This restaurant has been a staple of our community for over a decade now, even though it changed owners. Under the new management, I can definitely tell you that their steak + cheese + sauce panzarotti is the best in town. It comes in a comfortable tight pouch that doesn't overflow or leave a mess behind. Their pizza, of course, is great as well (though I'd love to have more cheese though, guys). we ordered a cheesesteak stromboli. We asked for fried onions and sauce on side. When we arrived to pick up the cook admitted to putting the onions into the stromboli. What we didn't know was he added a load of onions and it permeated the taste. The tough chewing steak was no great addition either. read more

I have to update my previous review and give this business the 5 stars it deserves as a PIZZA place. If you read my previous review, you saw I said the meatballs were terrible, pizza was great. I'm sticking with that, but because meatballs weren't technically offered on the menu as a PIZZA topping, I'm keeping it as strictly my pizza review since I just got another margherita pie, and it's freaking great. I posted a pic a week or so ago. I swear on all that is holy, I have never had a better margherita pizza in my life. And I swear, I've eaten more than I should have. The sauce, the fresh garlic, the doe... It's all incredible. I can't order from anywhere else, not after this last experience. Best pizza place in Croydon. Quick delivery, amazing service and always amazing food. Their Margherita pizza and buffalo chicken pizza are incredible! Even with it being so busy during quarantine, they brought me a complete new order within 5-10 minutes because they originally gave me the wrong pizza, and that was without me even calling back to tell them. Don't let that deter you because it was the first time my order was ever and wrong in 5 years and most likely cause they're swamped during this crazy time. They're amazing! La-Vera pizza is normally what I eat when I got to Neshaminy creek Brewing. They have a working relationship and offer deals if you're at the brewery. The delivery is always pretty fast and the food is always hot and tasty. They do offer a catering menu which isn't listed on their actual menu, but we used them for our daughters birthday party. We ordered a few different hoagies on a platter as well as chicken fingers and French fries. Many of our guests said how great the food was. Highly dissatisfied with our experience tonight we ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and a chicken parmesan meal that was supposed to come with a side salad. It took over an hour for them to deliver and were less then a mile away and they forgot the salad and the driver said he would be right back with it. The chicken salad I ordered last week & the chicken salad I ordered this week are completely different. They were both good but this bothers me. Consistency is key. Last weeks chicken salad had chunks of chicken. This week it was shredded and also had shredded carrots & other things. What will I get the next time I order? My boyfriend and i had to wait almost 2 hours on a Thursday night for our pizza to be delivered. The first time we called the shop, the pizza arrived stone cold after an hour (during which time we had to call to ask where it was since they told us 25 minutes wait time). My boyfriend sent it back and called asking for a new one. Initially the manager refused, but then finally relented. It took 50 minutes for us to get another, and when it did arrive, they still made us pay for it. Awful from the get-go. We figured we'd try this place since we got a menu left on our door step (obviously seeking business in a new town and now I know why) from them and since the reviews I read were so favorable. Wow talk about not even close to a good place! I'm not sure what place people were reviewing or if their own employees just posted reviews to make them look good. So we placed an order on a Wednesday night and it was a 30 minute delivery. The food came but instead of the 2 milkshakes we ordered, they brought 2 pieces of cheesecake. I called immediately and told them what we ordered (which was correct on the receipt they gave us). They said they would take 20 minutes to get to us. 20 mins for a shake?! Then they called back two minutes later to say that they didn't have chocolate and we'd have to get another flavor. Well over an hour went by before they delivered the shakes! Obviously we were finished our food and there was no point. They best part of this situation....... they asked for the cheesecakes back (now anyone could have spit on it or done something nasty to it and it scares me to think that they would take this back and serve it to someone else)! Completely gross and unsanitary! Talk about guts to screw up an order, take over an hour to fix it and then ask for the cake back! They never even offered an apology once; not when I called (and I was very nice) and not when they delivered over an hour after the first delivery. After all of that, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered a turkey club (which was sloppy put together), a calzone (large in size but taste was only ok), milkshakes (vanilla was good, strawberry was very fake tasting) and french fries (some of them were still raw). This place is skeevy, has extremely poor business practices, can't get simple orders correct, has horrible customer service, and takes a ridiculous amount of time for delivery. I can't imagine what they would be like on a weekend when they are busy! Needless to say, we won't be ordering from this place again. Don't waste your time or your money!
