[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a family-owned business and I was fortunate enough to have been greeted by the father, Will, upon arrival.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Apparently Will retired and his son operates the shop now, but he still comes in to help out from time to time. The technicians were equally as friendly and upon removing the front wheels, noticed uneven wear on the treads and steel wires exposed on one of the inner tires. Due to the safety concern, I decided to replace all four tires and opted for an alignment to fix the uneven wear from before. They stock budget-friendly tire brands and have some more performance-focused brands as well. If they don't have what you want in stock, they can order it quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While the technicians and the alignment specialist, Rudy, were working on my vehicle, I was busy chatting with Will.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There business has expanded and they opened up a full mechanic shop on the same block - "Sparky's." Will actually walked me over to show me the new shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once the new tires were on and the alignment complete, Rudy came over and explained what my original alignment measurements were and how they are now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's clear from my visit today that Will and Rudy take pride in their work. I believe that tire pressure is normally measured by PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) but at Ten Minute Tire, I believe it's more accurately translated by another form of PSI (Potassium per Shopper Ingested). Allow me to explain... While leaving a construction site late last night, my rear tire was gashed (mostly by my horrible driving) and I was left to put on a spare, which also had very little air in it. This is a brand new truck and it never dawned on me to check the status of the spare tire. I mean, whoever does? Anyways, I barely made it home last night, and I was directed by my nephew (who happens to be visiting me in LA at the moment) to drive the car over to Ten Minute Tire first thing this morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were greeted by a smiling technician, actually more like 10 of them, all smiles, and the head honcho came over to us with a handful of bananas to consume while his crew was fast at work to remove the spare, and attempt to repair the rear tire.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In the end, the damage was far too great for repair, and so they were able to find a used tire in great condition, which matched the size of my tire. That in itself was a blessing given that my rims are aftermarket and of course, with such comes the task of hard to find sized tires (low profile for a large truck is often not in stock and must be ordered, except for today!) We arrived around 10am and as we finished our approximately 10th banana, 5 for me and 5 for my nephew, we saw the crew putting on the finishing touches to the job: applying more air to all four tires, locking up the spare tire back to its home underneath the bed of the truck), and of course, making sure we were good on our Potassium levels. I woke up this morning fully expecting to pay roughly #300-500 to not only repair the spare/damaged tire, but also having to order a brand new one to fit my rim. I left the business having paid 20% of what I had budgeted. If you're reading this it's too late, head over to Ten Minute Tire right this second, not because you have a flat tire, but because you need to reup your Potassium level. Go!!! read more

Went there to have 2 tires mounted and balanced. The overall service was great. The guys handled my Tesla with care and once I was finally able to drive up to a spot, it was a pretty quick process... probably around 20 min. The only sour pill was the process before getting a spot. The location is on a corner and parking is nonexistent. You either have to block a car that's getting serviced, park near the end of the corner or infront of the business next to them. No one's monitoring who's first or next, so good luck. This place gets busy! I came in mid-day on a Thursday to get a replacement tire and there were cars parked next to each other. It honestly did not take very long for me to wait. I pulled up to the spot and within 5 minutes, I was approached. He looked at the back, luckily found a tire that fits my car and then replaced it, even giving me a discount because it was discontinued. Working 9-5 daily makes it kind of hard to find a place to drop your vehicle off and get your tires changed out. It was a Sunday and so many tire places were closed so that stood out for me.
