The air conditioning worked great (which I appreciated after spending hours in the sun), parking was easy and onsite, and the location made it convenient to get anywhere around Cape May. The pool is a plus. All basic amenities included, coffee maker and coffee, microwave, fridge, soap, towels, lotions, vending machine and ice machine. If you're looking for a clean, affordable place to stay without all the extras, I'd definitely recommend it. Side note: Restaurants at walking distance. A little more tucked away from the busy side of cape may but minutes away from the action and beaches.

Cozy dinning area, closets to live in and a fabulous gas grill right outside our door! It was just perfect! Oh and don't forget? Each year, we've had to change summer weeks for various reasons, and they have been patient and helpful with each change to make sure all their guests get a week that they are happy with. They are also incredibly responsive. On the second night of our stay, the BBQ wasn't working. We let Jim and Laura know, and they were out the next day to try to fix it. When they couldn't fix it, they went out and bought a new BBQ, and we had it in time for dinner. Last summer, we stayed a week in the Master Suite again. This year, my sister had a new baby, so we opted for a week in both the Parlor Suite and the Garden Suite (both on the first floor). These two suites are incredibly nice, and the shower in the Parlor Suite was just redone. Now, it's a gorgeous and spacious walk-in shower. Love! The Parlor Suite has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living area with a small kitchen area and a fireplace. The Garden Suite has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room (which also has a pull-out bed). The Parlor Suite also allows you to sit on the side porch- there is a door leading out to it- and the Garden Suite gives you access to the back porch. We have been incredibly happy with our summer rental through Columbia House, and I'd strongly recommend staying here! My parents have also come to Cape May during the fall and winter, and they always stay at the Columbia House. They've mentioned that it is very peaceful during the off-season and not expensive (rates can be found on their website). Two thumbs up!! We'll definitely be back next year.

They should be ashamed of themselves for renting these dirty rooms without correcting the mold issue. They try to cover the mold issue with room deodorizer. The health department should shut them down. The owners have had this property for 30 plus years, sad they have neglected this property for all these years. I caution people to not stay there if they don't want to be exposed to mold. I have since learned there are many other nice places with better accommodations!

Every chair and umbrella, the whole pool, the golf/shuffleboard area and the grills all got a thorough cleaning. It was almost a bit overzealous, but how could you complain about that?
