I booked a 90 minutes couple massage for two people - combination massage which included hot towels cleansing, hot stone, deep tissue, thai massage and they have the thai traditional stand on you massage which is fun and great, doesn't hurt as much as the elbow knots style. They are very respectful have multiple towels to cover you and will ask you what body parts you want extra focus on as well. They also do stretching and hot oil. The stretching front and back of the body assisted was really nice to help your body lossen up from car rides, office seating, workouts etc. They did the full 90 minutes which was great. The first thing she asked about was who was going to make the payment. Sorry but can agree w/ all the reviews They are okay. Got the Thai massage Pressure was okay. She played w/ my legs more than what I'm used to specifically after me telling her to focus on my back. She didn't do my arms. She also had to stopped the massage many times to answer her phone. I payed for an hr, I probably got 40 min not counting the times she had to stop to answer her text messages. Whenever I go anywhere for massages I ask for a focus on my feet, but this is the first place I've gone that actually gives me a healthy dose of reflexology when I ask for it, complete with pushing on pressure points on the soles in ways that yield total relief. They do great with the rest of my body sure, but spend a solid amount of time there because I want it. I really enjoy the technique here in particular and they're good with dealing the right amount of pressure. And they're very friendly. Natsha gave me one of the most amazing massages I have ever received in my life. She was kind and gracious but not overbearing. Her massage was complex and physically demanding but she also was able to completely relax my muscles and nerves in a way I haven't experienced in a long time (a massage that both works you out and fully relaxes you at the same time). I was feeling really bad after work and it was around 8:45pm - I saw they were open until 10 and called to see if they could accommodate me even though it was so late. The man on the phone was so sweet and told me to come in. It's a no frills place but its clean and Natsha and the man at the counter were so incredibly sweet - and the massage was phenomenal. This is so far the best authentic and traditional thai massage in LA! Owner and also lady who worked there is very nice and they are all from Thailand. Ann is really good in massaging and has a good pressure on the body. I have a super tight shoulder and neck and the massage I got from Ann helps me a lot with relaxing my tensed shoulder. She focused on all of my body area (legs, hands, lower & upper back) but even more on my shoulder and lower back area. She also asked if I have headache from all the tension I had. She is super professional and definitely knows what she's doing. She made sure my body feels free from the tension before sending me home! I've been to LA Thai body works a few times. I discovered them through Groupon. The hour massage is about $35/hour. With Groupon, it's about the same, sometimes I get a 20% coupon that makes it a little cheaper. I usually request for a male massuse. The 3-4 times I've been has been a lifesaver. I work in an office environment, where I sit most of the time in front of the computer. My right hand, shoulder, and neck gets really stiff and hurts because of the excessive mouse clicking motion. The last time I went, Joey helped me. He seemed to enjoy cracking my back a little too much, making a sound of such pleasure each time he heard it. I felt like....I failed him when my back didn't crack. Joey fed off verbal approval. I am typically quiet when it comes to getting my massage. So he periodically would ask me "my friend, okay?" I would assure him that he's doing fine. The Thai massages typically involved being stepped on. Joey is not a small guy by any means, so he maybe too...heavy for some. I enjoyed it, but just a warning. He's also, pretty heavy handed even when you tell him to lighten up on your tender areas. I'm not sure if he already had bruised me and my tender areas ...just became more tender. Overall, I left feeling beaten, but in a good way. It could be that I like pain, but that's what you should expect from a Thai massage. The knots on my right sides are definitely gone and worth ever dollar I spent. read more

The actual massage is good. They seem to all do the exact same thing so all you limbs will get attention. What I don't like about this place is they don't actual give you your full time. If your appointment is at 11a then that's when your time will start(at check in).
