The owner seems to genuinely care about his guests, as he was walking around having conversations with each guest. The waitress, Francesca, treated us like VIP. They definitely earned their "Best of Williamsburg" Gold award for the last five years in a row.

First them meal: Outstanding. The wifey and I both ordered small pizzas. Mine was the All Meat and the wifey ordered the Arugula and Prosciutto. Let me say again both were outstanding and tasted amazing. When talking about my old meat pizza out of the four or five meats on mine with standard it out above the others was the sausage. Had an absolutely wonderful flavor. But surprisingly it didn't overpower when it was combined with the other meats. As for the wife, this is the second time she's had this combination type Pizza. The first time was in an authentic Italian restaurant, but was in Mexico. Yeah, that's kind of crazy pizza in Mexico but at that location down there it was incredible enough to make my wife want it again and this is the first time we have found a location that served a similar pizza. The arugula was fresh, not welted and really popped with flavor. Now both the wife and I had to really agree that the crust for both pizzas was not that heavy dough type. It had a little fluff to it, making it not weighing in your belly after you eat it. Staff: our server was outstanding as well. Very intentive checked on us several times and we even had some conversation back-and-forth. I believe we may have talked also to the owner who was sitting out front. If nothing else he was the manager again another very friendly man that we enjoyed our conversation with. As for the location: we found it very clean. And well kept. If you look at my other past reviews at locations via visited the one thing we really base cleanliness on is sometimes the restrooms. Well, in a shared ladies/men room, it was also very clean and well kept. So I will say again, outstanding location, outstanding staff, and wonderful food. If you're in the area absolutely I would recommend this for your lunchtime meal. We absolutely look forward to going back at a later time and trying some of the other dishes they offer.

This spot definitely got a nice date night vibe to it. Darkly lit. Super chill hostess but limited seating. There are maybe 6 to 8 tables total including a L shape bar that you can pull up to which is exactly where we sat. The bartender was really on point the night we visited. Immediately took our order, gave us a quick perusal of the drinks, and then promptly poured three different types of spirits, a wine for my first brother, a vodka and cranberry for my second and a whiskey flight that they had on the special for myself. We enjoyed all three. In terms of food, we ordered a couple of different appetizers, including the pizza. And I actually was hoping we were going to order dinner because all of the entrees that we saw hit the bar around us looked fantastic. We ended up connecting with a really cool local business owner by the name of Sonny, who is also at the bar having a bit of dinner before heading back to his Shop. That made the overall night even better. This is definitely a spotI will be checking out when I'm back in town.

Luckily…read moreVino is just a short walking distance from Andiamo and such a wonderful alternative that fully satisfied my cravings for some italian food! I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Vino. This is a great spot to take a date for a slightly fancier italian vibe and some good wine! They have booths, tables, and bar seating. The restaurant is open concept so you can see everything that's going on! The foods are served with such beautiful presentation and they taste very good too. We had the burrata for the appetizer and capellini pomodoro with meatball add-ons. Both were very delicious. The pomodoro sauce was nice and tangy but not overly acidic. And the meatballs were full of flavor and just the right saltiness for me. But if you're the type to add more seasoning, the tables come with pepper and salt so you can season to taste! The waitress we had was super friendly. Checked in on us only on occasion which was nice because my friend and I were able to chat at length without interruptions! :)

Once while dining in we had the arancini ball and it was ice cold in the middle, other times our food tasted just luke warm. Today we gave it another shot and ordered delivery after a long travel day and we were so disappointed, paid $10 for a ceaser salad and it was very small with 5 croutons and looked like the lettuce was just poured out of a bag you'd buy at the grocery store. The pastas were okay but nothing impressive. Expensive for what we got. I don't love leaving bad reviews but now that this has happened a few times here I feel the review was warranted.
