a photo on the wall of the restaurant. 100% Recommend!!!

Called and made a reservation in advance due to the many positive Trip Advisor reviews. Right in the heart of Trastevere, this busy place was packed on a recent Saturday night. Inside and outside tables -- we sat inside and it was a bit tight as many restaurants are. Service was good -- but this is not the place for a long, relaxing two hour meal as they keep it moving. We loved the "Roman Chicken" (we call it chicken cacciatori in the US), the Mussels, salad, and pistachio cake also good. Only "miss" was the gnocchi with tomato sauce (not soft and pillowy) but we'd still come back here. Alex our waiter is a real character.

Food, service, drinks, price, dessert... AMAZING! Our favorite meal in Rome by far. There was a bit of a wait but so worth it! The pasta was perfection and the prices were amazing. Would definitely go back and highly recommend you order the tiramisu.

This place had the most amazing food. The staff was falling over themselves to serve us. Admittedly the salad was just ok. I wanted something fresh and the arugula was overwhelmingly peppery. I had the chicken Parmesan which may have been the best I have ever had. Thin slices of chicken with a lightly battered outside. Crusted cheese all around the edges. Outstanding! Took a bite of the ziti. It had an amazing bite to it. Definitely recommend either dish. You can eat in or out. It is a bit cramped and if you eat outside people may be eying your meal while they wait to be seated. I say worth the wait.

This restaurant was located right outside of my air bnb and I'm glad I decided to dine because it was really good. Their carbonara pasta was simply amazing and flavorful. The lamb was cooked beautifully! I was really surprised at the portion size for such a reasonable price. These plates are shareable, or at least that's what happened with the people I dined with lol...the food was too good we had to sample it all. Recommend

Daniel, the son of the chef and part owner was gracious and conversational and made great recommendations for our dinner. We started with a crispy sage leaf appetizer made simply with sage leaves lightly battered and fried in olive oil. Yummy! All of the pasta is made fresh and Mary selected Ravioli ricotta e Spinach while I selected Saltimbocca alla romana (Veal slices in Roman style) and both dishes were delicious. After dinner we opted out of dessert, but Daniel brought a treat to the table consisting of two sugar coated cookies and suggested we soaking them in our wine as a final treat. They were Wonderful! So far one of the best meals we have had in Rome. We would both highly recommend this restaurant, both for the family atmosphere and the great food. We hope to return before leaving Rome.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

It's intimate, cozy authentic Italian charm. The staff here are wonderfully kind and welcoming, making an already memorable meal feel even more special. Show up right at opening if you want to secure a table immediately, as this local treasure fills up incredibly fast! We started with the artichoke, which was quite possibly the best artichoke I've ever tasted in my life. Ubelievably tender and served bathed in rich olive oil that elevated every single bite. The Amatriciana was my personal favorite dish of the night, featuring a rich red sauce packed with a subtle kick of heat and finished with a generous dusting of fresh Parmesan. The stuffed chicken was remarkably tender, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned with delicate flavors that don't overpower. Lastly, the lasagna was everything a classic lasagna should be: wonderfully cheesy and deeply comforting, yet light enough that it doesn't weigh you down. Easily one of my favorite dining spots in all of Europe. I already can't wait for the day I get to return again!
